OH THANK GOD FOR THIS BOOK!!!

I was in such a book rut!

Blame it on the holidays. Blame it on whatever. I'm just SO HAPPY that I picked up this book and read it straight through. Honestly, the muse being Stephen James helped out A LOT in my decision making. (Thank you Ms. Johnson for that visual and sorry I didn't start with books 1 and 2, but Seth and Tiffany's story was calling out to me and I NEEDED to read their story first!!!)

Now, excuse me while I go dip into my endless supply of Mr. James picture images and make a thousand teasers for all the amazing quotes. I shit you not, I really think half my book is highlighted.

**************************

Two souls, two hearts, two pasts aligned… this was what I was waiting for, this was my moment.

****************************

“My heart is your heart… remember.”

****************************

Two steps. Two heartbeats. Two breaths.

I want to gush so much, and write this long winded review on how much I loved it, but then we would be here all night, and I would never stop talking about how wonderful both Seth and his Angel, Tiffany, really are. They were absolutely amazing, and wonderful, and glorious and just plain soulfully beautiful. So instead of writing it all down, I will show you how much this book made me feel:

It truly was a MAGICAL book. These two broken souls didn't have the easiest childhood, but they made it through the turbulent storm and found each other. They immersed in each other once they realized that they were meant to be together than to be apart and miserable. I loved, LOVED this couple immensely. They were flawed, broken, shattered and overall lost, but they were perfect.

I swear, this lady is too talented with writing it's unbelievable. I loved Seth since he was introduced. He was such an interesting aide character and very mysterious. I was so excited to read his story and of course learn about Tiffany! I loved their story and to say how excited I am for Colby and Cam is an understatement. I have grown sooo incredibly close to these characters, I can't believe after Cam and Colby's novella, it will be over... All these characters hold a place in my heart. I know I probably say this alot, but I'm serious. With Mrs. Johnson's writing and understanding all these characters, I have completely fallen for all of them. Todd is still my favorite and he's the one that surprised me the most. Loved Tiff and Seth. Loved this book. Love A.M. Johnson. Love this series. Love everything with this series! :)

***POSSIBLE SPOILERS PRESENT WITHIN REVIEW***

So, I started with the third book in the series not knowing if that would make a huge difference to me with prior characters and their stories. But it really didn't matter at all. Sure I had to get to know some of the characters, but everything was pretty much explained as to who they were and what they meant to each other. Seth Montgomery and Tiffany Webster are best friends. They hangout together and do friend things. But, Tiffany's feelings go deeper than that. She will settle for any kind of relationship that Seth offers because she knows that Seth is only a one-night stand sort of guy. Seth deals with woman issues because of his mom's abandonment years ago. He's got it bad that all woman are the same and after only two things - MONEY & PRESTIGE (the family name means a huge bonus). He constantly abuses woman. Not physically, but emotionally by using sex as a tool. Only now that he spends more time with Tiffany, he feels that maybe he was wrong. She changes his way of thinking. She doesn't care about the money or the family name. She accepts Seth for who he is and slowly the hard wall that he has put up around his heart begins to crack. Maybe he can have a real relationship with her. But, what Seth doesn't know is that Tiff has a secret of her own. One that she has been keeping from her friends. And, it's a really sad one. One that brought tears to my eyes. When it's revealed, it brings Seth just a little closer to letting down his guard and giving Tiff more of a piece of him. What will happen, though, when Tiffany experiences a horrifying act that no woman should ever have to go through? I think that it just brought them even closer together. But, what will it do to Seth??

This was definitely an emotional ride. So many ups and downs to their relationship. I was so rooting for Seth to let down his guard and finally let Tiffany in. He had such potential to be a really excellent hero. He was a great friend and talented musician, but it was his past and his father's influence that kept getting in the way of his thinking. He was smart with that brooding intense stare. Not one to smile much, but when he did it was infectious. And, the whole kissing thing was an added swoon towards Seth. Tiffany was such a likable young woman. She, too, was a great friend and one hard-working chick. But, what was in her past was tragic and so not totally her fault. She paid the price for it each and every day. It was not fair for such a beautiful and talented person to live with such pain.

I loved their story and was impressed with the author's talent to write such a moving and passionate novel! I guess I should go back and read the previous two books in the series to see how each one really came to be a couple. Looking forward to reading more from this author!!

