Magically Yours #2

Wherever You Go Were You Are

Rate this book
The PI business has really gone to the dogs. Literally.

Werewolf Lucy Lyle has just caught a ruff new case: sniff out the stalker preying on a couple of male strippers. Should be easy enough, except it seems that the only scent Lucy’s wolf is interested in is that of the scrumptious new client. Human client. Too bad they’ve sworn off humans for good. But like a dog with a bone, the harried PI is determined to solve the case, facing down the dangers of strip club locker rooms, waxing strips, law professors, smart mouthed police officers, and true love.

~ 4 Wherever Stars ~

Wherever You Go Were You Are is book two in the Magically Yours series by Randa Flannery.

This was such a sweet, adorable, and fun read. A great change from the norm for me. It’s a light hearted read with mystery, humor, and romance.

This title can be read as a stand-a-lone just like book one Love The One You're Witch. I found this novel to be just as fun and entertaining as the previous book in the series. The writing style was easy, enjoyable, and fast paced. The story is told in both Lucy and her wolfs POV’s.

Lucy is a werewolf investigator. She has a snappy sense of humor. I also loved how the author portrayed her wolf side. Wolf and human; being two separate entities coexisting together in one body. Walsh is the hunky hero who is full of surprises. The romance was sweet and secondary to the mystery of who the stocker is.

We are also introduced to several secondary characters. The author set up a few of these characters to possibly get future romances. I do hope so! I am enjoying the sweet, fun, and light hearted romance Ms. Flannery has created.

Wherever you Go Were You Are was a sweet romance. If you enjoy light funny romances, then you should pick up this series.

>Book Review – Wherever you go, were you are –

>This book is the second in the Magically Yours series and ends in an HEA. Lucy is a wolf shifter PI. Paranormals are living alongside humans in this version of the world. Lucy loves being a shifter, but finds dating human males a disaster. She is an Alpha female and few men can handle that fact. She is hired by Walsh, an accountant stripper to find out who is stalking him.

>The mystery was very easy to figure out, but the means employed by a shifter were interesting. The olfactory sense played a huge role, as did the hierarchy of a wolf community, with an Alpha and a mate. The love story between Lucy and Walsh was very G rated, but cute. Walsh accepted Lucy for what she was., yet he could out alpha her at times.

>I didn't buy into the whole idea of straight-laced Walsh stripping in place of his twin. That part of the story didn't take sense. His stalker could have noticed Walsh as he drove his twin home or something.

>This story is appropriate for a young adult (16+) to adult audience. I am giving it 4 hearts. I am a reviewer for Romance Authors that Rock.

I am a total sucker for these types of reads, especially when they are done as well as this one! It was sweet, cute and loads of fun, plus a light, humorous side.

I loved the characters, especially our human loving, were-girl main character. She is brilliant. Her personality if bursting with excitement, she is keen to solve things, smart and sassy. I love that the author really brought her to life. She even had me wishing I could jump in and be her, even when things weren’t going to plan.

The secondary characters really built the story up as well. Though they weren’t as eye-catching and addicting as the main, they were full of detail and had their own personalities and ways of doing things. This led to a lot of interesting conversations, actions and drama.

The pace of the story was done really well. With it involving solving things, it had a fast enough pace to make it very exciting and fun to read. It was also steady enough to really feel the struggling emotions and attractions, in our main. I liked, though, that we were still given plenty of time to get to know everyone and the surroundings, giving us loads of chances to take opinion on what was happening.

Overall, I loved this book. It is my first read by this author and I definitely plan to go back and read more. If you are looking for an intriguing, light and fun read, then this is for you!

**I received this book for free in exchange for my honest and unbiased opinion.

This is Book #2 in the Magically Yours series. Just like book 1, I found in very funny and entertaining. There is another mystery to solve by the agency and you meet a lot more of the secondary characters. Lucy is A werewolf investigator. She too has a snappy sense of humor. Walsh is the hunky hero who is full of surprises through out the story. You get to meet Lucy's wolf in person and the results are hysterical! Can't wait for book #3.
