An incredible tale written as a game of consequences - each section written by different celebrity authors. As a result this story is hilarious, unique and thrilling all at the same time , and every celebrity guest author shows their true brilliant colours within each of their own sections. The story of Fi-Rex, half-girl, half-dinosaur takes her on adventure like no other where she meets creatures and animals and strange beings on her quest to find the right way home. I read this to my Y2 class but the story was just too long, they lost interest and they were too young (!!!!!) to know who the celebrities were - INCLUDING ONE DIRECTION :O shocking!

I may be in love with Fi Rex! Between me and my three little girls, we all adored her and the different adventures she found herself in. It was a breeze to read at bedtime and they liked the other different characters who turned up - especially One Direction. I could take or leave the 1D boys but the book overall reminded me of telling stories with my friends when we were kids. Julia Patton's illustrations were delightful...Great, great fun.....

This was such a fun read! When this first came out, my mum really wanted it because Ronan Keating is one of the contributors. I don't know why but I never ended up getting her it until I saw it in a shop along with some other picture books I was picking up as gifts (for actual children) and bought it for my mum as a laugh. Of course, I read it before wrapping it! Got to make sure kids books are appropriate these days, eh? haha