Seth Montgomery grew up believing that ,money , power is all women wanted!!!! His dad taught him that so he swore that no women would control him ever! Never would get the chance to destroy his heart! Cause he had seen first hand .... His mom leaving and abandoning Seth's family!!!

Tiffany Webster for three years she had been falling in love with Todds best friend "Seth" but she knew that Seth only wanted one night stand and felt like she wasn't his type.

But one night ... Everything changes truth comes out .... But can to broken souls learn to let go and trust and feel again!!! And SURVIVE

This was my favorite book in the series. Seth is so fucking sexy. It's real and raw. Tiff is so adorable. There could be no one else for Seth. She's perfect for him. It gives you all the feels. You also get some of the other characters in the series. I love how they are like a family. This tight knit group that are always there when you need them most. It's a story of two lost souls finding their way home.

The last instalment in the Forever Still series is Seth and Tiff's story. Now firstly, I want to say I liked the other women in the series, they had their own attributes, but I ADORED Tiff. Although the book is about them both and they both have issues that they need to get over, it was actually Tiff that stood out for me. She had a will of steel, the things she'd been through, she wasn't just surviving (even though she thought she was) she was conquering. However, it wasn't until Seth finally moves past his history, and allows himself to really feel, that the two of them can get together and obliterate their demons. I loved this book. Todd still has my heart, but it was a wonderful end to the series, and AM Johnsons writing is beautiful, she manages to weave every sentence like the art its meant to be. I can't recommend this series highly enough.

This book has left me absolutely speechless!!!!!!! This book is about healing, accepting, love, and courage.

Seth grew up thinking that all women wanted was money and power, at least that is what his father raised him to believe. Seeing as how his mother abandoned her family.

Tiffany has been in love with Seth for the last 3 years. But she feels like she isn't good enough for him and with him only wanting one night stands... yeah so not her.

But one night could change everything... but can 2 broken people learn to trust one another and Still Survive?? FIND OUT TODAY!!!

This was one if those books that really made you sit back and take notice. It was a love story that was not all that sweet and some things happen that makes you wanna say dang. In the end you end up enjoying every minute of this story and it makes you realize how messed up life can be and what you might think is bad is really not that bad. These people in this book went through so much in their lives and in the end they came out for the better. This was a great story about starting over and getting the life that you were meant for. I look forward to reading the next book in this series and seeing what will happen.

Amazing!!!!!!!

This was a powerful and amazing story, like I always said Amanda you have a gift, this books is dark, and though but very emotional at the same time. Seth and Tiff; you are in my heart, you are amazing. Tiff u have the power I want to be u when I grow up. This series has a romantic and emotional story but they are really a family, that has situation and they complement each other. I will recommend this book and this series to anyone because is 100% perfect!!!! Keep going girl….

I finished Still Surviving by @am_johnson_author yesterday and I LOVED it, even though I knew it was one step closer to the end of the series! It was a fantastic journey that had me laugh, cry and get hot and bothered

Still Surviving is book 3 in the Still series and by far the best story yet. Two people fighting to live with their past. It was love a first sight for Seth and Tiffany but to get the HEA they deserve they had years of anger, hurt and confusion to get through and lots of bumps in the road to get to a place where they could be together. Loved this book so much didn’t want it to end! Seth is seriously one hot character.

Review:

This is the third book of the Forever Still Series, and the first one that I have read. This story reads as a stand alone book, but it continues from the previous books focusing on Seth Montgomery and Tiffany Webster. This was an easy book to follow, it was well written, but the alternating back and forth points of view retelling the same passage got a little distracting. The story itself was hard to take, in a very good way. Seth and Tiffany are so broken that it takes these two shattered soul to put the pieces back together for one another.

There are some dark situations in this book, so if you like your book to take you on the edge, this is a book for you. The subject matter is for mature readers.

two steps, two heartbeats, two breaths.

An emotionally charged, highly evocative, gripping read that left me holding my breath one minute and gasping the next.

Seth Montgoery, treats women as they deserve to be treat, with hate, anger and distrust after being forced to believe all they want is status, money and power. His mother abandoned him, his brother and father when he was only a child for another man, a man who took everything from Seth's father. Life turned dark and he vowed he would never give a woman the power or control and never ever give them the satisfaction of destroying his heart.

