Perhaps these ideas were more radical in 1994 and needed more explanation. I like the idea but it took a lot of pages to express one great idea.

I will try this idea - building a quilt from the center. It's the same technique I use for drawing a mandala - so less of a brilliant breakthrough and more of a "hmmm - that would be fun to try".

The pictures inspire me though and that is mostly what I want from a quilting book.
