Reviewed on A Bookworm’s Musing: http://wp.me/p2J8yh-2Zw

Positive aspects:
+ Simple recipes that most, if not all foodies, can try
+ Very useful especially for beginners
+ Stories of how the recipes were found/attempted
+ Photographs of the dishes

Negative aspects:
- Not much I’d change, actually

It’s a book I’d gift to friends who are passionate about cooking. I am not one who cooks a lot.

A very detailed and functional cookbook. More than the recipes , i admired the appendix section where the authors have listed The basic cooking terms , the procedures and also what to buy and where. Plus the recipes too have substitutes and options written for even the amateurs.

Such an interesting concept of cookery written like fiction. Desi students going abroad - don't forget to keep this book handy. Excellent recipes which time starved people can easily relate to.
