☆ I received an ARC via Enticing Journey PR in exchange for an honest review. Thank you! ☆

The third installment in the Black Shamrocks series, Seeking Redemption was basically what its title entailed. Seeking solace and resolve from life's spirals and influences.

This book was kind of a conundrum of emotion. Much more than its previous two predecessors.

It was about two souls finding from different spectrums colliding in more ways than once and finding love in between.

Benjamin O’Brien is an individual in power of his own destruction.
Lacey Marquis in an individual left at the mercy of another.

Both with demons of their own. And both with ramifications that they owe to Black Shamrocks MC, will they ever get on the club's good graces again while navigating through their own roadblocks and finding hope and redemption in the process?

A pretty great follow up in the BS MC Series that kept me intrigued and on my toes. The momentum is definitely going up in this series and so is the stakes. I'm certainly curious about where author Kylie Hillman is planning on taking things next and in what direction. Very interesting!

This is book three in the Black Shamrocks MC Series. Although this can be read as a standalone I certainly recommend you read the previous books first.

Benji and Lacey's story gripped me from start to finish. They are both broken and struggling from drug abuse.

Can they help each other fight the addiction and seek redemption from the club??

I loved the previous two books but this is definitely my favourite so far. It's a fantastic read full of emotion and angst.

Can't wait to see what else the author has up her sleeve:)

I a little bit conflicted on this book! While in the end I wanted to give it five stars I think I'm going to have to stick to 4. The author did a great job showing just how badly addiction can screw up, not only the addicts life, but the lives of those around them. She also did fantastic about letting the main characters take responsibility for their mistakes. Unfortunately there was just something about this book that I didn't connect with as I have the first two books in the series. Looking forward to the next book in the series! Looking forward to Timber & JJ's story!!!

What another great read.

Again I devoured this book within a day. The twists were just as crazy. And I loved it .

This is one amazing series. The author manages to shock me at every turn and keeping me on my toes.

I can't get enough. I am just so excited for the next book. I just love how each book picks right back up where the last one leaves off.

Give this series a read!

SOOOOO .. I have to admit I was on the fence on with this series but Kylie hit this one out of the park. Im so happy I stayed in.

Benji and Lacey … wow. These two are two freight trains colliding and plummeting each other into hell.

Benji is the son of the former President of the Black Shamrocks. He has become everything his father wanted. Benji has the football career, the scholarship and the way out of the club life. He is the chosen one according to everyone who sees him on the outside. On the inside he has a problem; a serious one; a one that involves drugs and whatever it takes to get them. Beast always wanted more for his son. An injury and his addiction lead to destroying him. The club never turns their back on family but Benji has used up all his chances … he has one more and he better get it right.

Lacey is the a shattered woman. The man she loved did nothing but betray her and the club. Maddi couldn’t help her. The love of her life abused her, used her and everything they had was a lie.
Pulling Benji down with her or Benji pulling her down with him .. who knows who took whose hand and brought them further into the depths of hell. Spiraling out of control getting clean and staying with your head above water is something that wont come easy. The easier choice would be to just drown and put yourself out of your misery. But maybe there is hope .. the question is how do you get there.

There is so much on these pages. What was apparent is the message that is being sent to us through these two tragic characters. Drug abuse is life shattering. The words Im quitting or Im cutting back and I can stay clean are just that .. words. Getting clean and staying there is an entire different story. An abuser will tell you whatever you want to hear to cover their use and their lies. Don't give up and don't walk away. You may be their last hope.

I was happy to see and hear from previous characters which made me appreciate them more. There are still stories to be told and if they are as great as this one, we are in for a treat. Thank you Kylie for the ARC! I really loved this release. Review to post to Ramblings From Beneath The Sheets.

This is the third book in Kylie Hillman's Black Shamrocks' MC series, and although it is told a little bit differently than the first two, the topic is none the less important. Drug use and abuse can and does effect everyone. Benji is the golden boy, the son of the former President of the Black Shamrocks - he has everything - the scholarship, the football career, and an out of control drug problem. But Benji isn't the only one - Lacey is his twin sister's best friend, a nurse, the former old lady to a traitor of the MC.

Secretly, they've taken comfort in each other's arms and have begun the spiral of drug abuse together. It's a decent that could leave them both dead. But if they can both get clean, will there be anything between them? Getting clean and staying clean are two different things. When the guilt and the pain comes out, these two must separate until they are both ready to face the consequences of betrayals neither one wants to face.

I've loved both of Kylie's books, but this one - this one blew me away. The feelings of not just one person going through the turmoil of drugs, but two distinct personalities was eyeopening. She brought the real dangers of meth use in people that were everyday. The emotions of watching someone you love promise you over and over that they can quit anytime; and knowing their thoughts as they are lying was heart-wrenching; and added a new dimension to this series. 5-stars.

