kill me right now
Ya les digo porque, este final es un cliffhanger que los amor-odio, es una cosa entre nosotros, pero no es porque fuera un Cliff NO NO NO, sino que el libro no me gustó y yo solo quería llegar al final para saber con quién fregados se quedaba el protagonista, aunque estaba 100% segura que es con la que no quiero.
Todo el libro lo leí en diagonal y siento que no me perdí de nada interesante en serio me pasé páginas enteras
Desde un principio sabía que no me iba a gustar, leí la sinopsis y dije no es para mí, y yo sé que se preguntaran porque lo leí, I don´t know preguntenselo a mi cerebro.
Veamos porque no me gustó, Los protagonistas son dos jóvenes que quieren realizar sus sueños ella ser modelo y él actor llevan siendo novios por casi un año, el día en que él le pide matrimonio ella lo rechaza porque acepto un trabajo en NY y se va a ir al dia siguiente y sí termina con él, para empezar ella es una perra , y me van a decir pero Grecia ella quiere realizar sus sueños muchos hacen lo mismo, o sea estoy de acuerdo en eso pero se lo podría haber dicho desde mucho antes no el dia anterior a que se fuera o sea Helloooo donde está el sentido común, el tacto.
Lo peor de todo es que por azares del destino él se vuelve modelo y coinciden trabajando para la misma revista, el tiene nueva novia y ella actúa herida como víctima porque todavía lo ama y le rompe el corazón verlo con otra simplemente no la soporté, Y ahora me dejan sin un final es muy injusto, porque es un libro que no me gustó y quieren obligarme a leer el siguiente.
1.5 estrellas sólo por el buen corazón que tengo.

Did I like the way this book ended? No I did not!
Do I want to read book 2? Damn right I do!
I'm going to start with the title. It's not often that a book title is deemed necessary to mention in my reviews, however, I have to say my perception of this book before reading was based solely on the fact that it is called Sexiest Man Alive. To me that made me assume the guy was a total player, but Nate couldn't have been any further from a player if he tried. The guy was a complete gentleman. He's a guy the parents would approve of. So the title threw me a bit.
There were times, early on that I felt it dragged in places. I didn't like Olivia, I felt she was completely heartless and was convinced that she could not be redeemed as a character. Some of the secondary characters didn't stand out too much, but honestly that didn't bother me as I was able to focus more on the main characters. I felt there was too much build up to Nate and Olivia's paths crossing again, but as soon as they did, this book completely and utterly changed for me, to the point I didnt want to put it down.
We have the whole jealousy angle which made me feel completely for Olivia and wanting to slap Nate and tell him to wake the hell up! I love it when a character feels heartbreak, like they're never going to win their one true love. Get that right and its pretty much a dead cert I'm going to love it.
For me this was simply one of those books that completely changed pace and went from an OK book to one that maybe wasn't perfect, but had me connecting with the characters in a way that I never thought was possible and that is simply all I want from a book.
I do feel the author has the potential to grow further and I have to be honest and say I was toying with giving this a solid 4 stars, because the room for growth is quite a lot, but regardless of that, a book that has me hooked like this one deserves nothing less than what I have given.

WHAT?! NO!! M Clarke has completely blown Me away once again. She had me at the edge of my seat and then boom, cliff hanger. Sexiest Man Alive has it all; heartbreak, drama and excitement!! Totally loved reading this book and need book two ASAP!! Olivia and Nathan are two people who wear their hearts on their sleeves but let pride steer them away from what they want most. Josh and Isla are my faves they're hilarious, but Troy and Kelley I'm starting to think deserve one another lol I really enjoyed reading this book and felt M Clarke did an amazing job with these characters and I can't wait to see what she us in store for us next.

I am not really sure how I feel about what I just listened too. Nathan and Oliva were not likeable characters, the narrator was female but she voiced Nathan in an enjoyable way to my ear, and the triangle/square of the story line was quite annoying. The ending is the only reason I want to get to the next book. I really hope that things change and they both figure things out.

When Olivia leaves Nathan devastated by refusing his proposal, he believes he has been broken and doesn’t know how he will recover. But when he lands his dream job and starts to live part of his dream, can he see that maybe the end of something is actually the beginning? And should he try new love or not give up on his old love? Olivia is heartbroken when she says no to Nathan but she doesn’t believe he proposed for love but instead to keep her there. But when she goes off to fulfil her dream career, will she regret she leaving a great guy behind and broken or does everything happen for a reason?

