While the scope of this book is narrow it handles it very well going over the 3 properties of its focus in great detail. The short comings are that the author does not dive into matters of performance more in depth. Perf is touched on briefly but is a key consideration in animation techniques. If you are more used to handling animation with js or js frameworks, this book is for you and will educate on how to get rid of the bloat.
