Another gorgeous cover and yay, I got my HEA! There were some struggles … a soon-to-be-ex-husband wanting another chance, misunderstandings, a stubborn lover, … but in the end everything turned out as it should. I’m not going to tell anything about the story because I don’t want to spoil anything. I’ll only say that I admired Eliza’s strength and growing confidence…

I loved the first two books and it’s the same for this one. I’m looking forward to read more from this author!

description

After the devastating blow David and Agnes/Eliza suffered at the end of Break Me, they must now pick up the pieces and determine their paths. In this final installment, Agnes proves she is a strong woman in so many ways. First, she finds closure with her soon to be ex-husband and the loss of their child by grieving together. For so long, Agnes was debilitated by guilt but she is no longer willing to accept that numb existence. Agnes’ next step is to fight for David and prove their bond is solid.
“He gave me a feeling of security and care that I’d never experienced before.”

Even though Agnes is as determined as ever to move forward with David, he is absolutely crushed by Agnes’ betrayal. While David’s acumen and steadfast approach proves successful in business, he now realizes he may have acted in haste with his heart. Of course, David knew Agnes was recovering from a trauma, but David trusted his feelings and believed he found his match. As David tries to recover from the humiliation and his broken heart, he stubbornly delves into his work rather than trusting his feelings and talking with Agnes.
“Sometimes things are broken so badly they can’t be fixed, I mutter to myself. I don’t want to believe any of it, but the pain of her betrayal thickens the emotional landscape around me so that I can’t see my way out.”

Once Agnes and David agree to meet and talk, all the truths are revealed and they can no longer deny their connection. It’s at this point when David finally resurrects the Dom we’ve lusted over and he’s not going to waste any more time in reclaiming his Eliza. With Agnes’ elegant submission and David’s masterful dominance, their bond is forged in an honest exchange of emotion and physical pleasure.

“She falls gracefully and positions her body for me, just as I instructed her on our first night together. I move away from her to undress and gather everything I will need for what I have planned. When I return to her with rope in my hand, she looks up at me with lust-filled eyes and eager, parted lips”

With the conclusion of the Absolution series, the journey for Agnes and David has come full circle. After surviving such a tragic loss, Agnes deserved to feel love and devotion again and with David’s big heart, there is no shortage of security and wholeness. This series explored a range of internal conflict and personal growth that allows the reader to experience loss, pain, adoration and some hot times at the Grotto. I am pleased with how the series ended and felt hope and joy for this couple’s future.

As always Sophia Scarlet has a way to drawn you in and entice you to play on her pages of eroticism and empathy.

This series must be read in order. It allows the reader to travel through the stories of each character and feel all the emotions at play. Especially the more erotic ones. *Wink wink*

In Break Me, we see Eliza falling in love with David, yet on her horizon was the impending doom of a divorce. Coupled with her, withholding the truth of her situation from David.

On to the yummy part. Will we see an HEA or will Eliza turn back to her husband, for them to quell their pain together. Well, let's see...

In Bind Me, Eliza is being fought over by two men- her estranged husband, Jonathan, and David. The one man who allowed Eliza to set herself free. To soar and experience pleasures she never knew existed. David's part in Eliza's life was pivotal at a time where she was suffering. Eliza became a strong and confident woman. How can a woman not fall for a man that supports and encourages her to become better than she is.

Eliza still has not spoken to David about her current domestic situation. Still being married and still living together. Despite not being together and not seeing each other; any possessive man would beat on his chest and go ape shit crazy. And, so said so done.

As per any great romance, we need a little dramatization to get the blood pumping.

At a more opportune time, David learns the truth of Eliza's double life and becomes even more infuriated and pained, when she chooses her husband, Jonathan. But what stabs him the most, is not just the betrayal of her dishonesty, but having to learn about it from Jonathan. Ahh... the joys of a love triangle.

With everyone's emotions running rampant, Eliza starts to doubt herself and what she truly wants. We see a woman's journey to her happy ending, a journey along a bumpy and brutal road. That causes her the most pain of all. Can she salvage her past with a man she doesn't love, or should she risk it all for the man that feeds her emotions and desires.

Please, go and read this series. It's a woman's journey to self actualization and the promise of a better tomorrow.

This third and final installment was my favorite part of this series. I loved writing all of these character, including the secondary characters. This story meant a lot to me because I like to believe that we can all recover from the hurdles that life places before us. We can survive anything if we have the love and support we need to thrive.