Tiffany Webster had been falling in love with one man for the past three years. Her boss’s best-friend. The day Seth walked into her bar, the day his steel blue eyes met hers, she was hooked. But, Seth Montgomery was unattainable, and only into one night hook-ups with a certain type of girl. A girl Tiffany was not.

Tiffany was the one girl Seth had ever considered breaking his rules for, but swore he’d never corrupt.

Until one night… when everything fell apart… and hidden truths surfaced.

Feel like I can finally let the breath out now that I've been holding since starting Still Surviving, what a rollercoaster of a journey. The complexity of each character made for some pretty emotional reading. None of them are living they are just existing, both with wounds from their pasts, focusing on just surviving until they meet each. They can't deny the pull they have like two magnets but both are focusing on self presevation and can't allow the other to help heal their wounds. They need each other. I easily connected to them as the author brought them to life I felt they were real as their experiences, obstacles and the trauma they have to overcome was so raw it was impossible for me to not connect to them. I felt the plot flowed and had substance, and although this is book three in this particular series, the other two which I haven't read did not hinder my reading experience.

I would recommend to readers who enjoy a gritty, heart rendering read about love, loss, survival and leaning to forgive and above all else living life.

FAVORITE!

Can I go back and change STILL WATER to a 4.5-star? No? Heck, it's my review, so I should, but that wouldn't be fair to the book, because at the time it was my favorite of the series -- especially considering I didn't see Todd coming. He annoyed me some in the first book, but he definitely proved to me he was a great lead in WATER.

Oh-ho, ho, but just you wait until Todd's roommate, Seth, has his story told.

Let me remind you of a line from my STILL WATER review:

While I enjoyed STILL LIFE, I absolutely, positively adored STILL WATER.

Well, the series just gets better and better. Hands down -- feet too, if you want to add them -- favorite of the series. I felt that this particular book had amazing character strength, plot strength, and the hint of drama was done so well -- the author's talent has grown since STILL LIFE (...and that was still a well written piece).

Both Seth's and Tiffany's backgrounds draw the reader in, and watching these two come together, finally, was so much fun. And while I don't tend to care for books where the characters are with other people throughout the story, I felt that Seth with his random hook-ups and Tiff trying to date, all before these two finally bit the bullet where one another were concerned, was executed extremely well and added to the realness, the believability, of their story. Seth definitely is being added to my 'favorite hero of 2016' list -- his care, his passion, his drive... his tattoos and their meanings for him, as well as the ones he gets where Tiffany is concerned... my goodness, definitely worthy of book boyfriend status. And then on top of all of that, on top of the falling in love goodness, we get the friendship with all the previous characters.

So much love for this book. I'm sad to see the series ending -- but before that happens, we should be getting one last taste of these friends, as Colby finally makes an honest woman out of Cam. I can't wait to watch that go down.

Seth. Oh Seth. I was intrigued by Seth in Still Life and then again in Still Water. I am SO HAPPY that he got his own book with Tiffany. I love the history that Seth and Tiffany have together. How they have been friends for years and have had feelings for each other but never knew it. I love how they help heal each other in different ways. Help each other trust. Help each other come alive again. Tiff is small but sassy and sexy. She is beautiful and loving and caring but carries so much hurt. Seth is VERY sexy and loyal to his friends and very protective of a certain small sassy lady. When they FINALLY figure out how each other feel it is amazing!!!! My heart burst open because I was so happy for them! I love all the firsts and the best and the worsts. I love how they can share that with each other and really experience it. And the first kiss!!! OMG!!! The scene after going to the Lagoon for the first time!!?? Hot!!! Seth is amazing with his words and he just makes my heart melt with how much he loves Tiffany and how much he feels for her. The ending made me SOOOOO HAPPY!!!!! This was an amazing book and I swear each book in the series just gets better and better. And each guy gets hotter and hotter. I don't know who my favorite is.....Sawyer, Todd or Seth. It might be Seth. There was just something about him that I LOVED! Maybe it was because I was picturing Stephen James the whole time HAHA!!! I loved how Lily, Todd, Liz, Sawyer, Cam and Colby were in the story too. SO excited for Colbys novella!!!!! I also really enjoyed the relationship between Seth and Lily. They really do seem to treat each other like brother and sister and it is so funny!!!! Underwear in the freezer!! HAHA!!! FANTASTIC BOOK!!! I am even a bigger fan now of A. M. Johnson and I didn't even know that was possible!

