If I thought Holly Woods was crazy before, I was wrong.

Devin is finally married. Nonna's on the wedding warpath. Drake might be getting ideas. His mom just dropped a bombshell, and Bek is caught between a hot as hell FBI agent and my super-sweet little brother.

And I still don't have the shoe closet Drake promised me when he moved in six months ago.

At least there's one positive: the old, abandoned Holly Woods Theater is about to reopen, and there's nothing like a theater opening to bring people together... And make crazy grandmothers forget proposal agendas.

Until that theater comes with a dead body. A very, very, very dead body.

Chaos is coming to town.

Everything I've ever known about Holly Woods might just be about to change.

Wow. Wow. Wow. Simply wow!

description I’m a lot unstable, but in all the right ways. It’s part of the reason why you love me.

To say Drake and Noelle are my all time favourite couple... Well, that is just the understatement of the year!

I don't know how Emma does it, but once again she delivered another jaw dropping book in the Holly Woods Files Series and I can't even begin to tell you how engrossed I was in this book. The queen of opening lines striked again! The book opens to a bone-chilling chapter and it got me hooked from the very first word. The premise that Hart built from just the Prologue was so mysterious, dark and to a point screamed about something heinous even before it was mentioned.

I devoured each word, sentence and pages. I just could not put it down!

Twirled Bond delivers the mystery, intrigue and love ten-fold. There were moments I was shocked at the revelations relating to the case. There were moments I was smiling because of the sheer amazing-ness of the characters. There were moments I literally held my breath because there so much love! And as is the case with this series , I tried to guess who the killer was and you know what... I did get it right! I mean, I feel so accomplished in getting the killer right and that too in the first guess!

Emma, as in the previous books, didn't leave any breadcrumbs that could easily lead to the killer. There was not a single thing that pointed towards the killer because any evidence that DID point to him was tampered by the victim itself. You see... If you want to guess who the killer is, that is exactly what you will have to do. You have to guess or better yet go with your instinct.

description Droelle is like the ultimate relationship goal. If you were on Instagram, you’d even have your own hashtag and everything. Even Twitter would feature you on one of those stupid at-relationship-underscore-goals accounts.

The book hasn't come far only in terms of its plot and the mystery but also in the relationships of the Bond family. Every relationship, every character has matured so much since the first book. Especially Drake and Noelle and Nonna and Noelle.

Drake and Noelle are my absolute favorite of the Hart's couples and to watch them grow together and see such a different side of their relationship that was full of understanding and love. *sigh* It made my heart so happy. I just simply love everything about Drake and Noelle and what their relationship stands for. The banter, the love, the understanding, the chemistry and throw in the real-ness of their relationship it is pretty damn perfect. With these two I always want more, no matter what.

And Nonna! OMG! Nonna and Noelle, I can't even. Their relationship was at it's best!

Twirled Bond was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. It is just so well thought out and planned, theories after theories, my head was spinning!

This book is PERFECT and if Emma had planned to end this right here, I would not have minded but given the fact that I am sucker of anything Holly Woods Files... I want it all! And the last two chapters and that ending?! That ending was everything and so much more!

description It’s in my job description. Noelle Bond, private investigator extraordinaire, cupcake lover, shoe whore, and Drake Nash’s pain in the ass.

5+ Stars!

Noelle and Drake are back and with more craziness, hotness, and a dead body. Things have been going well for Noelle and Drake but it wouldn’t be Holly Woods without another murder to solve. These two have been together for a year now, and have been living together for six months, so they are pretty serious. But that isn’t enough for Nonna. She wants them to be married. Will they be able to solve this murder all while dealing with the craziness that is Nonna?

I loved this book. The Holly Woods Files series is one of my favorites. It just keeps getting better. Drake and Noelle know each other so well and they know how to handle each other. This murder mystery had me captivated and—as always—trying to figure who actually did it. I thought I knew for a while, then changed my mind and then, in the end, realized I had it figured out—but not all the details.

