One area that especially resonated with me was that people (myself included) say "I was lucky enough to do x" or "I was lucky enough to get y opportunity" when actually you shouldn't be afraid to say you worked hard to achieve these things, it wasn't just good luck.
One thing I particularly disagreed with is that changing your hair and buying a designer bag will help you get where you want in life. I feel like if a company isn't promoting you unless you do these things, you're in the wrong job for you.
It was difficult to work through and time consuming to complete all the activities but from it I developed a series of goals that I am slowly working through. If you are hoping for a miracle book that will change your future, you will be disappointed. If you are willing to put the time in to objectively take a look at your life and decide what changes you need to make for yourself to make small day to day life improvement, this book may help you.