And the orchids!!! I may never be able to look at orchids again with out thinking about Tiff and Seth and the tattoos and the meaning behind them!

Still Surviving is A. M. Johnson’s HIGHLY anticipated conclusion to the Forever Still Series. As the main characters have silently weighed in on the story lines of the previous books Still Surviving brings to life the deepest and most complex storyline the series has to offer. As mystery surrounds both Seth Montgomery and Tiffany Webster, readers slowly but surely get to immerse themselves in this intricate, beautiful and slow healing love story.

Determined to be single forever but trying to find his place in the world, Seth Montgomery denies his attraction to Tiffany Webster. And while Seth is off feigning ignorance Tiffany is fighting demons, hoping Seth will soothe her pain. In a battle of head versus heart, self- preservation versus possible heartache; this story is a rollercoaster of will they or wont they. With a deluge of history, heartache and trauma surrounding both these characters, their individual journey proves to be as significant as the possibility of the one they may embark on together.

Still Surviving is A.M. Johnson’s best book to date, showing off her growth as an author and the development of her characters and this series. With all previous characters continuing to appear in this book, Johnson shows how Forever Still has seamlessly created a family for the two misfits in her series conclusion. Impressed and captivated by the tortured and black soul of Seth Montgomery, I must admit A.M. Johnson’s resilient, spirited and painfully beautiful Tiffany Webster is what I fell in love most.

Giving her characters equal share of the pain, power and redemption; Still Surviving and the Forever Still Series has duly noted, A.M. Johnson as a must read author; gracing readers with words filled with heart and soul.

This was book 3 in a series, and you get to see some of the previous characters who show up in this story.

Seth and Tiffany, at times I wanted to scream at them to get there acts together and to be honest with each other, then there were times I wanted to cry and hug them both. I loved this story, loved how this all came together. I couldn't wait to see where their story would go from the beginning. I held my breath through some of it, hated some of the choices they were making out of fear, but overall they were trying to move past their pasts and that's all anyone can do, trying to get over your past is very difficult for some, and I think this is where I connected with the characters.

They worked hard to get through their pasts, but would they be able to do it together? Or were they just meant to be friends, be there for each other to confide in and help but only on the friend level? I know what I wanted from the beginning and I thought it would be like most books where they finally let go of their past and started their lives together, but you get some surprises from this book, you think you know what is going to happen but then something else happens. These are the times I wanted to scream at the characters, but then they would make me want to grab them and hug them and cry with them. These two characters had a tragic past, could they get through their pasts to move forward in their adult lives, and follow their dreams, and could they do it together, or were they only ever meant to be friends?

Seth had been raised by his father not to trust women, after his mother had left them. Seth believed his father was right, and never dated, preferring one night stands. He believed that women only wanted him for his money, and felt he was treating them as they deserved. There was one exception. Tiffany. She was a bartender where he worked, and a part time tattooist. She was also one of his best friends. Tiffany had some heartache and loss in her past, and still carries the guilt with her. She eventually opens up to Seth, and tells him why she feels she was to blame for the tragedy in her past. Seth helps her to realize that she was not to blame, and that she should let go of the guilt. Tiffany thought she was forever doomed to be stuck in the friend zone with Seth. She saw in him what he couldn't, a confident person who knew what he wanted in life, but just was just struggling a bit to following his dreams. Tiffany helped Seth realize that his father was not completely right in his beliefs, and following a dream is worth it. As they both discover their true worth, will it bring them closer, or are they destined to remain only friends?

Trust This... Feel This... Survive This!

Still Surviving is book 3 in the Forever Still Series and is the story of Seth Montgomery and Tiffany Webster.

Seth has been groomed to believe that woman only want money and power.

Tiffany has spent the last few years falling in love with Seth.

He's the hot, tattooed guy who can get any woman he wants.

She's the hot, tattooed sass queen who takes no sh*t!

They both have baggage, both damaged and both surrounded by darkness they don't allow many, if any to see.

This story made my heart both break and swell. Seth and Tiff's love... The ups and downs, the drama and above all, the love! I still have no adequate words to describe just how amazing Still Surviving is.

This book is different than Still Life and Still Water, It's a lot darker and raw but still just as beautifully written!!

Amanda is a true wordsmith. This books hooks you from the start and I could not put it down.

