I really enjoyed the firsst haf of this books, but i got bored once we hit the domestic stuff. I just found it boring and understan why many of these types of books just have an epilogue with the happy ending in.

Dray and Luce have been friends for a long time! They always busted each other's chops and stood by each other. Along the way, Dray's feelings morphed into more for Luce but he couldn't - and wouldn't - act on them because he didn't want to lose their friendship and he never saw Lucy return his feelings. This turned him into a manwhore because while he couldn't have what he wanted, his body still craved sex. But he had rules - it was purely physical and no kissing.

Until things go wrong and they are forced into living together while Luce's apartment gets fixed after it floods! And then it's a story of how two people find love and happiness.

Honestly I wanted more! It's told only from Dray's point of view but I wanted to see what Luce had been feeling all these years too. My preference leans toward dual POVs. And I felt like the story was told more than it was shown. I wanted more interactions of when they were younger and how they fell in love. There was so much angst and inner dialogue while I craved more interactions amongst the characters.

It was a good quick read! And I'm intrigued by the ending!

Not Bad, Not Great Either

I usually love this type of story but I didn't pick up on much chemistry between the H& h so the dynamic was lost. If there were more of a background story presented and I could've read about their relationship developing over the years, I may have noticed a spark between them. TBH, Dray didn't really have many redeeming qualities. I like stories that involve the camaraderie of brothers and he's basically an only child so I was disappointed in that aspect also. This is not a bad book but I didn't really think it was a great one either.

This book started soooo strong and had me all involved but then when they come together as an official couple dray instantly turned into a bitch of sorts. Still a good book, just cheesy in a lot of places.