A really funny, honest, and loveable read that isn’t only about a romance but actually about finding yourself first, fulfilling your dreams and realising the end of something can actually be the beginning of something amazing.
“People say love can heal and it can mend your soul, but in my case, it broke me and changed me. I was in a dark place, and I didn’t know how to get out.”
I loved both Nathan (Nate) and Olivia despite their break up! Nate was such a good guy; one of the select few good guys who really really loves his woman and is devastated when she leaves him. But he still goes on to pursue his dream job and keep moving forward in life while always slightly holding back his heart for his first true love.
I felt for Olivia just as much though. Yes she left Nate broken hearted but for good reasons I feel. She wanted to pursue her career that she worked hard for and deserved and wanted to be independent and not let a man stop her from achieving all her dreams.
“Leaving Nate was the hardest thing I had to do in my entire life. It was torture to let him go. I was sure this was what hell felt like; I was living it.”
This was such an easy book to get lost in. It let us delve into a world that shows us it’s okay for some things to end so new things can begin; that things happen for a reason; that maybe fate has a plan for us all and that maybe true love and soul mates exist! It was funny, heartbreaking, sexy, romantic and joyful. It isn’t an easy ride, it made me sigh with happiness and shout out in anger while reading about two people who I believed really belonged together but fought against that knowledge. And not only do they not make things easy on themselves, other, darker forces may be at play to keep these two apart for good no matter what….

When I saw this cover and read the blurb for Sexiest Man Alive, I was so freaking excited to read this and had to sign up for the tour. I'm a HUGE fan of the Knight studs and couldn't wait for another book by the fabulous M. Clarke.

Everything moved at such a fast pace before I could register what was happening, even the loud, agonized moan that escaped from my mouth. Olie thinks I'm not good enough for her, achingly repeated through my mind. A piece of me died that night. A piece of me I could never get back 'cause she took it with her."
Nathan Cross is left broken hearted in L.A. when the love of his life decides to follow her dreams and moves to New York. He wanted forever with her and she wanted to be a model. Nate is left to pick up the pieces of his broken heart and somehow move on with his life without his Olie. Always wanting to be an actor, the opportunity presented itself to start modeling and he couldn't turn down this amazing offer. Olivia may have been the one to break things off, but she's just as broken hearted leaving the man of her dreams behind to follow her career. When Olivia finds out she will be modeling for Knight Fashion, she jumps at the chance and finds herself back home in L.A. What happens when she runs into Nate at a banquet Knight Fashion is holding?

Will he have to choose between his past and present or will his heart already know where it belongs? Sexiest Man Alive is a must read. I was left on my toes for much of this book trying to decide which of these amazing women I wanted Nate to end up with. This isn't meant to be a love triangle but in a way it is because he has to decide between the past woman of his dreams and the current woman of his dreams. Hard decisions as well as a broken heart leave Nate struggling with his feelings while Olivia is regretting that she let the best thing that's ever happened to her go.

What I expected was a light-hearted read, but what I got was more, so much more. Sexiest Man Alive was a refreshing story full of angst without being overwhelming and frustrating. The flow of the story was perfect with some flash backs of the past, this was the perfect combination without being excessive but it gives us more insight as to the love Nate and Olivia once shared before their hearts were ripped apart. I never expected to fall so in love with Nate and Olivia as I did. I'm dying to see what's in store for them in Sexiest Couple Alive in May.

It was so nice to further sink into the world of Knight Fashion Magazine, where everything is sexier than ever!
I got to say hello to some beloved characters from Something Great Series and meet some exquisite new ones. All of them extremely lifelike and complex.
I usually know that I'm reading a good book when I get so emotionally invested that I start to think of the characters as if they were alive and get to experience all their emotions for myself. This book is so "real" that it made me think about the plot and the destinies of its characters days after I finished reading it.
Nathan is such an amazing, lovable guy, that it's hard not to fall in love with him. Although I personally understand Olivia and the choice she has made, I'm finding it really hard to forgive her for all the suffering she has caused. True love really should trump all (mistakes, pain, pride,...), but I still can't help but feel extremely sad for Kelly.... The character I never expected I would like this much! Even the way Nathan looks at her seams very unfair to me. The way he perceives her in the beginning, as this perfect, cheerful and 100% confident woman that could "save" him is just silly and naive. The way he later looks for excuses and resents her for showing some human traits (insecurities, jealousy, fears,...), made me angry with him even. But that is exactly what makes the characters so human and this book so "real", captivating and truly amazing.