Black Shamrocks MC Seeking Redemption is the third book in this series. Benji is the son of the MC's president Beast. Benji's footy career is over due to his injuries and addictions. Lacy was Maddi's best friend and is left broken by a man who abused her. Together they find comfort in each other and their addictions. Thanks to the help of her parents, Lacy ends up in rehab and Benji falls deeper into his path of self destruction. I thought this was a great story of two lost souls who find each other, lose each and yet find their way back together to seek redemption for the club. Lacey's story breaks my heart and Benji's posses me off, but it's hard not to fall for his smartass charm. I'm a sucker for a good MC book and I can't wait to see what Kylie comes out with next.

She grows on you. Her writing getting better with every book !
In this book , we see Benji Adulting . He is lost in a haze of meth induced fog and his partner in crime -Lacey , are both bouncing on the walls and hurting each other. A powerful story which brings clarity to Lacey and Benji and he sets on a path to right the wrongs he has committed. Seeking redemption for his sins. Very well written. Some wonderful characters and a Purple haired kick ass girl named Andi.

This book shows us the lives of a couple addicted to the use of Meth. The author tells us "Ill never be able to explain the rush of warm heat that engulfs my body when I smoke Meth.
Its like liquid euphoria flows through my veins ,relaxing my mind but hyping my body all at once.
All my aches and pains disappear.
Happiness and contentedness floods me, and all of my quilt, my worries, and my problems take flight." This book has Murder, Drug Addiction, Prison, Abuse, Betrayal, and Lies. And how lives go on in spite of devastation.

Seeking Redemption by Kylie Hillman was a great 5 star read.

This is Lacey and Benjamin's story told in alternating POV.

Benjamin’s footy career is over due to his addictions and actions.
Lacey was left broken by the man she thought was the love of her life.
These two look to each other for support in a dangerous and deadly way. And almost succeed in losing themselves in the process.

There comes a time when you have to admit defeat, when the only thing left to do is throw your hands in the air, and say “That’s it! I’m done.”

Lacey ends up in rehab and Benji spirals deeper because he is denied access to Lacey. He realizes that the feelings that he kept fighting were actually real and needs Lacey back in his life.

When Lacey comes back after four months she pulls Benji out of his darkness. Both Benji and Lacey decide to face their secrets head on and look for redemption from the club. Will they be able to make things right? Will the club allow them back in after their deception is revealed?

It’s time to set the beginning of the end into motion.

This is a great story about two lost people looking to be saved from their demons. They hit rock bottom and look for the strength to get back up. There is no cliffhanger but I wouldn’t mind seeing a little more from these two. This is book 3 in the Black Shamrock MC series, which I highly recommend you 1-click and get started reading. Thank you Kylie for another great read.

“I need a hit. I need more than a hit. I need the sweet oblivion of getting higher than a kite. I need to forget about every single person I care about. Caring has only ever brought me pain.”

5 redemption stars!!! I’m hooked on this series and I don’t care who knows it!! It’s dangerous, sexy and emotionally gripping!

I swear everytime I read one of these books I think that one is my favorite. But after reading this one, I know now for certain this is by far my favorite one! You have two broken characters in Ben and Lacey and when they come together is like fireworks. It’s electric almost, but as you’re reading you feel for these two and their story. It’s so emotional and dramatic. If you haven’t read this series or book, what are you waiting for….go grab them now!!!

We're talking about Benji and Lacey in this book. We start out with the aftermath from the ending of book two, with Benji waking up in the hospital bed. His father, Beast, is there with him and saying really cryptic things to him that he is not catching on to. Eventually he figures out a couple of things and Beast leaves. Enter Lacey, who gives Benji the low down on what happened at his house and how his arm got broken. What all does Beast have in the works, that he wants Benji to prospect to the club? Does Benji want that at all? I used to feel sorry for Benji, and Lacey. Now, with everything that has happened with those two, Connor, Sherri, and the Mavericks of Mayhem, I'm just angry at Benji and his selfishness. Angry at Beast for not seeing what everyone else sees and turning a blind eye to it. Ticked as all get out at Lacey for her role in all this as well. Man alive. I'll likely be seeing red before this book is finished. Okay, once Benji starts doing the right thing and Lacey fesses up to some things that she should have fessed up to in the first place, I'm feeling a little better about the pair. As things start to unfold, before Mad Dog's trial, I'm actually cheering the two on, hoping they can actually make it right. If you want to find out what happens, you're going to have to read the book!

Another great installment in the Black Shamrocks series

This is Benji and Lacy's story, and you really want to read the first two books in the series first or you're going to be missing out on a lot of background. The third story of five planned for the Black Shamrocks, like the first books there are a series of flashbacks so we see some of the events that set-up the current situation interspersed with present events. This is one of the few authors I've seen to use the technique effectively and without the disconnects I usually experience from multiple time switches.

