When we reminisce, we think we're looking back at past memories. But if Time is relative, rather than linear, exactly what are we remembering? The past? The future? Both? Folded Dreams - The Beginning was born in a college English Literature classroom, destined to become Folded Dreams - The Novel. Or was that the other way around?

Short and sweet. It took me less than a hour to read. I would have liked to see the idea expanded but it is nicely written and enjoyable.

Folded Dreams - The Beginning is a short story as beautiful as it is intriguing. Diving into an area of the uncertain and unknown, it dares to look at possibilities many do not speak of but have questioned. This glimpse into the mystery that surrounds life and time is provided through the eyes of a child as she grows. Written incredibly well, I cannot help but feel there is more to this short story than mere speculation. While short in length, Folded Dreams-The Beginning reads as only a story wr ...more

I won this novella from a Goodreads Giveaway and the following is my honest opinion of: Folded Dreams -The Beginning. This 70 page novella by
Pearl Kirkby is either a condensed version or just the beginning of the full novel to come. Whichever one it is, I can't wait to read this novel when it does finally come out. This is about LIFE. How does the Theory of Relativity reflect on what a life truly is? Looking at life from the perspective of time; and our specific time in place and space. What do