Nathan and Olivia shared a passion and a connection that was broken when Ollie decided to pursue her dreams and leave behind the love of her life.
We're good, very good. I felt it to be honest and I wanted to be happy with their HEA.
But sometimes life gets in the middle and change our plans, and sometimes not in the way we want.
People say, everything happens for a reason right? I tell you that I liked how they understood that maybe they were perfect together but in the wrong time of their lives, I just couldn't stand why be coward and leave everything behind.
But I'm not talking about Ollie or Nate specifically, is just us as humans are afraid of broke our significant others, I feel that they needed to talk more and realize that whether they were together or not, they're love was one and only.
Fast forward 1 year and they are surfing in the waters of new relationships and get over an old love. Until the destiny decides to reunite them face to face, so they can experience they pain of broken promises and an old love still burning, in the bottom of their hearts, but still burning.

And I need to be honest, I liked this book but I couldn't connect too much with it, somehow I thought I was reading everything very fast and that didn't let me enjoy this book they way I wanted. Is a book I would re read and I know I will enjoy more, but this time it wasn't like that. M. Clarke does a good job giving us a book where the premise is "when there's smoke, there's fire" and where a passion collides once again, but this time... forever.

And I need to be honest, I liked this book but I couldn't connect too much with it, somehow I thought I was reading everything very fast and that didn't let me enjoy this book they way I wanted. Is a book I would re read and I know I will enjoy more, but this time it wasn't like that. M. Clarke does a good job giving us a book where the premise is "when there's smoke, there's fire" and where a passion collides once again, but this time... forever.

I'd like to inform you that if I didn't have the Sexiest Man Nathan on the cover of this book, I wouldn't be drooling as much. Still picking my jaw off the floor. I can't imagine Nathan being heartbroken or hurting or morning or anything else besides succeeding and smiling that drop dead gorgeous smile. But when he got his modeling gig in the Knight Fashion magazine I cheered. Literally. I've been in Olivia's spot, in a bad relationship, so I know what that's like to want the perfect man back after near success. I felt and understood her decisions and knew too well about picking a career over love. I felt for her. I was crying, smiling, cheering, and floored by the ending. If you like sweet romance with a great story, I recommend this book, model or not. Nathan is a great guy for dealing with us swooning over him online and I'm glad he didn't take it too personal that we stalked him. Please let all readers know that Nathan's a man as a real life model, and he's better in real life than in the book!

M. Clarke has become one of my go to authors. no matter the book i read from her I am guaranteed to enjoy it and Sexiest Man Alive is no freaking different.
Nathan thought he had found his forever in Olivia but when she decided to choose following her dream of being a model to new York Nathan was left shattered.
He gets why she must go but it doesn't make it any easier. Nathan wants to be an actor and in order to do so he needs to stay in LA.
after 2 years of being gone Olivia is back. Just when Nathan thought he was over her and moving on with a new girlfriend Kelly. What happens when Olivia and Nathan see one another again and realize they have to work together? Can they keep it professional or will all those old feelings that never went away resurface and reconnect them? Is that what they want?

In this first book of the Knight Fashion series by M. Clarke we meet Nathan and Olivia who have been a couple...well until Olivia moves away and puts her career before everything even the man that loves her more than anything. I have to say that I had a HUGE dislike for her once she did that. Nate was a great guy, he always tried to do the right thing even when it was hard for him.

This is Nathan and Olivia's story told in alternating POV’s.
You are immediately pulled into heartbreak for Nathan. He has planned a very special night for Olivia and things come crashing down on him.
With a shattered heart Nathan tries to move forward. Olivia also moves forward with her modeling career.
We jump ahead one year. Nathan has moved forward and has the contract of a lifetime.
He has met Trish who talked him into modeling instead of acting. Trying to move forward with dating Nathan meets Kelly and asks her out. Olivia has also moved on with dating.
During introductions for Knight Fashion, Nathan sees Olivia sitting in the crowd and everything comes crashing back. He finds out from Olivia that they will actually be working together for Knight Fashion.
"Jealousy erupted inside me as I realized-truly realized-he had moved on.”
I really enjoyed Sexiest Man Alive by M. Clarke. I loved the combination of flash backs. I couldn’t help but root for these two to reconnect, but does fate have other plans for these two. The book ends on a huge cliffhanger and we will have to wait for Book 2 to find out what happens. M. Clarke really draws you in with her writing. It was a quick, steamy read. Thank you!