I hope that you enjoy Agnes and David’s story. Thank you for reading.

I was given this book for an honest Review. Spoiler Ahead Read At Your Own Risk
This was book 3 of the "Absolution" series the book picks up where book 2 left off Eliza's husband Jonathan shows up at the club during his birthday party and tells David that they are still married. This is just like a man the moment she moves on after he filed for divorce blamed her for their sons death and check out when the son got sick and now he wants her back. David felt angry and confused and refused to let her explain so he jumps on his jet and visits his father. Jonathan and Eliza finally talk and then visits there son's grave and grieve when David sees this he backs off thinking that this is what she needs. Eliza is determined to get him back and she goes to Eve for help. I really liked this series and this was the perfect way to end it although I wished that the book was longer. The sex scenes where hot and I also liked the friends that each of them had. This book was well written like the other books in this series with no errors in spelling or grammar. I am looking forward to reading more books written by Sophia Scarlet and maybe she will write about one of the couples in this series maybe Marcus and Willow.

This book drops us right back at the cliff we were at ending book 2. It took me all of two seconds to regain the turmulous feelings I was experiencing then. Luckily my wait wasn't long to finish this series.

We start by the astranged husband finally trying to get his head out of his ass, also though for me his efforts were far to little far to late. But he pulls it together and does what needs to be done.

I think this book reaffirmed just a few life lessons...

Lesson one...talk like adults, it will save so much time and heartache. I know we know this, but everything in this book just confirms it.

Lesson two...do not be judgemental. We all do it but it only creates distance between you and those you love.

Lesson three...shut up and listen, especially when someone is reaching out to you.

This is the perfect wrap up to this trilogy. I think everyone finds their HEA. Sophia did an awesome job of turning tragic life events into life lessons that cumulate into a wonderful steamy HEA story.

Bind Me is the third installment in the Absolution Series by Sophia Scarlet. It started where the previous installment left. It was, in my opinion, the perfect ending for such.

I appreciated that the Author gave a POV for Jonathan. From the get go, he was such an asshole and I was feeling smug to be proven right. But, I was also saddened by such conclusion that he wasn’t really able to handle and how to react during such situation. Although that was the case, I was able to connect with him on such a deeper lever that I just all but accepted him. I can’t, I don’t know how to express my opinion regarding with him that I won’t have to divulge anything but that crumbled me apart and hit deep within me.

I actually hated how David reacted in the situation. I felt that he acted so immature but considering his impulsive personality, it was what was expected of him. He always acts on impulse without thinking through every situation that just I can’t stop myself for being unsympathetic with him.

Agnes showed how she evolve as a person, how she accepted herself and her sexuality and she showed strength and such bravery that I am just amazed by her.

All in all, this last installment in the trilogy was such an emotional read for me and I was actually thankful that the first two was not as heavy as possible. The first book let me peek in Agnes’ soul and to see her journey have a beautiful end was satisfying, I guess? The second book made me know David more and it made me understand why he acted such way and how he have come to realize where fell short in their relationship. This third book let me sympathize for Jonathan that even if he was an asshole, I just accepted him and hope for his happiness.

This last installment, in my opinion, is all about absolution. Not just for Agnes and what she went through, but also for Jonathan for the actions he made and his misgivings and faults, and also for David. To became brave and strong from a tragic event that had happened in that life, and to come out with flying colors. When I think of it, this book represents those butterflies flying in open air. Represents freedom to be who you are and what you are and accept life and be amazing despite whatever struggles you encounter in the way.

I recommend this book, this series rather, to be read slowly by taking your time. Not just focusing on the exploring of sexuality but of the underlying whole picture that should be taken into account.

Books in the series (should be read in order):
Bend Me (Absolution, #1) by Sophia Scarlet Break Me (Absolution, #2) by Sophia Scarlet Bind Me (Absolution #3) by Sophia Scarlet

This was a good ending to the trilogy. After the way things ended in Break Me I really had mixed feelings on what would happen next. Would she go back to Jonathan and work on their marriage or would she finally force him to sign the divorce papers and hopefully work things out with David. I have to say that the way both Jonathan and David were with Agnes/Eliza was a normal reaction to each of their situations...Jonathan although he is the one that wanted to end his marriage with Agnes realized that he made a mistake and wanted to work things out with her, and David was so stark raving mad when he found out that Eliza was still legally married to her husband and that not only did she not tell him about it - she didn't tell him that they were still living together either, how could he get past something like that and ever trust her again.

