She and her sisters loved the danger and the drama and the flamboyant personalities who were part of the show. They played at being trick riders and barrel racers for weeks afterward.
So, when she realized that Chase Lomax, rodeo cowboy, who was a character in her first single title romance, Montana Blue, would be the hero of her next book, Montana Gold, she felt she had been given the best of all possible worlds. What a perfect excuse for attending more rodeos and performances of the PBR, the Professional Bull Riders! What a great reason to make another trip to Montana! What a marvelous opportunity to write about two of her deepest passions!
Genell Dellin has published more than 25 novels. Her historical romances have won multiple awards from Romantic Times BOOKclub and the University of Oklahoma School of Professional Writing. I really enjoyed this one! I have only read a few from the series but this has been the best by far. Denne and Michael were a really romantic couple. Denne’s mother Margaret is quite a super mom, too! Always baking, sewing, decorating. Making sure her daughters have their dream dresses for the Winter Dinner Dance. Hot cocoa and cookies for the girls after school!? Wow!

October 5, 2014I remember reading this when I was a pre-teen and feeling like i could relate to the main character's insecurities. This is a part of a series that existed back in the 80's called "First Love from Silhouette". I remember my dad HATING that my mom's best friend's daughter gave me a huge pack of these. Funny thing is that I don't remember any of them excepting this one book.
