Have your tissues handy. I cried three times.
I have read a few in this series over many years.
This one is definitely top notch and I hope many readers will discover this “hidden treasure” of an author.

Hero was captured and held by mid-Eastern badguys for eight years, presumed dead. Then he’s rescued by SEALS coming to rescue a fellow prisoner. His wife has never re-married, his daughter is 18 instead of 10, and he has to learn how to be free again. Lovely, lovely story.
