This is a wondeful little book, with beautiful reproductions of engravings and poems and sayings about flowers. There are also recipes for Summer Flower Salads and Herb Ice Cubes, and directions for creating sachets and bath products. One part is called The Language of Flowers, where each flower is paired with a quality, such as Hollyhock-ambition, Petunia-never despair, Forget-Me-Not-true love, Narcissus-egotism. I own this book and take it out from time to time for a few moments of enjoyment.
