Crack in the Mirror

Rate this book
In a sordid section of Paris a woman lives with a brutish, much older man she has grown to hate. She is in love with a young laborer but poverty keeps her in a bondage of hunger and despair.

In a much more elegant section of the city the surroundings are richer, but the situation is the same. A beautiful, sultry woman has been mistress to an elderly, distinguished attorney for the past 10 years. Her secret lover, however, is an ambitious young lawyer.

Soon they will all be as enmeshed in each other's destiny as the web that forms when a mirror cracks and the reflection is destroyed.

Six people trapped in the corners of two triangles with no escape short of murder!
