I have read all of Ramona Gray's books, and I have loved every single one. I have frequently shared with friends that she is one of my favorite authors.

I wasn't even aware this book had been released until I happened to go to Ramona Gray's goodreads page and noticed it on her list of books. I ordered it immediately. Unfortunately, there were too many characters in this book for my taste. Unlike the previous three Other World Series books, it is important to have read the others beforehand.

Wow! Ramona Gray has dazzled her readers yet again with Rescued By The Wolf, the fourth book in her spellbinding Other World Series and I just can't seem to get enough! I love it! I first started reading Gray's work a little over a year ago and now I eagerly await each new release! I started out with the first book in this amazing series, The Vampire's Kiss and was instantly smitten! I didn't think it was even possible but the second book was even better than the first! Gray continued her momentum in the third release of this enchanting series and Book Four, Rescued By The Wolf is, hands down, my favorite book to date. This series just gets better and better! I'm a fan for life! Although Books One and Two end with cliffhangers, I definitely feel that Book Three could be read as a stand alone without first reading Books One and Two but I would highly recommend reading all three before reading this release. Although the author does a marvelous job of including a sufficient amount of backstory in this book, it's my personal opinion that you should definitely read the books in order. The story is exciting, thrilling, original, imaginative, action packed, fast-paced, romantic, sensual and very arousing. The narrative is exceptionally well crafted and well written in the third person with multiple points of view which is a lot of work for an author but is so worth it for the reader enabling us to better understand and empathize with each of the primary characters included in this story. And there are quite of few since the storyline and characters from Book Two, The Vampire's Love, and Book Three, The Shifter's Mate, intersect and merge in this story. And it was done brilliantly! The dialogue is smart, well executed, seductive, flows effortlessly and is, at times, laugh out loud funny. The characters are fascinating, captivating, intriguing, engaging and sexy as sin. An intriguing plot and a cast of engaging characters are both vital in the creation of a great book but it's the craftsmanship and artistry that also draws me into a story and Ramona Gray has indeed encompassed every aspect necessary in order for me to truly love and enjoy her books. This story truly does have it all! Gray skillfully combines every single one of these elements to create a spellbinding paranormal tale filled to the brim with heart-stopping danger, heart-pounding drama, spine-tingling adventure, heartbreaking angst and heartwarming romance. I was totally enthralled from beginning to end! Once you start reading, you won't be able to stop!
As I stated earlier, this book does include all of the primary characters from Books Two and Three but the story revolves primarily around handsome wolf shifter Radek and sweet, inexperienced human Sara. Sara is separated from her group of friends when they are drawn into a strange round ball of electrical energy which appears without rhyme or reason but seems to be some sort of wormhole which transports everyone to an alternate world. Sara has no idea where she is or how she arrived but realizes she must try to find her friends. Shortly after her arrival she is attacked by several vicious bird-like creatures but fortunately is rescued by a large terrifying wolf who changes into a very handsome and very naked man. What? Oh my! Sara has never witnessed such a creature but after escaping a very cruel vampire who killed her family and abducted her from her village, she knows that anything is possible. Unfortunately, the wolf seems more willing to help than the man who wants nothing to do with the weak, fragile human female. Radek hates all humans as a result of an earlier horrifying experience and is determined to ignore his wolf and the human, but Sara has been injured, is nearly naked and freezing, and collapses as a result of her injuries. So, what's a wolf shifter to do??? Why rescue her, of course, and finally offer to help her! But the sweet virginal Sara is totally unfamiliar with the kind of help Radek is offering! And just what kind of help does Radek offer sweet Sara? It's repulsive and such a burden but he is willing to debase himself in order to teach her how to kiss, strictly for her benefit of course, so that she will be more experienced in order to attract a mate who can protect her in this strange new world. Oh my goodness! Yes, obviously, Sara did just fall off the turnip truck and it's totally sexy and hilarious! Radek is determined to deny his attraction for the innocent, inexperienced Sara but his wolf is determined to have her, and Sara, well, she just wants to find her friends.......and seduce Radek! Oh my! Let the games begin! Who will win in this seductive war of wills? Radek? His wolf? Or Sara? And will Sara ever find her friends? We'll see! No spoilers from me but I will say this......Handsome, opinionated and very stubborn wolf shifter-check! Beautiful kindhearted heroine from another world who is innocent, totally clueless and a virgin-check! A large wonderful cast of supporting characters that will steal your heart including a very adorable pixie named Violet-check! A few other people finding their mates as well-check! Will that include one very hedonistic vampire named Faren-you'll have to wait and see! Danger, drama, adventure and horrifying enemies-check! A little humor, a lot of angst and a very large measure of steamy sex and dreamy romance-you bet! That and a whole lot more! Fabulous entertainment and an awesome read! And I was so thrilled to learn at the back of the book that there will be a Book Five entitled Claiming Quinn. I can hardly wait! ...more

I love this series!! I loved how this book brings all the characters from previous books together and tries them together beautifully!! I loved getting to know new things about the old characters that you already love from the previous books in the series!! I am glad that Sara and Radek got there story!! Can't wait for the next!!

I have been a fan of the Other World Series from the beginning, but Rescued by the Wolf took the series to a whole other level. I love the interactions between Radek and Sara. The tension, and denial ratcheted up my anticipation for when they would finally be together. The sex is hot and will have you reaching for your partner in multiple scenes. Fans my face. I love the world that has been created by Ramona Gray, and the characters are wonderfully written and complex. Sara and Radek's story, while sexy and fast-paced, was also deeply satisfying at the end of the book. I enjoyed that Sara learned to be strong and protect herself, while Radek came to terms with his past and learned that some things are more important. This is a great read and I recommend the entire series!!
