well I Was in the third grade when I read this book did a book report on it was really one of
my favs as a kid.

What a cute book

I would give this book two and a half stars.
This cozy, affectionate book really does reach out and touch the heart of its reader, even if one will not quite realize that it is happening until the final page has turned.
James Howe just really has a wonderful understanding of the hearts and minds of children and of people in general, a combination that usually makes for a good, sensitive writer, qualities that have defined James Howe's literary work since he first was published in the late 1970s.
Something about "Teddy Bear's Scrapbook" is very endearing, and the book does an excellent job of displaying the ways in which friendship and affection work, and why it is that it doesn't matter what a friend looks like, or whether or not others would deem them to be as good as you; all that matters between friends is that they like each other, and nothing could be better than that.

2nd chapter book David and I read. His favorite parts were when Teddy meets the abominable snowman and when he is a circus clown.

Funny, charming story about a worldly, reminiscing teddy bear who's seen and done it all, and is a bit shabby in places for it, but the girl who owns him loves him just the same.

Rainy days need their own books and this is one to share with kids.
