This book is the 3rd of my top three favorite gardening books. This book explains how to build soil so the garden produces. My soil is awful here, so I'm excited to have a solution. The solution is mineral powders in a combination outlined in the book. Plants need 13 essential minerals, and by layering them on the soil (and then mulching on top like Lasagna Gardening or Gaia's Garden talks about)then the garden grows and is healthy no matter the soil.
