Being a former student of Ms. Quarles (I'm sorry, I still can't bring myself to call her Dawn nine years out of her class), this book is so very...her. Having always been so open with our Psychology class, I knew about some of her earlier life. It was wonderful and eye-opening to get details of those earlier years that explained, even further, one of my favorite teachers in life.