I love how these books are a mystery, but that’s not the only thing they are. There is also such a great story about Noelle and Drake’s relationship. The ending to this book had me so happy. While I am super excited to get Bek’s book next (Team Brody all the way), I am also kind of sad that Noelle and Drake will be getting their last book after that. I’m not ready for this series to be over! I look forward to reading more books by Emma Hart. ~ Leah, 5 stars

#TeamDroelle is the perfect combination to make me both laugh so hard my abs hurt and run fast for cupcakes, all while hoping to find my Drake along the way! But seriously though, I’m not sure if I have more of girl crush on Emma Hart, the author of Twirled Bond, or Noelle, who is pretty much perfect.

Or, at least, in my world she is. She’s hot, funny, has a bang-up shoe collection, loves cupcakes and Betty, and is from TEXAS! Seriously, that’s perfect. And then there is DRAKE! I mean, holy hotcakes Batman, he’s a walking wet dream! The epitome of Tall, Dark and Handsome.

And we can’t forget Nonna and Gio! “Hot Wench! Hot Wench!” Hahahaha. Make sure to be prepared for the random stares if you’re reading this in public. You won’t even notice or care, though everyone else will wonder. Then SHOUT it from the rooftops!

She lets out a noise that’s halfway between a frustrated scream and a troll having an orgasm.

—I can barely type this because I’m laughing so damn hard! Who one earth thinks of this? And I need serious details, if you know anyone who’s heard a troll having an orgasm, because that’s totally epic!

Anything Ms. Hart writes is a sure thing for me. She can make me happy when I’m sad, and bright when I’m blue. I love trying to figure out the whodunnit of the Holly Woods Files series and Twirled Bond was just as amazing! ~ Heather, 5 Cupcake stars

“Droelle” is back in the next installment of the Holly Woods Files Series and this book does not disappoint!

Twirled Bond picks up six months after Tied Bond, and Holly Woods has been quiet, maybe a little too quiet. Noelle and Drake are living together, and seem to be getting along better than ever. I was so happy to see the two of them no longer at each other’s throats all the time, but acting as a normal couple, well as normal as these two can be. When a body if found, things quickly pick up and things get crazy in Holly Woods yet again.

What I particularly liked in this book was the first chapter, it was written from the victims point of view, and gave us information that the characters didn’t yet have. It was hard to read, but helps bring everything together as the story progresses. Finding bones in the soon to be reopened theater sparks HWPD into a tizzy, and no one is shocked when the presumed victim (Noelle’s best friend from high school Daniella, who went missing fifteen years ago) mom hires Noelle to investigate what happened to her daughter.

With Noelle on one side, and Drake and her brothers on the other, things get interesting, but having gone through this so many times before, Drake realizes it’s best to allow Noelle to work the case with him and the PD, and like always it’s Noelle who gets the most information and helps solve the case. Unlike the other books in this series, things aren’t as crazy, and there is no one out there trying to kill Noelle. Noelle does have a hard time with this case, because it hits close to home, being as though the victim is her long lost friend and the things she finds out are heartbreaking and horrible.

This story flows beautifully, and I loved the bits of advice that Noelle received from her mom and dad throughout this book. This book wasn’t just about solving the case, but for Noelle to figure out what she really wanted and I loved watching her decide what she wanted with Drake once and for all! I must admit though, I was a bit sad we didn’t get as much of Nonna in this book as others. She’s one of my favorite things about this series, so only seeing a bit of her made me a bit sad, but.. I have a feeling we will be seeing a great deal of her in Noelle and Drake’s next book!

I am definitely looking forward to October to finally read Bek’s story and see who she picks… will it be Jason the sexy FBI agent or Brody, Noelles brother and her close friend? All I know is, no matter who she picks, it will be an amazing story, just like all others in this series. Full of suspense, sexiness, and laughs!

If you haven’t started the Holly Woods Files series yet, you are definitely missing out on an amazingly written suspense series full of sex, drama, and a bunch of laughs. I highly suggest picking up a copy of this series TODAY and falling in love with “Droelle”.

FULL Review to come for Blog Tour..... I'll just say this for now....AMAZING!!! Emma has totally outdone herself with this book. It is my favorite of the series (so far). This book will hook you right from the beginning!!! This is definitely a MUST READ SERIES!!!

FULL REVIEW Now Posted::

Well Emma Hart out did herself with Twirled Bond!!! This has to be my all time favorite of this already amazing series!!

This review is going to be short and vague, but it’s the only way I can write it. I can’t talk about the storyline at all because anything I want to talk about would be a spoiler.