I thought the author did a great job of depicting characters struggling with addiction, including what they get from the drugs and all the temptations that go along with trying to stay sober. I have to admit that I was wondering how Benji was going to redeem himself and whether I was I going to be able to connect to a character I have so little in common with, but I should have known better. I really did identify with these characters, because who hasn't had moment where you wished you could just forget all about your problems for a little while?

Lots of interesting characters, nice pacing, and little plot twists kept things interesting while I really like the balance we get from the satisfaction of the HFN for the current couple while still continuing to leave questions open for the following books. Another 5 star read for me and I continue to look forward to the next books in the series.

Kylie Hilman once again flawlessly executes a dark, gritty MC experience. The way this book perfectly stands apart from any other MC book, but still intertwines within this series is a testament to Kylie's writing skills.

While Seeking Redemption is a standalone of sorts, truly the whole series is so amazing that it should be consumed as a whole. While focusing mainly on Benji, son of the ex MC president, and Lacey, it still feeds you enough of the previous stories that you never feel like you're left hanging.

I had a bit of a harder time adjusting to Lacey as a main character, feeling slightly disconnected from her story, but I feel as though her story arc through the book was powerful and complete, however at the end I came to enjoy her story.

Oh... and who can complain about more Timber!!!

I loved the first two books in the series and this one is no exception... I really wanted to see if Benji could redeem himself and change his ways, since his addiction caused so much trouble for his sister and his family.
If to Benji addiction you add Lacey’s addiction and their betrayal..you know you're in for a ride!
I didn't particularly care for Benji..as in I was neutral when it came to him..I was mad because of his selfishness but I realised as well that the addiction was playing a part in it.
Two lost souls together... recipe for disaster? Or can they help each other and in doing that save each other?
I found it really emotional..not only it made me feel a lot, but it made me feel negative emotions too..and it's a great thing, at least for me. .Because if I react in such a strong manner it means that the story and the characters are important.
I am rambling lol..Anyway another great story...can't wait to read more from this author!

I was give an ARC for an honest review (there may be borderline spoilers here!)

I was so excited to finally get Benjis story. His cocky attitude and I couldn't wait to see how Kylie was going to pull his head from his ass. She did it. Poor Benji had to go through hell to get to where he is by the end of this book. Lacey poor girl. She's been through hell over her time with the people in her life. From the highs and lows and just wanting love that feels like a high she gets it how ever she can. For the two of them to go on this ride of highs, lows, the secrets and lies to cover there addiction is something most people don't understand. Addiction makes people do crazy things and turn them into different people. I wish there was more interaction between Benji and Lacey high and even sober but I loved this story.

“I’m a cunt. An A-grade, fair-dinkum douchelord.”

Seeking Redemption is the third book in the Black Shamrocks Series. This book revolves around Benji, the oldest son of the President, Beast. As we know by now, Benji has a serious drug problem and this story revolves a lot around that. There are a ton more issues pledging the club and the O’Brien family. A little more is revealed about Wendy, which I am happy to finally know; it’s been bugging me since book one. But, although touched upon, it’s still not explained why those two, after being dropped at the airport, turned up at the house THAT night (not being clear on purpose). I NEED TO KNOW!! It’s too much of a game changer to go unexplained. So there you have it, I’m still frustrated three books later, but not as much so. It was a good story and I plan on reading the next ‘cause I GOTTA KNOW!!! I give this book 3.5 stars.

The Third installment in the Black Shamrocks MC left me with mixed emotions. God how I wanted to scream at Lacy and Benji wasn't much better.

But what I realised was that Kylie's betrayal of these characters was so so so well done and I really applaud her for that. Even though I wanted to scream at them and often called them names, I was engrossed in the book and that's what we look for in a book isn't it. The way to escape our own reality! This reality was just so real.

As the title suggests this book is about trying to get out of one situation and seek redemption for you past. Kylie did this brilliantly!

I absolutely love this Author and can't wait to read what she next has in store for us.

Seeking Redemption for s the third full length book in the Black Shamrocks MC series by Kylie Hillman. This author is totally hitting a home run with this book series. From the storyline to the characters this entire series has been spot on. Again, this book picked up right where the last one ended but with a new set of primary characters. I love that the author is creating a whole new book but continuing on with the previous characters storylines. Kylie has done a phenomenal job of reaching out and grabbing your attention and keeping you hooked throughout each book. The characters are well thought out and have amazing chemistry. I can't wait for more books in this series and more by this author!!!

When there's addictions, abuse and drug use, you know the story is not going to be an easy read and it's not.
Heartbreaking story with Benji and Lacey dealing with drug addiction, physical and emotional abuse.
I found Benji and Lacey to be selfish, I guess that what drugs does to you, you don't realise your problems affects everyone around you.
You hit rock bottom, how do you claw your way back to the top
Gut wrenching read!!! I must admit I didn't enjoy this book as much as the first two.

