I really enjoyed this story. It intrigued me straight away, I'm a huge PnR reader so I knew I'd have to give this book and new to me Author a try. Vampires, Angels, Demons and a secret society of assassins, whats not to love.
Charlotte is a young girl that is struggling with herself, deeply unhappy she decides to try a spell to gain popularity. This causes a twist of fate for Charlotte and her life will never be the same again.
The Lillian a secret society offer her a place with them in the ongoing battle of good verses evil but there's a price to pay and Charlotte has to decide if having her dreams of popularity and perfection are worth the risk.
There were some fantastic characters in this story. I'm excited to see what will happen next. I loved the possibility of Charlotte and Gabriel, I'm hoping the Author gives us a bit more there because those two have definitely gained my attention.
Engaging and entertaining saga. Character development brought forward in a timely way. The writing allows for expansion of the story and it's participants leading the reader forward into book. Well done, I look forward to more by this charming author.
I was given this book for an honest review and a honest review is what you will get. Cynthia Witherspoon has always kept me hooked on her books within the first chapter. This book was no different. Charlotte Kingston was a poor girl who wants what she thinks every girl has. Beauty, nice clothes , a wonderful exciting life. But when a fire takes her family away from her, she faces reality. When going off to college she starts thinking after years of wanting she can finally make it happen. Fate makes it happen even faster then what she can believe. When asked to join the Lilliths, a group of beauties that are immortal ,to all earthly things, and fight to send the dark souls that roam the earth to hell. She feels the start of a new life kicking in. With a battle brewing and coming closer each minute will she join her friends, along with the Archangels and fight or will she go back to normal life? Will the vampires and demons win, taking these girls to hell with them? What big mystery will Gabriel unlock? The book was none other then Awesome!. The religious background to the demons. I feel this book will have believers along with believers on the edge of their seat. I couldn't put this book down. I give it a wonderful 5 stars.
I've never really read a Vampire book. Yes I read Twilight because my roommate begged me to, I don't think that counts though. This book however, had me guessing and intrigued until the very end and then some. The short story has within it's pages some very complex characters. To be able to create complexity within the amount of pages she did simply makes Cynthia an amazing writer. Suffice it to say, I absolutely loved this book and can't wait until Cindy comes out with more.
This was a great book! The author did an amazing job introducing all the characters and setting up the story line in a short amount of time. This was a quick read that captured my attention from the start, sucked me into the story and left me ready for more.
What a fantastic story! Kept me hooked from chapter one right to the very end. A refreshing take on witches and supernatural. Hoping there is more to read in this series.
I asked for an honest review free of persuasion from the author or anyone else affiliated with this book.

I found another series by Cynthia Witherspoon to fall in love with! This book will pull you in from the first paragraph and not let go until after the last page is turned. I read this book in one sitting. I couldn't put it down! I can not wait for the next book in this series!
Charlotte grew up in poverty. She always knew who she wanted to be, but didn't know how to reach it. That is until one fateful day that she found a book in a library. This book had a spell to change herself into who she always knew she could be. Smart, beautiful, happy, and enough wealth to not have to worry about the every day expenses. Does Charlotte perform the spell? Does it work? At what cost?
I have not read a book by Cynthia Witherspoon that I didn't like. I recommend this book and all of her other books. I can't wait to see what comes next from this author. While I am waiting, I plan to read other books that she has already written that I haven't read yet.
Another great read that I have come to love by Cynthia Witherspoon. This book is full of suspense and mystery. The story pulls you in with great character chemistry and a story that holds you until the very last page. I hope this is just the beginning of another amazingly addictive series. Cynthia has made me a reader of her books and a genre I didn't think I would ever enjoy. She did it wither her amazing story-telling and characters that pull you in. I have become a fun and you will too! **I was given a copy in exchange for an honest review**
Cynthia D Witherspoon has done it again! The Lillian captured my attention and kept it until the end. This is not your typical story of good vs evil. It is beautifully written and filled with memorable characters. I have fallen in love with Charlotte and Gabriel. I cannot wait to learn what the future brings.
