Kayla Itsines
Director

The Bikini Body Training Company Pty Ltd

I began my study in 2008 at the Australian Institute of Fitness.

Upon completing the AIF Master Trainer course, I began

working at a female-only personal training center in Adelaide,

South Australia. Soon after, I started my own business called

The Bikini Body Training Company Pty Ltd. and from there

it began! After such an amazing response to my business

in the first 6 months, I began to build an online presence via

Instagram and Facebook that essentially became my blog.

This is where I started to upload client transformations, healthy

eating ideas and some training tips for all the women I couldn’t

reach around the world.

In 2012, I also teamed up with my partners company, Fresh

Fitness Solutions (founded in 2011), so we could run boot

camps in order to service MORE women who wanted our

help. It is now 2013 and we pride ourselves on our bikini body

training, helpful nutrition guidelines and most importantly,

continuing to help our clients achieve incredible, life changing

results. Together, we hope to continue bringing life changing

experiences to more and more women around the world!

The Bikini Body Guide: Workouts is a part of the online e-book guides by the health and fitness blogger Kayla Itsines.

This short e-book in the Bikini Body Guide series contains a lot of the necessary information you’ll need if you’re aiming to change your lifestyle. It has information on how to track your progress and weekly breakdowns — but most importantly — suggested workouts schedules.

I highly enjoyed this book. The workout pages were both very nicely designed and executed. They were divided in different stages (weeks and days) and target areas. Not only that, but the pages also illustrated how each workout move is to be properly done. If some of the movements are difficult to understand because you’ve possibly never come across them before, there’s a glossary at the back where the movements are explained in words. This glossary is so-and-so in my opinion. They might be useful to people who are new to working out, but as I had no need for this, half of the Bikini Body Guide: Workouts was practically useless to me.

Kayla Itsines laid out the subject in a nicely matter. The workout plans are very realistic and more than doable. The information, as well as tips and tricks, at the back was very inspiring and helpful.

My harshest critisism to the Bikini Body Guides would be that it’s highly overpriced. There is no doubt that these guides are highly helpful and that I’ll take the information to heart and action, but $119 is a tough amount to get rid of. I suppose it all comes down to how badly you want it. If you’re ready to commit, I’d see no fault in investing in these e-books.

The information is definitely good and you see results fast but the workouts are really hard (but effective) and left me really sore.

Good for younger women with lots of workout experience

The work out is very high powered and as Kayla states in the book for an age range of 16-40. I would range it for 16-30. Some very risky exercises that could be potentially dangerous for the inexperienced participate. I can see how you would get results, but you need young healthy joints and a good sense of body awareness to do and sustain this type of workout. Kayla is very forthcoming that this program is not for beginners nor older adult women.
