Lots and lots of information, talks about most current scientific research studies. The notes of all the references and studies takes up perhaps the last 1/5 of the book, so you know where to go to actually read studies. A little deep at times, hard to absorb it all at once. Information about diet and supplements that help prevent/delay onset. About 50 pages about the role of family members, loved ones at home verses facilities, and how to deal with the stress of having a loved one with ...more

This book has a ton of information. Some of it was very redundant. It definitely would help someone that is a caregiver or thinks they may have the disease. It talks about the scientific side of what happens as the disease progresses and gives suggestions of how to slow that progress.
