Yuma and Hotaru have been friends since childhood. It is only natural that when Yuma is nervous about her new boyfriend, she asks Hotaru and her boyfriend along for a double date. But when Hotaru offers herself to Yuma as “practice”, both girls realize that they’re more interested in each other than they are in their own boyfriends. With boyfriends in the foreground but a ...more

While I do like have diverse plots and forms of yuri manga being translated into English, this book didn't quite work for me. Mostly this is because there just didn't seem to be any real chemistry between Yuma and Hotaru - I actually want Yuma to end up with her boyfriend. In part this is because he's not sexually assaulting her the way Hotaru is and I really prefer consensual romance, but mostly it's due to the fact that the yuri plot between the two girls feels forced in more ways than one. ...more

Holy fuck was this dumb as shit.

Apparently the mangaka is a woman which is really surprising considering I would have assumed it was written by a man who had never kissed a girl before (or judging by the weird boob physics on the cover, apparently never seen one.)

If you like hentai... well... that's basically what this is. All the spoilers from here on out but just know that there is like no story here anyways. Just porn.

The characters are absurd. MC is just a
So I heard this one was getting an anime, so I had to check it out. It is something I at times do when I am interested in an upcoming anime. Check out the manga. :P

I was a bit worried about this one, since there is cheating. And I am not a girl who likes that kind of thing. However, after reading, I am still pissed at the two girls (and also at someone later on who finds out about them but apparently keeps it a secret, but probably won't do that freely), but I can't stop reading. Really all you need to know here is that "NTR" is Japanese slang for "cucking" (as all the cool fascists are calling it). Specifically it refers to pornographic and semi-pornographic stories in which a guy has his girlfriend seduced by another guy (or, in this case, a girl), typically while he's forced to watch.

Well, it's better than omorashi.

This story winds up being a little uncomfortable, because most of the relationship between the two main characters has been reduced to one sexually molesting the other; and not in an anime goofball way. It gives the story a kind-of heaviness that sets is apart from typical yuri stories, which usually start with an emotional connection—instead, this one seems mostly physical, with the aggressor constantly finding extremely lame excuses to kiss and fondle her friend, while that friend wrestles wit ...more

I actually liked this yuri but I personally preferred Citrus.
It's cute but I'm not actually a fan of the non-consensual romance. It's one of those mangas where a straight girl magically becomes gay, I don't know either but that happens in yaoi too.
The art is above average and pretty much amazing for a yuri manga though but I can't say much for the characters here.

I don't really relate to this manga, it's smutty ( and cute ) but more of a fantasy type of thing.
I'm still g

No love story here! Misleading synopsis promises a far better plot than you actually get.

The synopsis on the back of the book states two straight couples go on a double date and the girls "find themselves more attracted to each other than to their boyfriends." That's just a blatant lie. The book actually begins after the implied double date, during which one girl molested the other. In fact, the entire book is about the unwanted advances of one girl toward the other, resulting in rap

Ehh. So. The back of this book compares it to Citrus but I feel like that comparison is really unfair. Citrus is a sweet and character driven story with a touch of tawdriness. NTR is almost all tawdriness with a touch of sweet and no understandable character development.

Great art, meh story.

When I heard this story involved cheating, I jumped in. I don't condone it in real life, but I'm a sucker for drama, so I was expecting a lot of contradictory feelings, guilt, angst galore!

Well, there wasn't. Much.

Certainly not in the amounts I was hoping for.

First, it's hard to see the whole situation as believable. And not because it's that impossible. In fact, the author had a pretty great premise and somehow managed to blow it.

Soft core smut featuring static characters with NO feeling...well aside from concerning about/wanting to get laid. I think manga is published a chapter at a time and I believe this title’s purpose is to give the reader a soft core makeout sesh with some mild nudity and some heavy petting.

I mentioned static characters above...there are four main characters who show no growth in this volume and they’re all flawed with no really redeeming qualities.

Yuma, the main protagonist

The art is really pretty and it's very sensual (almost feel it should be M rating, not OT). I have some issues with Hotaru's treatment of Yuma, though I do feel some of it is somehow a reaction to how her experiences with guys have been. It's constantly obvious with her reactions to Fujwara that she isn't actually as consenting as he seems to think. Takeda seems like a sweet guy, a little dopey, and I wouldn't be surprised if he finds out about Hotaru and Yuma and it turns ugly. Mixed feelings o ...more

I don't hate this for near the same reasons as everyone else seems to... yes, the plot and characters are very thin, yeah it's basically porn. But it's tropes and a little campy, which I like. I don't necessarily see this as "straight girl gone gay" as some have said, I do think the one is borderline sexually harassing her, but I'm curious to see where the story goes. Certainly it has it faults, but I'm giving it a chance to continue to series and see what develops.

Really gorgeous art, but I don't condone cheating. Although this adds many layers to multiple characters, and I'm interested in where it'll go especially with the girls' discovery of either their bisexualism or lesbianism, there seems to be a lacking of morals and boundaries in the characters of this book that I can't agree with.

A 6-volume yuri manga series. At the beginning, it seemed to offer fan service and little else. The characters were developed and the last volume was closer to 5-star than to 3-star. I won't read it again, but would recommend it to people who are interested in yuri.

I think this title really has excellent potential to become really great or to really suck. The art is pretty and the beginning is good enough for me to give it more of a chance so we'll see where it goes.

Sexual harassment and cheating. I wasn't sure what the plot was going into it, just thought it was a romance with two girls, but it is basically one girl not understanding what consent is and harassing the other girl. Both girls have boyfriends, so cheating as well.

Won't read more of the series.

I'm not sure how to rate this...I really liked the way this was drawn but consent seems to be of little consequence in the storyline, which felt extremely uncomfortable.

I had been really excited to read this manga because the premise sounded really cute. Two best friends who realize they have feelings for each other? Sign me up. However the emphasis of this series is definitely on sex and not building a healthy relationship at all which was pretty disappointing. The two main characters sleep around with different guys while also being sexual with each other and use jealously and sex as tactics to hurt each other. I had high hopes for the series because the art ...more

NTR: Netsuzou Trap is a book about two friends - one of whom is seriously messed up. Yuma is an athletic and popular, but very naive and innocent girl. Her best friend Hotaru is the opposite. She is smaller, not into sports, and definitely not innocent.

When Yuma begins dating a member of her sports club, Hotaru has the strangest way of reacting. Basically, she starts hitting on Yuma, in the guise of helping her to prepare for physical intimacy with her new boyfriend, Takeda. Amazingly, Y

I liked it. I'm not sure how I feel yet about the series as a whole, since first this is only the first volume I have read, but also how Hotaru is going about things. I mean honestly... first off the cheating in general but also way too forceful. Like is that really called for? I liked it enough to continue through another volume or 2 to see how things progress. Right now I just feel really bad for Yuma's boyfriend. :( And also Yuma, if she begins to have feelings for Hotaru because Hotaru is be ...more
