Nikk the Sapphired Book Dragon
This is book 2 in the series and MC Melinda returns to England to try and find out what happened to her sister Lucy, who we know from book 1 is now living happily in the past. Somehow Melinda manages to get herself lost and take shelter in a castle from a storm which leads to her falling back in time the the 14th Century

This book was a bit of a mixed bag. In places it was convoluted and a bit of a hot mess but also fun and sweet in a really cheesy way. In the beginning there seemed to be a few i

Oh, Those Knights!

Let's be honest, sometimes it is the greatest fun to get completely lost in a fictional fantasy that is a quick and easy romp into our imagination. These books don't have to be great works of literature. They are here for our pleasure and enjoyment, and I'm honestly a bit tired of people suggesting that you can't give a "best book" label to a romance. Well, guess what? I once more, fell in love with another time-traveling romance, and

Several days ago I happened upon a free download from Amazon for a time travel romance entitled A Knight to Remember. Well, that got my attention. I adore time travel, completely smitten with medieval English knights, totally enamored

I thoroughly enjoyed this book!!! I felt this book was much better overall than the author's first novel, "A Knight To Remember". In comparison, this story flowed so much better than the first installment. Though still fast paced and not bogged down in detail, it didn't feel jumpy or that perhaps parts of the story were missing. That was one of my criticisms of the first book. This novel also had a much better set up to the time travel, in my opinion.

The author really hit her stride in this 2nd

** I received a copy of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review.**

Once I started reading 'Knight Moves' I literally did not put it down. I was hooked from book one, 'A Knight to Remember' and continue to want more. The storyline is so brilliantly written that it's full of strong and well formed characters that it pulls you in. I love the time-travel aspect. The way it played out was full of humor, self awareness growth and of course, romance. Melinda is a feisty red head whom

This is a great series. This is the second book and tells the story of the second sister to go back to 14th century England.

Melinda is a fiery red-head with no sense of direction. This usually leads to disaster for her but lots of humour for us. James is a badly scarred knight with a new battle to fight - how to win back his self-esteem and believe that he is worthy of love.

Between the two of them we are taken on a magical journey across time with love, lots of 'aaww bless' moments and humour.

What a great sequel to A Knight to Remember! There were many things about this story and its execution that make it a little better than its predecessor, but I won't say more to avoid spoiling the ending. This is definitely a sequel; you should read about the first Merriweather sister before sinking into this story. I'm looking forward to reading about the third sister!

I received a copy of this book from the author.

Knight Moves

Gave it five stars, I like this author. This series of books are real good. Not heavy in romance but a good rounded story that involves all the sisters. Cannot wait to read the last one

New favorite series!

I really like the author's writing style and how she perfectly blends romance and adventure. Most historical romance books should learn a few tricks from this series. I literally slept at 5 am just to finish book and the next. The author has the ability to literally drag you in time. A rare talent for writers today. Obviously, the author don't need cliffhangers to force the reader to continue reading, she just have this magnetic pull that every word needs to be devoured.

I really enjoyed this book. I didn't win it so I asked my local library to order it in. It is the first of Cynthia's books I have read but I will certainly be reading more in the future.

Easy to read, quirky, fun, believable time travel. Certainly place it amongst the top books I have read in this genre and I've read lots.

Just to let Cynthia know I was paying attention, one wee error. She says she arrives on Feb 14th but then later on April Fool's Day says it is a month since she arrived. Certain

An excellent time travel romance. The author really brings the 1300's alive with vivid descriptions, sounds and smells. You really feel as if you are there alongside the heroine. This is a super read, a real page-turner with plenty of surprises. I found myself rooting for the hero and heroine but never really knowing how their love would work out. Well-crafted tension and a perfect romance. I strongly recommend this book.

What a fun time travel story! I enjoyed this much more than book 1--probably because I had my expectations set much more realistically. The first book's Lucy had seemed the typical time traveler who speaks idiomatically and does stupid things. That was kind of how Mellie was but either I expected it or it was not so overdone and I was fine and enjoyed the whole "chick lit" nature of the story. I am plowing on to book 3. Can't wait. These are squeaky clean in terms of sex, IMO.

Excellent, intriguing, mysterious adventure

Knight Moves by Cynthia Luhrs is a stand alone in the series Merriweather Sisters Time Travel book 2. I have totally enjoyed reading this and it took me on a wonderful, exciting journey full of intrigue, some mystery and finding true love by looking at the person and not by what they look like. A page turner. My free opinion. Thanks

I am so pleased I read the review that suggested people should read the Merriweather Sisters time travel series before reading "Darkest Knight". I have thoroughly enjoyed them and am about to start the final book in the series.

What do you do when your sister disappears from the ruins of a castle? And you don't believe she's dead? You go to England and investigate yourself! I'm loving this trilogy. My only complaint is that I want the books to be longer!

Fun sassy and chivalrous

The second was even better than the first! Such a shocker. I’m looking forward to seeing what Charlotte does. The characters were interesting and had major chemistry. The moral to the story was beautiful.

The idea behind these books is fine. I kept reading because I wanted to know what happened to the characters in the end. However, the actual writing is jumpy and confusing at times. Also, there are parts that are just unnatural and unbelievable.

Enjoyable. Not as fun as the first one but I enjoyed it nontheless. I liked the beauty and the beast theme and enjoyed the characters.
