I waited ages for this book to be released over a year as that is when the first book in the series came out. Book two is outstanding.

I love revamps of fairy tales especially when they are really modern. Side note I loved the remake of Romeo and Juliet, with Leo and Claire and although I think Leo is very talented I’ve never really liked him in any other films.

But getting back to Snow’s Lament. This review is hard to write as there are so many things going on and with all the twists and turns

This is book 2 in the Fairytale League and can be read as a stand alone. This is a good concept of the fairytale characters Snow White, Cinderella, Robin Hood and Belle. Appearances by Merlin and the Wicked Stepmother are also big in the story. There is a lot going on but the author ties it all together fairly good. I enjoyed the story but you need to pay close attention as there are a lot of segways and side stories. I received a copy of this ARC in exchange for a fair and honest review.

“I will never be able to atone for the things I’ve done, regardless of whether or not I was compelled. But my love for you was true.”

Holy moly! And here I thought the first book of the series was too much for my poor heart....

Continuing sort of where we left off, we find Snow and her friends trying to find a way back home to the Enchanted Forest so that she can reclaim her kingdom. And possibly save Max. And her people. And... you know, maybe get rid of her evil stepmother?

Book Review- Snow’s Lament by S.E. Babin

Belle, Snow and Cinderella have been trapped at home for weeks with Robin. They have been searching for a way to open the portals. Nothing is working and information is not available. The only thing mentioned was the Chronicler’s Gem which Snow has. Just as they might unlock the gem, Rumplestilskin shows up stopping them. He agrees to help them back to the Enchanted Forest looking for the Chronicler, Simeon. He drops them right into Naomi’s clutches. He ta

I received an ARC of this story in exchange for an honest review.

Snow's Lament is a great adventure where the characters are all from the fairytales that we grew up on, such as Snow White, Cinderella, Rumpelstiltskin, and Beauty & the Beast. However, here they are all in the same "universe", and all have some sort of magical talent.

This is a wonderful adult re-imagining of the childhood fairy tales so many of us loved and remember. My only regret is that I didn't read the first book in the serie

Oh so much fun...

I really enjoyed it. So much so I read it in a day, which is quite the feat for me lately. :-) I just couldn't put it down.

Snow is trying to get back to the Enchanted Forest to wrest her kingdom from Naomi, her evil step-mother. Along this journey friends are ripped away, her lover continues to try to kill her and help comes from strange places. Interesting twists and revelations are revealed. But will Snow reclaim her kingdom and become queen? Or will Naomi finally succeed in k

Wonderful spin

I have read both books and I want more. I want to know about all the main characters and the roads that will lead to "world peace". Keep them coming.
