Prince Aubrey thought his family was safe following the arrest of his traitorous uncle during the summer’s Tri-fete, but he soon learns the man’s assassination attempt on the Hight King was only the tip of the ice berg.

The court is about to descend into chaos as Aubrey and his loyal companion, the Honorable Winston Dupuis, begin investigating Lord Riven’s claims that trea

An enjoyable read.. I did like the world building, character development and intrigue.

What I did not like or enjoy was the constant misspellings, changes in character, location and time with no break or notice. I cannot count the amount of time I lost what the hell was going on because two or more characters are involved in conversation or some activity only to suddenly be reading about someone else entirely doing something.

A professional proofing and a professional editor would go al long way

I read books 1-4 back to back so these comments apply to all
This is a series and must be read in order. None of the books end with a resolution but there are no cliffhangers; they just stop, to be picked up in the next release. I love the characters and storyline but the proofing is non-existent and it's bad enough to detract from the story, wrong words, missing words, nonsensical sentences. It's painful to read a great story that's written with such carelessness but I'll keep reading as new i

And so the doings of the folks in the Kingdom of Pacchia continue. Aubrey in heat in the midst of crises and chaos. Robert found out. Dierik and his family may have some justice after all and Aubrey's Wicked Uncle's 'big reveal'. Excitement galore!

All the same errors in book 1 are present in this as well but I wonder if that's because of very bad language translation, i.e. the writer's first language is not English. Still he/she could have had an English speaking person give the draft(s) a once

meh? I wanted to keep reading because the first one didn't end (it stopped, but didn't really conclude anything). It's ok, but I won't read the last two. It just doesn't do anything for me. It is quick to read though, so that's good?

This second book was infinitely better than the first, coming a lot closer to the trademark Lia Cooper magic. ;) The politics and plot were skilfully woven in with the romance, with both being interesting and well done.

This book had editing errors, like the first, although not as many. The author clearly needs better beta [ha! pun!] readers.

And of course, we finally get to see the alpha/omega dynamics in full play. I kind of almost wish we had seen it before now, not necessarily w/the main cha
Omegaverse story of political intrigue for a Royal Omega and his loyal Alpha

A medieval, Alpha/Beta/Omega setting where a royal Omega is threatened by political intrigue, and needs to decide which alpha Barons, suitors, and Lords to trust and rely on to survive and rule.

The political plot was interesting, neither simplistic nor overly complex, adding a nice medieval and Royal aspect for fans of Omegaverse stories. The intrigue and trust were more important than the explicit heat, although fans o

This was better than book 1 but the lack of any competent editing seriously detracted from my enjoyment. I would've rounded up but for that.

Bottom line: Badly needs an editor.