World Building: This novel takes place back and forth in New York City and Los Angeles.
Characters: The main characters in this story are Olivia and Nathan. Nathan gave his whole heart to Olivia and their relationship was the best part of his life. Both wanting to be aspiring entertainers, Nathan an actor and Olivia a model, he knew their relationship would take work but he was willing to do whatever it took to make their dreams come true. Until Olivia’s dream came at the price of their relationship. After a year and a half of heartache Nathan finally starts to heal and lands a modeling contract that changes his life forever. But fate has a funny way of playing with people’s lives and Olivia is brought back into his life right when he is ready to move on. Emotions are brought to the forefront and people’s feelings get hurt. Who will Nathan choose? The one he could see loving? Or the one he never stopped loving? Leaving Nathan was one of biggest mistakes Olivia has ever made. Seeing him after all this times makes her heart trip over itself and floods her with emotions. More than anything, she wants him to give her a second chance but now someone else is after his heart. Can Olivia make Nathan see that they belong together? Or will she be too late to show him how much he means to her?
Plot: Honestly this is an angst filled second chance romance! There will be hard limits for some readers because this does have a love triangle and ex’s pop up a lot. The hero and heroine both had relationships going on while apart, which is horrible, but what rubbed me the wrong way was that Nathan still had his relationship going on (sex and everything) after Olivia popped back into his life. One particular sex scene with Nathan and his current “girlfriend” was just particularly scummy to me.
Writing: This novel was told in first person points of view of Olivia and Nathan. It was also told in present and past point of view. Honestly this is where the novel fell short for me. The writing was weirdly choppy and flowy as well as formal and informal. I think if the author would have stuck with one writing style I would have enjoyed it more no matter which she chose. The writing definitely detracts some of the story for me in this case.
Curb Appeal: The cover is different and I really liked it! You don’t really see magazine covers as book covers so this is something fresh and fabulous! The blurb is intriguing to say the least. It really does a nice job of setting up the back story for the reader but left plenty of surprises for us to find!
Ultimately: I liked the meat of the story! I liked that this is a second chance romance but not so much the writing style or the love triangle. This novel definitely ended with a killer cliffhanger that had me 1-clicking the next book and I’m intrigued to see how it all ends! All in all, if you are in the mood for models and mayhem then come check out Sexiest Man Alive!!!!

I had no idea when I started this book that it was a spin off from M. Clarke's something great series. But as I got deeper and deeper into the story, names and places jumped out at me and I put two and two together. I loved the series before and I certainly love where this series is going!!
Nathan is the definition of "perfect boyfriend ". He loves with his whole heart and once your in, its pretty hard to see your way out. He would do anything for the people he cares about and it's evident in everything he does. Even after he is dealt a broken heart from the only women he has loved he still is there to help and protect her when they cross paths again.
Olivia is dealing with the consequences of choosing her career over the man she loves. Misunderstandings and needing to prove herself, led her to make a choice that she will regret for the rest of her life. Olivia learns the hard way that the grass is not always greener on the other side, but dark and lonely. Olivia makes a comment at one point that stayed with me for a long time. Olivia wonders if maybe she met Nathan too soon in life and that things may of been different had she met time a few years down the road. One thing she knows for certain thou, Nathan was the one that got away. When Nathan and Olivia's paths cross again some month later neither one of them are prepared for the intense response to seeing each other again. Unfortunately, Nathan is not as lonely as Olivia is and she soon discovers he has moved on with someone else.
I have a hard time with love triangles sometimes. It's a love/hate relationship because I know something big and messy is going to happen and hearts will be broken in the end. Life has a way of making us it's bitch and leaving destruction in its wake. Whenever, I find myself reading a book with a love triangle in it my body reacts every time. My anxiety is always through the roof and don't even get me talking about my blood pressure! I can't stop reading till I have some closer!! Which does nothing to help with my beauty sleep, I might add.
This book ended in a major Cliffy and I'm not going to have any fingernails left by the time May 2016 rolls around. I enjoyed this story so much, I loved how the writer mixed past and present together and you were able to move forward with the story while still learning bits and pieces of the beautiful love story between Nathan and Olivia. I recommend this book to anyone who ever thought they met "the one" a little to soon in life.