I am not going to spoil the ending you will just have to read it for yourself and find out if Agnes/Eliza did what you think she should have done.
I loved the Epilogue. I often find that most authors give you the epilogue in the current year while I always hope to find out what happens with the characters down the line. This epilogue takes place five years down the line and it was great, it gave you closure not only to the main characters but also the secondary and tertiary characters as well. Well done Sophia Scarlet, I thank you for giving me the closure that I had hoped to get.

If you read my review about Bend Me or Break Me I posted the following and I feel the need to post it again....
I have to mention that although Agnes is going through a divorce she is still legally married and living with her soon to be ex-husband. While they live in the same house they have separate bedrooms and do not socialize with one another. I felt the need to mention this because there are many people that will not read a book when there is cheating involved and while I do not consider this cheating there are some that might.

This was a wonderful book. It was given to me as an ARC, but don't think this just a fluff review. I truly loved this book and the series. Where can I find me a David is what I now want to know. This book starts off right where the last one stopped. You are wondering what the heck, how do you love someone and not try? Agnes/Eliza is a strong woman she's been through so much I don't know how she's not pulling here hair out. But with the help of good friends, a shrink who really doesn't say much of anything, they all, because her husbagd Jonathan is in this too, get to where good people like them should.

You want to know does she go with Johnathan the husband or David the fine grocery chain owner? Well .... you'll have to read the book. It is definitely a great read. Sophia Scarlett has done it again. This is definitely one series that everyone should read.

This conclusion to the Absolution series starts right where it left off in the second book. Jumping right into the action.
We probably all asked ourselves after the second book what will happen with Agnes. How will she explain to David that she is still married to Jonathan but loves David and wants to spend her life with him? And more important, will David listen to her?
Since Jonathan turned up at David’s Birthday Party and kind of crashed it, David knows about Agnes secret. Will he forgive Agnes for lying to him and being married? Is Agnes able to sort her things out and be happy with David? How will Jonathan handle this situation? Is he willing to let Agnes go or does he fight for his wife, which he abandoned the last few months?

I loved that we didn’t miss out on anything and the story jumped right into it so we get to read all the juicy stuff. I think it was wrong of Agnes that she wasn’t honest with David and Jonathan. I really hoped that everyone would be happy in the end and now I can say that I was not disappointed with the ending of this series.

I really enjoyed the writing and was hooked from the beginning to the end of this story.
I really loved that we got a look inside Jonathan with his POV. I always felt so sorry for him though in this book I felt really horrible because we always just thought about how Agnes had to deal with the loss of her son but Jonathan also lost his son and was alone.

It’s fair to say that I loved this book. =) It was really great. We finally got the conclusion between Eliza and her ex-husband. And I really liked that David didn’t just jump right back on her but gave themselves a few weeks to process their chances. This was needed really badly because they have been on each other since the day they’ve met. I am still kinda sad for Jonathan though. The part where he agreed to sign those papers and when they went I am glad that it still turned out good.

I received an ARC of this book from the author in exchange for my honest review.

I must say that I did indeed enjoy the Absolution series.

The final book in the Series Bind Me was really surprising to me. Bend Me, Break Me and Bind me was filled with a lot of juicy kinky sex scenes. Bind Me however felt like it had a lot more depth to it. The story is short however this talented author was able to deal with so much real life issues that affect a lot of couples daily in a very concise manner which had me really thinking how this type of behaviour occurs daily between couples who do not know how to properly grieve a great life lesson.

I don’t want to give much away but I truly enjoyed how she dispensed with the Eliza and Jonathan situation there was an in depth breakdown on the issues facing the couple. At one point I was able to empathise with Jonathan and his loss, and see where in fact the breakdown of the relationship occurred. I even thought (though very briefly) he probably did not deserve to lose out. Jonathan is not really a complete douche bag as I first thought he was for abandoning his wife.

I was a bit annoyed and disappointed at first with David and how he chose to deal with the situation as a dominant. However as the story progressed I was able to understand him more and understand why he dealt with it in that manner. Eliza however is indeed a strong classy heroine I was so happy with her persistence to take control of her own life, and attempt to remedy the problem that was initially of her own making. When she discovered her own strength and was able to stand on her own i was overjoyed to share in her journey from grief, heartbroken wife and mother to a liberated independent woman.

