I love everything that Susan Stoker writes and Justice for Corrie is no exception. This is the third book in the Badge of Honor: Texas Heroes series and like the others in the series can be read as a stand alone.
Quint is a cop with the San Antonio Police Department. Corrie is a chiropractor who happens to be blind. Corrie is a witness albeit through sound and smell to a crime in the office where she works. A few days after the incident Corrie is in a restaurant waiting to have lunch with her att ...more

Justice for Corrie was a satisfying read. It gives us a women who is blind, but has witnessed a murder.
Color me intrigued just from the blurb and this idea of a blind character. I’ve showcased Ms. Stoker on my blog and each time I tell myself I’m going to try one of her books. For those that know me CR is not my genre of choice, but I do like to give them a try now and then.

Another great read from this author. I loved Corrie and how strong and independent she was, even though she was blind. It was great to get to see several characters from her other books as well. Lots of alpha male, which I love as well!!! Can't wait for the next one!

*currently doing an audio reread on my drive to and from work. I love this author and this story but I'm struggling with the narrator. She is putting me to sleep.
Susan Stoker is an autobuy for me! I loved the seal series and the Badge of Honor series is proving to be a favorite as well. Susan writes a wonderful interesting story that includes that hot alpha who is protective and loving. It's never drama with om/ow, its always that hot guy sweeping in and saving his girl. Powerful in its simplicity…
Ever since I was a little girl and was intrigued with the story of Helen Keller, I wondered how people survived and thrived when they were blind. Life is hard, incredibly so, when you have all of your senses available to you. What happens when you don’t? What Susan Stoker has done here has blown away every myth that may have remained, and showed me exactly how a person who is blind is simply a regular person who just happens to not see…

Always nice to have characters in romance books that aren’t perfect! And especially ones where one of them deals with a disability. In one of the author’s other books I learned quite a bit about deafness and especially how hearing aids can sound to the person using them - something I had never given much thought to, but learned it wasn’t quite as easy as putting it in your ear and you hear! In this one, the female character is blind, having been born without eyes. It was very interesting learnin

I was impressed with Corrie as a self sufficient blind character. The regular routines and practical daily applications Stoker used showed thoughtful research in creating the character and gave a believable feel to the story. Top things off with a bit of suspense and romance and you’ll find a good read with this book!

Susan Stoker has done a fantastic job with this story, Corrie being blind must have made writing it a lot harder having to think more about descriptions and details. Research and help with this would have been very important, not just to get it right for herself and the character but so it was very clear for us the readers. I found it very informative on how a blind person can cope and be self sufficient, only needing help in a few areas, but also how the world is changing and more people with h

I really loved Corrie. I love a character who has a disability because it adds a depth to them. Overall, another great book for Susan Stoker! My full review will be on The Book Disciple

Justice for Corrie is my favourite book in this series so far! I loved that the heroine was blind from birth and it was fiercely real, not something that could be fixed and the Author wrote this into the story beautifully. Describing even the day to day tasks in detail so you could really understand how simple tasks are more complicated for Corrie and how important good communication is for her.

Wow...at least 10 stars!!!
Justice for Corrie is a kick ass, bad ass book just like she is. I can't even begin to describe how amazing this book is. Quint and Corrie are the most well rounded couple I've read in a long time. I could not put this book down. It is the quintessential Susan Stoker book. Bad ass alpha men with hearts of gold and the strong independent kick ass women they love. This book will hold your interest and enthrall you to the very end. I appreciated the depth of character give ...more

I couldn't get beyond the blind woman in a diner 'bumping into' a waiter even though she was being guided by someone and then telling someone she has never met before, who SAYS he is a cop, that she witnessed a murder and is in danger. And why the hell meet your lawyer somewhere public like that??
The writing was clunky, with major major info-dumps about her childhood and university and her blindness etc and the word 'adjusting' seeming to crop up every time her job was mentioned. Could the autho ...more

What an amazing book! I was hooked from page one. Corrie was born blind and survived a mass shooting at her work. Loved how she and Quint met, it’s so cute. He’s so protective immediately. Can he keep her safe? Loved getting to know how she deals with being blind and how he’s so good with her and understands she needs to know where items are. I was connected with the characters. I highly recommend this book.

Story starts slow, but hang in there very good plot and characters about a blind young woman
Who is a professional chiropractor (who would imagine that, although I am paralyzed on the right side
and have done gas station work plus filling up propane bottles one handed. So anything is possible).
And while she's at work a gunman walks in and starts shooting.
She hides and there the story begins..I loved this story.....this is just the bare basics
I don't want to give the story away.

An amazingly strong heroine. Susan Stoker writes about real women - not perfect ones. Her stories have depth and the characters are relatable. I enjoy all of her books for this reason. A definite must read for those looking for a story about the women of today, who face challenges head on.

I needed a book for a task called 'A book with a cover you hate' in BookRiot's 2018 Read Harder Challenge. When I saw this, I knew I had found my book. I'm not a fan of a naked male torso in a book cover and in my opinion this book has exceptionally tacky cover. Luckily this was free at the time. The awful, awful cover aside, the book itself sounded interesting enough and I wanted to read about a blind heroine. I don't stumble upon on them very often.

First, I want to preface my review by saying that I love every book from this author, but this book has a special place in my heart because of the heroine, Corrie. Corrie has been blind since birth and the way Susan wrote her character, as a strong, independent, fully functioning woman who has embraced life is beautiful. The reason this really speaks to me is because my Grandma was blind in one since her birth and I didn't know it until I was a teenager. That boggles my mind. Also, my husband, w