Twirled Bond is Emma Hart at her best. She gave us an intriguing and captivating storyline that immediately hooks the reader. I was sucked in from the first page and this story didn’t let go until it said The End. The pace and flow of this story was spot on and the twists and turns in this story will keep you guessing all the way through. I have to admit there were so many things that surprised me, that I said Holy Sh*t no less than 3 times. Every time I thought I had things figured out….everything changed ;)

As for Drake and Noelle’s storyline….Emma took off right from the end of the last book. We get more of their amazing banter and romance. I love the direction Emma has taken these two in. I grow more and more in love with both Drake and Noelle as their story unfolds. I fell like I am a part of their family.

As always we got more of Nonna’s crazy antics and what would a story be in this series if we didn’t get some more crazy Gio. I loved seeing all of Noelle’s family again.

Twirled Bond is the 5th book in the Holly Woods Files Series and is NOT a standalone novel. It is required to read the previous books. I say that, but just know that each book is a completed story. There are no cliffhangers when it comes to the storyline of each book, but it is a To Be Continued ending in regards to Drake and Noelle’s storyline. Which is why you need to read these books in order. I loved the ending of this book and can’t wait to see what craziness Nonna, Drake and Noelle will bring us in the next book.

This is definitely a MUST READ SERIES!!! If you love a great romantic suspense story, this is a series to check out….you won’t be sorry!!!

Twirled Bond is book 5 in the Holly Woods Files series and just when I think I can't love these characters more, Emma throws more humor, more sexiness and more suspense in the mix. You don't just become attached to the main characters, you love them all. Noelle and Drake of course, and her brothers, parents, staff, Bek, Jason and the list goes on and on. Noelle and Drake have been living together for six months and so far so good. Bek is dating Jason but can't seem to commit because she can't stop thinking about Brody(and Noelle isn't getting involved. Nope, no way). Nonna is on a marriage rampage and Drake and Noelle are at the top of her list. Drake's mom has some big news and they just discovered a skeleton that's been buried for more than 10 years. When it's a possibility the remains are a high school friend of Noelle's, she's brought in on the case. It's more emotional than she thought. Discoveries are made and the details of the case are weighing on everyone. Even through the sadness and witness interviews, Drake and Noelle find time to love each other. Oh, they still fight, but it's more love than hate. It's about the shoe closet she wants and his clothes on the floor. The heat is still top notch and the emotional love is rising. Will Nonna's pushing cause Noelle to shut down? Will this case be too much for Noelle and Drake to handle? I love this couple. They are one of my favorite couples of all time. I just know when I open a Holly Wood Files book I'm in for a literary treat! I can't wait for Bek's story! Psst…I still can't pick between Brody and Jason :).

"I love every crazy part of you, bella."
"I hate when you do that."
"Do what?"
"Call me bella. You know I can't stay mad at you when you say that."
Slowly he grins. "I know."

Drake's my safe place. If he were coordinates on my map, he'd be zero zero, zero zero. He'd be the center of it all, the only place where there is nothing but him.

Noelle Bond is back, but this time, Emma Hart gives readers Noelle’s “kickass softer side,” the part of her that she tries to keep hidden because she thinks it makes her weak, but I have to agree with Drake because he believes Noelle’s heart is what makes her a fantastic private investigator because her investment means that she’ll do what ever it takes to get things done and find the answers that both her client and she need in order to move forward and find some peace.

The case in Twirled Bond is not Noelle and Drake’s typical investigation. It still takes twists and turns throughout the storyline, but Noelle’s investment is much more emotional; she still follows her gut and uses her thirst for knowledge to gather the necessary information and put the clues together, but the suspense is a bit milder than the other books and the focus is more on Noelle’s attempts to juggle all aspects of her life and still keep a level head in order to help solve a very personal case.

Droelle is out in full force in Twirled Bond, and while Drake and Noelle still have their arguments and still butt heads when they work the same case, they definitely have reached a good place in their relationship. Not only do readers get to see how big Noelle’s heart is and how much she cares for her family and friends, even when she tries not to get in the middle of everything, we also get to witness the tender moments between Drake and Noelle. The times that they are simply there for each other, giving one another exactly what they need when things get too stressed and too overwhelming. Drake and Noelle may seem like an unlikely couple but they work because their personalities complement each other, balance one another out and they have what it takes to stay happy and in love because they are 100% invested in what they have.

