Kamen is one of my favorite characters. He is one of those tortured heroes that everyone roots for, but always comes up empty. Well, that is about to change with Soul Unleashed. His story has been developing since the 1st book in the series, Soul Reborn. A tortured soul, Kamen stands at the periphery, watching and longing to be with Kit but never dares to act upon his feelings for fear he might hurt her and those around her. For he carries a curse - a beast meant to destroy.
Unlike Kamen, Kit crashes head long into danger, not caring whether Kamen approves of her behavior or not. The more she can annoy him the better, because when he is in the room it is hard to breath let alone think. But if she thinks she has figured him out, she is sorely mistaken.
