Audiobook book.

This story was short but sweet. Elinor has a new job and is moving to the magical town of snowflake valley. Her new job involves finding the heart of the town. An advice column sounded like an easy task but Elinor soon realised she’s going to need to dig around for some of the answers.

With romance and a loveable town, this is a fun story.

I will definitely be reading more by this author.

This was a short and sweet novella. I liked the premise of the story and the main character, but the rest of the character felt and acted very odd at times. I also had a feeling like this was an introduction to a full novel, because the action did jump at times and would definitely benefit from more development.

Book Title: The Snowflake Valley Advice Fairy
Book Authors: Holly Tierney-Bedord

Rating: 5 stars

It’s a Christmas story, a romance story, and one full of lessons.

This story is about a 25 year old girl named Elinor who decided to move to her favorite town and work an advice columnist. What I really liked about this novella was that Elinor was really naive about her job. She thought that the questions would be fun to answer! Those questions were considerable hard and sounded

I one-clicked this book right before Christmas as it was on a FREE promo (and the Cover - AMAZING!)!! I totally scored on this book! If you are looking for a cute weekend read, this is for you! To be the new employee at work, which you happen to replace a long-standing employee, and in a new city - what is a girl to do? Well, that is just what Elinor faces and how she goes about handling the situation is nothing short of something that I would do. The author's writing flowed smoothly and I look ...more

A short story/novella and nicely written. Fun and romantic - although a little more focus on the romance would have been nice. Loved how Elinor dealt with the problem page!

Really hooked by the characters in this book. They are so real and some are absolutely crazy. A fun and entertaining story. Elinor is a real and personable and really cares about what advice she will give as the Snowflake Valley Advice Fairy. Unlike the previous advice columnist Elinor answers the readers’ questions with helpful advice. Want to know more of this town and its inhabitants. Looking forward to reading more by Holly Tierney-Bedord.

This was a quick read, around 90 minutes.

I LOVED it! I could not put it down once I started, I stayed up way too late to finish it. Small towns aren't always how you picture them. Change is hard but usually for the best, Elinor learns this quickly. Co workers aren't always the easiest people to be around, but stand your ground! So many little lessons in this novella.

The Snowflake Valley Advice Fairy is a novella by Holly Tierney-Bedord. I have read a few of Ms. Tierney-Bedord’s books and have enjoyed them all thoroughly. She has a unique and distinctive style, an almost innocent and optimistic approach to her writing. Her books that I have read so far - have all been fresh, fun and light hearted; this one included.

The Snowflake Valley Advice Fairy by Holly Tierney-Bedord is the story of Elinor, who has been hired to write an advice column for the Snowflake Valley Gazette, “Merry” the Advice Fairy. She will be replacing the previous advice columnist, Trudy, who has recently passed away.
Growing up Elinor loved Snowflake Valley; she would come every year as a youngster to the festivals with her family and always thought Snowflake Valley was the “happiest place on the planet”. When the job for the Advice

This novella is pure gold and everything you can ask for in a story. This darling book spotlights delightful characters, and overflows with wit, whimsy and creativity.

“It’s Snowflake Valley. It’ll make you a little crazy.”

Young Elinor romps into the Snowflake Valley Gazette to take on her first job. She remembers Snowflake Valley as the “happiest place on the planet.” Her eagerness is dampened when she learns more about her writing job. She is taking over for the paper’s former “agony aunt” and

The Snowflake Valley by Holly Tierney-Bedord. I give this book 5/5 stars. The theme of this book is a girl moves to a town she visited when she was a kid. This is a novella.
Elinor is new to Snowflake Valley and is twenty five years old. She is the new advice fairy for the local paper. Her life is changed three weeks later when she decides to stay. The quote I chose for her shows that she really wants the job: “Floundering? No, I'm not floundering at all. In fact, at this point in my life, I

The Snowflake Valley Advice Fairy is a novella written by Holly Tierney-Bedord. Elinor moves to Snowflake Valley for her dream job to take over the advice column and become Merry the Advice Fairy. Elinor is a young woman who the editor was definitely not expecting. Elinor was very happy to land the job as advice columnist in Snowflake Valley, because she had such fond memories as young girl of visiting and loving this small town. But after only one day in Snowflake Valley, she is not sure

The Snowflake Valley Advice Fairy by Holly Tierney-Bedord, narrated by Jeanette Smith is the perfect novella-length audiobook to get you in the mood for the holiday season. Dear Trudy,
I really enjoyed reading The Snowflake Valley Advice Fairy by Holly Tierney-Bedord and I give it 4 fun novella stars. Let me explain why…

The Snowflake Valley Advice Fairy is holiday novella by Holly Tierney-Bedford.
When Elinor lands a job in the town where she had so many great childhood memories she is beyond happy, especially since she will be working for a paper like she always imagined herself doing.
Too bad for Elinor it does not take long for the town to lose its magic! What she first thought of as a "fun job" turns out to be more real then she ever expected. She never thought of the town as a real place, but more a fun

When you are in need of a job, and the advice column for the local paper comes up, Elinor grabs a hold of it. After all, how hard can it be to give people advice? Not only is she living in the shadow of long time guidance giving Trudy, but the name change of the column also raised some eyebrows. Does she have enough experience to give help to those in need? This quirky listen is fun and witty. I loved the women cackling and the ghost of Trudy overseeing her. But the best was the advice she ...more

This was a sweet short story. The time line jumps at times. I would like to see this as a full length novel because it would have been so much better. I enjoyed the main characters, the secondary characters were kind of odd. Over all a good read.