I gave this book 5 Knight Stars!!!!
From the cover to the last word you will not be able to put this book down. I simply devour this book in a couple of hours. I was so tangled up from the emotions, twist, turns and life events that I didn't want it to end. This book does leave us on the cliff as far as not knowing if Oliva and Nate and going to get back together. But that shouldn't hold you back from reading this series.
Nate and Olie used to be together. That is until Olie put her career in front of her life and lost the love of her life. Nate was just started to get on with his life when Olie is brought back into his life. Olie has returned from NYC for a model shoot with Knights Magazine when, she comes face to face with Nate. Olie is trying to put a verbal abuse relationship behind her and relize that she is still in love with Nate. Nate is trying to see the relationship he has with Kelly is going to go somewhere. So when past love and future love meet and demands of life, love and ultimatum, what will Nate do? When Olie finds the courage to tell Nate her feelings, her Ex comes back. Will she tell the love of her past her feelings or will she let the future dictate that they will never will be.
Nate and Olie and two people who you will easily fall in love with. The whole way through the book you are rooting for them to get back together. The storyline is like no other out there that I have read and I have really enjoyed the change. This was the first book I have read from this author but I definitely won't be my last. The way she writes holds your attention and she has away of you craving more. Can't wait to read more of this series and other works from her.

From the cover to the last word you will not be able to put this book down. I simply devour this book in a couple of hours. I was so tangled up from the emotions, twist, turns and life events that I didn't want it to end. This book does leave us on the cliff as far as not knowing if Oliva and Nate and going to get back together. But that shouldn't hold you back from reading this series.
Nate and Olie used to be together. That is until Olie put her career in front of her life and lost the love of her life. Nate was just started to get on with his life when Olie is brought back into his life. Olie has returned from NYC for a model shoot with Knights Magazine when, she comes face to face with Nate. Olie is trying to put a verbal abuse relationship behind her and relize that she is still in love with Nate. Nate is trying to see the relationship he has with Kelly is going to go somewhere. So when past love and future love meet and demands of life, love and ultimatum, what will Nate do? When Olie finds the courage to tell Nate her feelings, her Ex comes back. Will she tell the love of her past her feelings or will she let the future dictate that they will never will be.
Nate and Olie and two people who you will easily fall in love with. The whole way through the book you are rooting for them to get back together. The storyline is like no other out there that I have read and I have really enjoyed the change. I have read several of Mary Ting’s books but Maxine Knight Fashion Magazine Sexiest Man Alive is one of my favorite books. I’ve always been a fan of Matthew Knight and didn’t think I could like another “book boyfriend” as much as him but Nathan Cross just leaped from the page and stole my heart from page one. Mary Ting hooks you right at the beginning. It opens up with this sweet between Nathan and Olivia. It is so sweet that you honestly fall in love with the pair of them right there. There are two things out that stood out to me when I read this book. I saw how easy it is to make decisions with your head that you instantly regret especially when they are hasty decisions. The second thing is sometimes you have to lose something to truly cherish it’s place in your heart. I honestly can’t wait for book 2. You have to read this it. The end will only leaving you wanting more so I hope book 2 is coming soon!!! Get your copy! I think books like this should come with a drool warning because Nathan Cross is HOT!

This was definitely a captivating read. If I had to caption my review, I'd probably use:
Draaaama dram drama drama LOL But not because there's mystery or suspense ... it's just filled with drama! Which is what keeps you turning the pages. I, for one, can't wait to see what happens next!
So here's the thing .... this isn't a full story (it ends in a cliffhanger) so there isn't much to say so far except that M. Clarke delivers, as always, with an exceptional set-up to what I believe will be a great love story. There are quite a few people involved in this story (hence the draaaaama drama) and I can't really say whether they help the situation between our MCs or actually hinder it but they do add flavor to the story LOL
So far I have to say I am intrigued and I can't wait to continue this journey!

The Sexiest Man Alive definitely has to be Nathan! What a hottie!! Olivia and Nathan both working for Knight Fashion Magazine is crazy. How can two people who are obviously so perfect for each other not realize it and suffer so much? I yelled at the characters in this book but they still didn't listen lol I was so mad at the end of this book but can't wait for the next in the series to see what happens. I would definitely recommend this to friends who like sexy people and a book with plot.

This was a story about models. Old loves and crazy new ones. To me the characters were very immature and everything was too much of a coincidence. Things just didn't add up for me.
Then it ends in a cliffhanger. I am pretty sure I know where this story is going, so I don't think I am going to bother reading the next book.

This book was smoking hot and caused me to be an emotional mess! This spin off of M. Clarke's Something series. If you liked that series this is for you. This is about the Knight bros fashion line and the models. This book will certainly leave you hot and bothered.

GAH!!!!! I wasn't expecting a cliffy!! A great story with an adorably sexy male lead. I love Nathan right off the bat. He was soooo sweet and gentle and caring. The perfect package. Olivia? Not so much. :-/
