If you're into the supernatural with a bit of mystery and romance, this is definitely the book for you. At first you don't know if Nic Sloane is a character you could learn to like, but he soon grows on you, at least he did with me. I love Reese Alexander, there should be more books and movies with strong female characters, you could never have too many. At first she hates what she becomes, but then quickly embraces it when she realizes she could save lives. Overall, I enjoyed this book very muc

A good, solid read. It's difficult to splice a romance into what feels almost like a comic book hero. It kept me wanting more. I would have liked to have learned more about the characters backgrounds and how they came to be, but that just leaves more room for development in, what I hope, would be the coming episodes. A great book from an up and coming author.

What a fun ride!
This story reads like watching a really exciting TV pilot. There is a lot of characterization and world building that makes everyone and everything feel believable and fleshed out without slowing down the movement of the story. It's a great blend of action/adventure, steamy romance, conspiracy thriller and a little extra that I don't want to give away. Reese is relatable, human and an atypical and interesting heroine.
