An excellent resource book for families who want to learn more/why or for school/parish reference for those that may guide others to knowledge of the customs and practises. Concise, accurate explanations written in everyday language was most helpful. I found it very helpful and have consulted it many times for clarification.

Excellent reference for many symbols and practices within the Catholic Church. Since there is such a wide variety of things to cover (it manages to cover the basics very thoroughly), the depth is a bit shallow and factual.

Oh my, here I am a cradle Catholic and didn't know just how little I do know until I got this book! I will NEVER say I am through reading it either! You can study and read all day and twice on Sunday and still never say you know the faith.