In the end the fairy tale love that was shared between David and Eliza and their instantaneous connection which rose against the odds made this HEA GREAT.

What an emotional roller coaster! This book picks right up where the second one left off. David is standing there in the Grotto after being confronted by Agnes/Eliza's husband Jonathan. Eliza is beside herself not knowing what to do. This is not how she saw things playing out. Now she is staring at the man she loves and the man that abandoned her.

Jonathan spills Eliza's secret--her real name is Agnes and she is, in fact, not actually divorced. Agnes tries to explain but David wants nothing to do with it. The hurt and betrayal he feels is second to none and Eve comes to the defense of her friend and helps to get Eliza thrown out. Not knowing what to do, Eliza reluctantly leaves the Grotto with Jonathan. As he watches her walk away, David realizes he has just made a mistake in not listening to her, and rushes after Eliza, only to catch sight of her kissing her husband.

From here the emotional spiral continues. You get to see what happens in a relationship when there are lies of omission, and an unwillingness to fight for what you want in your heart. This book had me crying my eyes out for both of the main characters. So much happens in this book that you either won't want to put it down, or you'll have to take a break to let your eyes dry out. Eliza/Agnes has to deal with her love for David, the husband she no longer loves (but all of a sudden he has had a change of heart) and the emotional hell of still trying to handle the loss of her infant son.

While there is finally a happy ending, you'll see that it's not all wine and roses getting there--such is real life. As emotionally draining as it was, I absolutely loved this book and the entire series and will continue reading works by Sophia Scarlet.

Bind Me (Absolution#3) by Sophia Scarlet This book picks up were the last book left off. Agnes’s identity has been blown by her husband. Davis is devastated to find the woman he has fallen in love with and had hoped to spend the rest of his life with is not who she said she was. Agnes’s husband wants her back and Agnes has been broad sided by what has happened and is in shock. Once everyone has come to their senses since the revelation of Agnes’s deception this is their story. I was so excited to read this book. I really like this author’s writing style. She writes in a way that pulled me into the story and I found myself really caring about the characters. The journey the writer took me on in telling Agnes and David’s story was one that told a true and complete story of them trying to navigate the act of betrayal. Would David be able to forgive Agnes for lying to him about being married and giving him a false name? Would Agnes be able to convince David that she does truly love him and to forgive her? I was not disappointed with this book and the ending was more than I could have asked for or wanted. I was given an ARC for an honest review. I give this book and series 5 stars. Well worth the read and if you have not read this author give her a try. You will not be disappointed.

This book was given to me for an honest review.
This story is a page turner and even though I was left hanging in the last story I will forgive the author since her story telling was so compelling that waiting for book 3 was somewhat tortuous .
The book captures the dynamic or two people who have that chemistry that everyone yearns for. You know the one people talk about where the whole world fades out when this person enters the room. The stuff fairy tales are made of. Except this story is not a fairy tale. It is full of real pitfalls that happen to people everyday and finding a way to overcome them and reemerge even stronger than before. I love how as much as this relationship help Eliza find who she is she understands she needs to find herself before she can start again. Love can make things worthwhile but she needed to finish one part of her life before starting another.
The characters are dynamic and the supporting characters are so good I am hoping that this author continue more arcs about them too!!!
Great read rated 5

A great (although predictable!) ending of a great story! David and Eliza/Agnes are a perfect fit! Ooh, I'd 'kill' to have someone take care of me like David takes care of Eliza! LOL!
After I've read book #1, I had had to wait for book #2 to be released which - for me - is kind of a problem, because I always seem to forget things and I end up re-reading the previous book(s). And that is the only negative thing I could say about this series: it's actually 1 story and IMO could/should be 1 book. I'd say I give the total series a 4.5 star rating. Absolutely enjoyed reading David and Eliza's sweet and beautiful love story!
Thank you so much Sophia for the opportunity!

It was given to me as an ARC for honest review.

This next instalment in the series begins where we left off, David is in shock and annoyed!
How can she be his when she's mine? Agnes/Eliza who is she? What's the truth.
She should have told him from the start, she know this but!

