A neighbor passed an entire box of these Crystal Creek books to me years ago, and I dutifully read them all. I believe I liked this one, about a woman faking her death to escape an abusive husband. It was like a tv movie without the commercials....

I thought it was a pretty good read...I liked that it was dealing with a real issue such as stalking but I think it could have been better. All in all it was a nice read.

Dalton has been nominated for a Romantic Times Career Achievement Award and for a Romantic Times Reviewer's Choice Award for Fourth Horseman. Her novel Another Woman was developed into a made-for-tv movie in 1994, starring Justine Bateman.
