It’s Sam’s twenty-ninth birthday, and it’s during his party that it’s announced the Mayor has died of a heart attack. No biggie since there’s really no love lost between the town and the somewhat shady Mayor. It’s the phone call Nathan receives from his boss the following day about a new assignment, though, that causes a stir with Sam.

Now, in the first book, Double Indemnity, Maggie Kavanagh explains how deeply Nathan gets into character when he’s undercover—so if he has to slee

I couldn't put it down. I didn't see that plot twist, so 5 stars!

This was a fast paced and sexy conclusion to Sam and Nathan's story. The book starts off with them in a good place. That is quickly uprooted when Nathan is sent back to under cover work. Sam can't find peace with it and his sobriety is put to the test. These two go through a rough patch but I liked how it was handled and I thought it felt realistic. I REALLY liked a scene where one MC is going through serious emotional stuff and the other refuses to do a sex scene because it's not the a

This was a wonderful and fitting end to the series. Loved it!!!

And I would love to read more by this author, but it looks as if she has vanished.

I loved this installation, my favorite of the series.

Sam is still flawed, but that's why I love him. Nathan is his perfect match.

The mystery was very good, and surprised me; but this book wasn't all sleuthing: there is relationship development.

I also liked who comes to the rescue at the end, well done!

Teeny, tiny caveat. I'm not sure how realistic Nathan's undercover work is. But hey, this is fiction.

I loved, loved, loved this series!!!!! I finally warmed up to Nathan. He redeemed himself in my eyes! I just adored everything about Sam and felt protective of him! If ever someone deserved a HEA it was him!!!!!

I really enjoyed Sam and Nathan here.
While Sam falling of the wagon ticked me off a bit, it was more realistic than him just up and quitting without ever having a relapse.
It was good that they hit a couple bumps in the road, and came out stronger.
The mystery was a little anticlimactic.
Tim--hard to suspend belief, but nice.
Nicely wrapped up the series.

Blind Spot is the third and concluding installment of The Stonebridge Mysteries series, and Maggie Kavanagh has packed it with suspense, romance, sex and drama.
The story starts with Sam's 29th birthday party - and the surprise news of another death in Stonebridge. It is this that leads Sam into another investigation, which becomes more complex and personal than he could have previously imagined.
Maggie Kavanagh carefully plans out a plot which keeps her reader engrossed in the developments and as

Blind Spot is the perfect conclusion to the amazing Stonebridge Mystery series. I've been in love with Sam and Nathan since the very beginning and seeing their story come to an end is bitter sweet. The story line is dynamic, the characters are compelling and the mystery is captivating; full of unexpected twist and turns. Maggie Kavanagh's ability to consistently invigorate her writing style guarantees a fresh reading experience that never fails to impress. Stonebridge Mysteries is a truly outsta ...more

Seriously? You had to threaten Sam's ride on the wagon? You just had to break him, didn't you? Oh wait that is all part of the sequel process, I guess. But Sam? He has been through so much. You just had to break him more. Well, at least, you fixed him in the end. Speaking of ends, please don't let this be the end of Sam and Nate's adventures.

I enjoyed the first book, the second was ok. By this stage I don't like Sam. I'm not keen on the intrepid lone amateur sleuth. Adrien English is endearing when he does it, Sam is smug. Nathan is a cardboard cutout of a boyfriend, I can't tell you one meaningful thing about him, he's not a fleshed out character, he's there to orbit around the egotistical planet of Sam.

I think I'm done.
3.5 stars.

The mystery wasn't that good, but the rest was entertaining. Can't wait for more.

Did NOT like the end. What is it with criminals bragging/confessing/telling all? When did that become a thing?