AMAZING! Kylie Hillman does it again. Another 5 star read in the incredible Black Shamrocks MC series. This has quickly become my favorite MC series. These books are so intense. Seeking Redemption is a gripping story about drug addiction. How it not only affects the lives of the people who are using, but also the lives of everyone around them. Once again, Kylie takes you on such an emotional journey. Her writing is brilliant and I can't wait to see what she has in store for us next.

Benji and Lacey's story isn't a pretty one by any means. Theirs is a story of addiction, betrayal, and most importantly one of redemption and love. My heart broke for both of them as they fought not only their addiction, but also their way back to themselves and each other. I wanted a happily ever after for them. I can't wait to read more of them and the rest of their family that surrounds them.

I give Seeking Redemption 4 hearts!

This is the hardest of the reviews for me to write because for most of the series I just couldn't stand Benji. I'm still not certain I like him. I know, maybe I should give him a break because he is a druggie, and we all know they will do anything for their drugs.

This tells the perfect story of when an emotionally scarred, golden boy is not held accountable for his actions. His dad thinks he can do no wrong, his twin makes excuses for him and believes all his lies. He is drowning in despair and guilt but still remains a cocky as$hole.

Don't even get me started on Lacey. I'm just disgusted by her behavior. I get it she was in love with an emotional and physical abuser, but come on, she was surrounded by love and friendship and was still a pathetic liar.

So to wrap this up, I'm still not sure where I stand. This couple did seek redemption. They did make amends. They did ask for forgiveness; I'm just not sure I'm ready to give it to them. I love the he!l out of this series! It's like the characters are real. 🤣

This was excellent. It was heartbreaking, maddening and every other emotion you can muster. It was difficult to read the story of 2 people in so much pain that their only escape from it was addiction. Being around addiction in my life I know first hand how it affects not only the addict but every one else around them. It takes a lot of strength from both sides to get to clarity at the end. I've had trouble with Benji from the start of this series. His arrogance, his smart mouth, even in this book there were times that I wanted to throttle him. Lacey also got on my last nerve many times but I had to remind myself that these two people were suffering and until they admit that they need help nothing will help.

Seeking Redemption (Black Shamrocks MC #3)
By: Kylie Hillman
4/5 stars

This series is planned so far throughout 5 books. While the first 3 books have focused on 3 different couples, all couples were still integral parts of each book, and the drama is ongoing flows through the 3 books, so there isn’t a new drama that needs to be generated with each book. Many questions are answered in this book and new ones are posed.

Benji is the family mess-up. His drug addiction was the blackmail needed to cause the downfall to his twin sister Maddie and most of the problems that are surrounding the club, because his father was trying to compensate for his mistakes. Now, Benji must clean up his act and kick the drugs to save his life, prove his worthiness to the club and possibly salvage what little relationship he had with Lacey.

Lacey had previously been Connor’s Old Lady before he betrayed the club. Not much was seen of them as a couple because Connor’s betrayal happened soon and most of the interaction with Lacey was when she was at work at the hospital. But she suffered under Connor’s rule and developed a drug habit of her own.

Now that Benji and Lacey have been exposed to the club for their drug habit and other treachery, they must earn back the trust of the club and prove their loyalty. But it’s always difficult when 2 addicts get together, because the urge to return to drugs is strong and if one person fails, the other usually will too.

Benji and Lacey have a lot to fix within themselves, to fix with each other and to fix with their family and friends. But if everyone can come together, they will create a stronger front against all their enemies.

Benjamin O'Brien has finally hit bottom, but he won't admit it to himself. He's ruined his life, and seriously hurt his loved ones on the destructive path of his addiction. Lacey Marquis has had enough. Deserted by the abusive man she thought she would spend forever with, she's broken, and she's on the same destructive path with Benji. She's hiding from everyone, except him, as they hook up and fall together. As things finally spiral out of control for both of them, the Black Shamrocks MC give them one last chance to make amends. Will they be each other's strength, or final downfall?!

WOW! Another gut wrenchingly powerful read that has me all choked up. The character development is absolutely fantastic, with a colorful cast of secondaries. The way Benji and Lacey's life spiraled down was so realistic, not to mention the slips, and steps back on their way to getting off the drugs. Kylie Hillman has real talent in writing stories that are addictive, compelling, and so emotionally powerful, that I had a hard time remembering where I was when I finished it. If the addiction wasn't enough, the diabolical twists that are slowly being revealed as betrayals had my blood pressure so high, and I found myself livid more than once. I swear that I have to remind myself that I'm not a part of this MC, that's how well she transports me into her world. I LOVE this series, and so I'm HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY Seeking Redemption to all!