A Holly Woods Files book isn’t complete without Nonna’s crazy antics to marry her grandchildren off in order for them to stop living in sin or Gio’s colorful greetings to everyone who enters Noelle’s parents’ house. There’s also a side story line that deals with Bek’s conflicted feelings, which is the perfect set-up for Book 6 - Burning Bond.

I absolutely love this series! The driving force of each book is Noelle and her need for answers when it comes to a case that just won’t seem to be solved. Surrounding that plot line is a great look into relationships - both familial and friendships. The Bond family absolutely has each other’s back, even though they seem to fight more than anything else, and the bonds that Noelle has formed with the people who work for her as well as Drake continue to pull me in, in each book because besides solving the case, I’m always eager to see what drama and mystery Emma Hart delivers along the way.

3.5 stars ARC Review

They say that change is good, right? It's boring to eat the same foods over and over. It's staid to vacation at the same place every year. It's confining to wear the same clothes every day. Change can be good for a series as well, just as long as the author retains that which makes the books so special. I like the Holly Wood Files series for it's brash and sass. I like Noelle's fly-by-the-seat-of-your-pants craziness. In other books, I might find her behavior annoying, but the author balances her with Drake in such a way, that I find Noelle's actions are mostly endearing. Because of these things, this book is surprising. It lacks the antics that I find amusing. I feel like I waited the whole book for something to happen.

"Yet it all seems...dull."

At at times, so did this book. This story focuses more on Noelle being mindful of her risk-taking and more considerate of Drake's feelings about engaging in behavior that puts her life on the line. She acts more mature. Normally, I applaud that kind of character growth, but I'm wondering if Ms. Hart dialed it back too far.

I appreciate the increased focus on the relationship between the hero and heroine. I love getting more of Drake. We get to know him better, taking a deeper dive into his character. Dealing with a family tragedy with his father, Drake confronts some of his own deep seated insecurities. Noelle gets to step up and this time, be the emotional support for Drake. It is a nice development.

Most of Noelle's crazy family and friends make a brief appearance again, but I keenly feel their absence. Nonna is Nonna and she is in rare form, but her brothers do not have much presence in this book and I wish their stories could be developed further. The same can be said about her best friend, Bek, and the other employees in her detective agency.

"If I have to be crazy, then, bella, I wanna be crazy with you."

Though a nice read, it is missing that special spark that characterizes the earlier books. Perhaps, we can get just a dash of more crazy in future books.

This is just as hysterical, snarky and entertaining as the other two in the seires. Emma hart has created a character in Noelle that is fun, sassy, sexy and smart. I love the banter between her and her family but especially her relationship with Drake. And nona is awesome. This series is gold.

Here Noelle is trying not to get involved in many pies. Pies one of her favorites up there with cupcakes for her. She is trying to stay out of her brother Brody’s love life, get Drake to finish her shoe closet and solve a murder/disappearance.

Here and Drake are perfect together. He keeps her in check and loves her with all that he has. She keeps him with Nona’s food and tells him like it is. They make a great team in and out of the sheets. When he is assigned a murder/disappearance it is Noelle and her not so legal ways that help him ferret out clues and figure everything out.

The interactions with Noelle’s family are still a hoot but it is Nona that cracks me up the most. That woman is too much. I hated to see Drake on the outs with his mom but at the end we see what is going on and I hope that somehow him and his mom can get past it all especially with what is happening with his father. I was hoping they would make it to Vegas but alas work called.

This was a great next book in the series. Emma hart continued the fun banter between Noelle and her employees, the snarky banter between Noelle and Drake but also their love ran deep, and the fun craziness that is Noelle’s family was seen in spades as well. the story is lighthearted when needed and serious when warranted. Each character is fun and sassy and I love the reappearance of our sexy FBI agent. I do hope he gets a HEA in this series but I also hope Brody does as well. The murder was intriguing and it was nice to see Noelle not be in danger this time. A truly great entertaining book with love, snark and sexy times. Looking forward to the next in the series.

I loved this one!! Drake and Noelle's relationship has come a long way since the first book.

