Lines In The Sand is a love story set against he backdrop of World War I and the Genocide of the Armenian nation. It is the story of families who must sacrifice everything. And, as countries collide, it is the story of a young man and woman who find each other and must struggle to survive despite impossible odds.

In 1915, the Ottoman Empire carried out a systematic plan of annihilating the Armenian race within Eastern Turkey. The Christian Armenian minority was tortured, murdered, and forced on desert marches to die in makeshift concentration camps. In total, the Armenian Genocide mercilessly took the lives of over 1.5 million men, women, and children, both young and old.

With this tragic history and amidst the epic battles of World War I, Lines In The Sand is the story of Hagop and Sona, two young Armenians living in their ancestral villages of Palou and Bitlis. Promised in marriage by their parents, they are forced to sacrifice their young love as their peaceful lives are destroyed and their family members perish. Separated during the terror and turmoil, Hagop and Sona struggle to stay alive and find each other.