I'd give this book 100 stars if I could.

Oh. My. Word!!! How can I describe this book???!!!

A. M. Johnson has done it again! In what I think to be the best of the of this series, she freaking tore my soul out!! I was shattered, broken, and I was beautifully stitched back together. A broken mosaic, just like Seth and Tiffany.

If you think Sawyer and Elizabeth owned you, think again. If Todd and Lily made you float, you WILL break and reach new depths within yourself you never though possible with this series, when you meet Seth and Tiffany.

A. M. Johnson has poured her heart into this and you can feel her soul as her characters come to life. You can touch, taste, smell, and feel all that is written.

An author that, not only is amazing at her craft, but is a beautiful soul as a person and woman, and a great friend, I can not recommend her work highly enough.

Thank you, A. M. Johnson. Thank you for all the pieces of yourself that you give us in your writing!

I absolutely love the Forever Still Series and Seth pretty much just sealed the deal on my ongoing love for these characters.

Seth and Tiffany had so much going against them so much pain how could they ever see anything but that? This story is about forgiveness, love, and this beautiful thing called life that is far to short. I was captivated from the first page,I loved these two so much and I love this group of friends, so seeing them all make appearances brought a smile to my face. Seth is on another level it's unreal his love for Tiffany and her love for him was so real, so beautiful. Don't let those tattoos fool you.

I feel like every book I read of Amanda's she's always changing her writing style and surprising me. I love her dearly. This is one of the best series I have read this year and I don't want it to be over.

I will forever remember these Forever Still characters they have left there imprint.

Having met Seth and Tiffany in Still Life, i somehow knew that these two are perfect for each other. They have been denying their attraction with each other for far too long. Both have a dark past that’s preventing them to live life and be happy.

I love how Seth has finally realized that what he was taught by his father growing up is wrong. Putting his walls down and letting Tiff in was the best thing that he have done. I also love how Tiff has accepted that what happened in the past was not her fault and she herself is a victim.

Together they helped each other be the better person, see the light from all the darkness.

The last book of the Forever Still series didn’t disappoint. I can’t put the book down as i want to know what happens next for Seth & Tiff. I also love how you also see glimpses of Lizzie, Sawyer, Lily, Todd, Colby & Cammie. Love how the story was written, emotions will pour out of you while reading Still Surviving.

Another great read...

Still Surviving is book three in the Forever Still Series by A.M. Johnson.

Seth Montgomery, a man who is damaged, a man who is distrusting, a man who has everything and nothing. Tiffany Webster has fallen for Seth but has been watching from the sidelines, never getting too close to the damaged soul of Seth. Tiff has loved Seth for years, they met, she saw into him, deep inside him, but he was unattainable.

Tiff was the girl that Seth never considered, he was never going to break his rules with her, he cared too much for her. Then one night changes everything, and all the walls they both built came tumbling down around them.

A.M. Johnson has, as always, written something spectacularly good and you cannot help but fall in love with her characters. I give this book a five star plus rating.

Ahh seriously Amanda's writing is so beautiful. I've read most of her books and they've all left a little piece in my heart.

Seth's character had me intrigued since we got a little glimpse of him in Still Life. Boy was I off about him. I feel like out of the group of guys Seth has one of the biggest hearts but he just doesn't realize it.

I loved Tiffany's character, she's full of sass but once you get to know her you find out her story and boy is it DEEP. Tiffany showed Seth how to open himself up and that love is a good thing.

When Seth and Tiffany let themselves love each other, I swear it's such a beautiful thing. Of course it had a few bumps in the road but they didn't let that stop them. It just made their love stronger.

This series was just perfect I don't even know how to pick a favorite. I'm so sad it ended but so happy that all of the characters got their happy endings.

Five Fabulous Stars!!!!
I actually read this book last month but haven't had a chance to write a review.
Sawyer, I love him and he will always hold a special place in my heart.
Todd, well he just was everything I wasn't expecting but fell for him too.
Now Seth.... Well Seth just took my heart and I'm ok with that... Because I just wanted to crawl into this book and hug him, hold him and tell him everything was going to be ok.
Amanda's writing gets better and better with every book she writes. She's become one of my favorite authors and I will click on anything she writes.
I love how she bought these two broken souls together and made them one.
Ladies if you have not read this book or this series, you are serious missing out!!