They both still have their fiery personalities. Noelle is still sassy as ever and Drake is still as cocky and confident but together they're unbreakable. It was refreshing reading them actually getting along while they work on a case together. And Noelle's previous habits of keeping things from Drake has improved so much and I think that's why they worked so well together in Twirled Bond.

The family dynamic will forever be my favourite aspect about these books. Their love for each other is strong. And they pick on each other the only way your families know how to. And Nonna. Nonna was actually very likeable here!! She's still crazy but she wants what is best for her grandchildren and it's actually very cute. I still hate the bird. I'm with Noelle on that. (Ha)

As for the mystery, suspense factor I thought that was done really well. Usually I can guess who the killer is or who's behind what - I can guess a twist and turn quite easily. With this one.... I did see some of the twists coming but there was one were I was like well wtf is going on there.

I'm excited for Bek and Brody's story but i'm also not because... love triangle. I can feel it and I am not a fan of Love triangles. But nonetheless I'm still going to give there story ago because Brody seems like a sweetheart. I cannot wait for Droelle's (ha) next book and see how their dynamic changes (or stays the same).

Ok this is a continuation of the Hollywood Files series. I am a huge fan of this series because of the mystery/suspense style of the series but also love every single one of these characters. They are larger than life and completely take you over and then when the book ends they leave you with a huge hole in your heart where they were while you were reading the book.

This book focuses less on the suspense aspect of the series, it is still there but it is less of a key feature than it has been in previous books in the series but it focuses more on the development of the characters. The way the characters have developed over the series has been amazing to watch and this book needs to be read in conjunction with the others to truly get the development within the book. I loved the way that Noelle and Drake are learning to live and work together but also that the side characters are also developing and moving the story line on as well.

I'd definetly recommend reading the others first before taking this one on but if you are looking for a well written book in the middle of a series then look no further than this one!

After kind of a slow start, it gets back to the enjoyable series antics. Thankfully, Nonna, cupcake devotion and gun craziness are all toned down in the latest installment.

Drake is still dreamy. Noelle is softening a bit, but she is still a badass. The supporting characters are given a bit more spotlight, but I believe that is to set up the next book.

The mystery, however, is a bit of a disappointment this time. There really wasn't much action.

I can say I did like the development of the relationship between Noelle and Drake. It is satisfying to see characters actually working toward something real rather than be frozen in the same situation book after book. I love how they both are devoted to making each other happy and don't focus on sabotaging each other to avoid any semblance of a HEA.

I look forward to the next book.

4.5 magical mystery stars!

Murder, mystery, intrigue, suspense, love, sex, sass and SO MUCH MORE makes up Twirled Bond, the 5th installment of the Holly Woods series.

Filled with the humour and hotness that we've previously come to expect with the Holly Woods series, Emma once again takes Drake & Noelle on a new thrill ride that fully captivated my attention, made me laugh and ultimately stole my heart.

Each book in the Holly Woods series, is fresh but continues perfectly from the one before! If you enjoy a suspense filled, romantic comedy, with intrigue and intensity then this book, this whole series is for you!

I was in a bit of a book funk when I began this book so it took me a while to get into the storyline. But as usual it takes Nonna to shuffle her way in and boom here we go and I love it. It's the usual antics in Holly Woods Texas and the Bond gang is as crazy as we know them to be with an extra dose form Gio the dirty mouth parrot. Your head will reel with the mystery of trying to solve another murder while swooning over Drake and Noelle's relationship and how much they have matured. This series gives us drama, fun, family and love all wrapped in one crazy package and am loving it!

I’m literally hooked on this series, I can not stop reading and after I finish a book, I can’t help but want to pick up the next one. Emma Hart has done a good job at making sure you’re addicted to reading these books once you get a taste of them. Each book grows and you can see that, the story just keeps getting better and you can’t help but have your favourites when it comes to choosing who you like most out of the characters. There’s always a lot going on, but honestly with how Emma has wrote them, everything always ties together. Nonna is slowly becoming a favourite and I can’t help but laugh every time she is brought up in the story. She should seriously have her own books because I can see a lot happening with her. Drake and Noelle are still going strong as ever but there’s a few setbacks that cropped up and Drake needs time to deal with. This book was extremely interesting because we end up going back into the past and seeing how things were for Noelle when she was only fifteen-years-old. I have no idea what will happen next but I’m hoping everything goes according to plan and maybe Nonna may have actually changed….. just a little, but then again if she changed and reigned in a little then she wouldn’t be her. Emma did a great job with this one and it’s well worth the read.

