If you unwittingly find yourself watching 70s era stop motion Christmas movies and need something to offset the overdose of saccharine, this collection of stories is for you. This was a terrific anthology of tales centred around the Christmas season. It is a book that is full of humour and darker tales than one might expect at that time of year. There are vampires, bad elves, Christmas on Mars, and several twists on just what Santa Claus might be like. It was a thoroughly enjoyable read. I'll have to make sure to read the Light Volume companion to it.