Noelle and pretty much everyone in town are dragged back into the past as it’s the fifteen-year anniversary marking the disappearance of Daniela, a close friend of Noelle’s…. No one knows what happened back when she went missing but her parents are still waiting for answers but little does the town realise that the answers are right in front of them when a body is found and after a visit from Daniela’s mom, Noelle is torn as what to do because part of her wants to get involved but at the same time it’s a personal one to her. Will she figure out if it’s best to take on Daniela’s mom’s request or will she put it aside as she feels like she won’t like what she finds?

Like strong willed, mouthy heroines? Well Noelle Bond is your girl. She is a Texan with Italian blood raised in a family of cops.

This series follows Private Investigator Noelle Bond and Police Detective Drake Nash throughout the series. Their relationship advancement is ongoing throughout each book but the murder/murders that are investigated are solved by end of that book.

Book 5 and I am still loving these characters even more.. Drake and Noelle have been living together for 6 months.. Other than he seems incapable of putting his clothes in the hamper Noelle is digging this cohabitation thing.. And things have been quite in Holly Wood during those 6 months. Not one murder. Well nothing last forever.....

This book still had it fair share of laugh out loud moments but it also had plenty of gut-wrenching emotional ones. Holly Woods has only ever had 1 person go missing and that was over 14 years ago. She was a good friend of Noelle's in school. When the local theater, that's been closed for just as long, remodels for a grand reopening a body is found sealed in a room. Everyone knows who it is but its the heartbreaking investigation into what happened before her death and who was responsible that tugs at your emotions.

During this book Bekah (Noelle's BF along with fellow PI) has had enough of being in the middle of a tangled love triangle with FBI Agent Jason Walters and Noelle's brother Brody. This sets up the next book in the series which will be from her POV...

*5 stars*
I have to honestly say this is the first book in this series I have read. I was unsure in the beginning reading this book but slowly found my way. I absolutely loved it! the banter, the emotion and just the story really gripped me! I read it in one sitting so that's just one more thing how much I enjoyed and loved reading this one. and now I want to read every other book in this series 'cuz I truly enjoyed this one. Really loved Drake and Noelle together. there's more to their story and even more in the story that is being told, but I won't spoil it :-)

I'm not really familiar with the authors books but I'm slowly discovering them and I gotta say her writing is what draws you in. Very excited for everyone to read this one, especially if you have read the others in this series, you'll be blown away...

Noella and Drake did it again. 5 Stars from me.

I really liked that we got to see the victims point of view in this book too. Even though it was just a few pages.

Noelle and Drake are such a sweet cupple I get cavaties reading about them. This series shows brilliantly how a cupple can live happily ever after.

The crime itself was better then the last one. I had the right idea. But there are so many plottwists and lies and secrets in this case, that I doubtet my theories so often, my head hurt. In a good way. Sadly the ending of the case was a little lacking in my tast.

But the book did not end with the case. There was still drama and an event concerning Nonna I would have never believed to be possible.

The story is very entertaining and captivating. Worth the read. Definetly.

"I know, it's in my job description., Noelle Bond, private investigator extraordinair, cupcake lover, shoe whore, and Drake Nash's personal pain in the ass."

Twirled Bond revolves around a cold case one wouldn't like to stumble upon willingly - basically it is a taboo topic, though this shit is just awful how the death occured and got obscured. I can't write a long review about this as I might give away too much of the storyline.

Though we do see the beginnings of Bek's love chaos, the drama of the parrot Gio, an emotional Noelle, protective brothers and the meanings of family. This was pure.

I didn't see this one coming but I'm not totally surprised. Even though I enjoyed this book there were a lot of holes that I would have liked the author to fill.
Is there more to what is going on with Drake and his father?
What was going on with Dori and whoever?
What was the point of keeping the secret? Why was the abuser doing it? Power? Revenge? Being able to control a situation? or just a sick bastard?
There is nothing dull in this town that is for sure. I'm still confused as to how Noelle is the one who has cracked every case and the detectives just wait for whatever she can give them before they actually do anything to solve the cases.