The story has been a heartbreak from the start, then you think life is good, too good?
It's one hell of a ride, it's hard to write this final review without giving away the story, or give you my view on the story....your thoughts may be different.
Only way to find out is to start the journey. And please I need more!

I adored this final installment of David and Eliza's love story. The novel was downright perfect for me in concept and technique. The author writes with a beautiful fluidity and clarity. Her grasp of the characters' inner turmoil and love expression is some the best I've ever read. I love her artistry of language. It's truly inspiring to me as fellow writer. Overall, I loved the story, the pacing, the action and the final resolution. Bravo, Ms. Scarlet. Bravo! I look forward to reading more from you.

This is the last chapter of David and Eliza. We saw them go through a lot of issues, mostly secrets Eliza kept from David and we finally get the ending we were wishing for.

I really liked the writing, the sex scenes were HOT! I wished the book was longer though, it felt rushed at the end but it was a good story.

I hated Eliza in the second book but like David I forgave her and I was happy for her.

This was the third book of the Absolution Series by Sophia Scarlet. It was such a great read. It was hard to put down. David and Eliza's story was sweet and empowering. It showed courage and strength. Yet there was tenderness and love. I almost hated to finish the book. It meant the end a of a great trilogy. I can't wait to read more books by Sophia Scarlet. It's definitely a must read series. I received a copy of this book from the author.

a great finish to this story of heartbreak, love , trust and finding one's strength. This third did not disappoint. We see Agnes only grow more and more becoming each day more confident in her new identity. David looses it when Agnes's ex comes back into her life not giving Agnes a chance to explain why she needed he ex to fall back on. Will David finally listen to Agnes? All questions are answered and you will love the ending.

Received from the author for a honest review. A wonderful conclusion for this three book series. After all comes out in book two"Break Me" Eliza (Agnes) tries to right the wrongs and bring the closure she needs but is it with Jonathan or David? David is betrayed and not sure he can trust again. Always tears, lots of sex and a great epilogue in this Absolution Series.

Perfect! A perfect ending to a smart and well thought out series.
Bind Me - book three in the Absolution series picks up where Break Me- book two leaves off. We start off with David Lakes’ point of view. My heart hurt for this man but at the same time I wanted to shake him and tell him to take a breath and listen. Chapter one starts off a series of misunderstandings and miscommunication. I was so saddened for these two. Then it hit me, maybe this is exactly what these two needed. As sad as I was for David and Eliza maybe this time, this separation is exactly what they needed. Agnes Bright was still shedding her former self and struggling to embrace Eliza Stuart. David Lake had to lick his wounds. Though in my opinion he has some blame in what he calls lies of omission. I remember many time Eliza tried to come clean and he didn’t want to hear it and distracted her with smokin’ hot BDSM playtime. Now that I’ve mentioned the sex, let me tell you, Ms. Scarlet does not disappoint in that area. The play scenes and intimacy are still in abundance; David has not lost his edge. Back to my broken heart, while my heart may have been broken at the couples parting, Eliza was mending hers. This character was so well written and believable I could sympathize with her plight, losing her son and having to deal with all that comes with a child that is terminal all alone while her husband betrayed her in the worse way. Eliza really came alive in this book, she is ready to take on her grief and move forward. However, Jonathan Bright has decided it was his time to step back into Agnes’ life (she is Agnes to him), as much as I did not like the man who abandoned his wife and child in their time of need, he was written in a way I could empathize with him. Reading Jonathan’s point of view and seeing his sadness helped me forgive him and understand why Agnes/Eliza was so kind hearted towards him, even when he did not deserve it. When Eliza and David meet up again I had tears in my eyes when Eliza bared her soul to him and gave him all of her vulnerability and insecurities. The scene was fantastic. David being the man he is did not disappoint, his response came swift and aggressively beautiful. I felt guilty as I turned page after page as fast as I could. I wanted to slow down and drag this book out for days, knowing it was the final book in the Absolution series. It’s a juxtaposition of emotions as I was nearing the end. This book did not disappoint in any way. 1-Click! The writing is excellent, the secondary characters in all three books were outstanding, and the storyline was superb. Eliza and David- out of this world characters. I loved every single minute of this series. I would recommend this author to all of my friends! I want to close with this, my favorite quote from the book, “Every bruise, every ache is a treasured token of the absolution I’ve found in David’s care.” Now that is a well taken care of sub and a beloved lover.

I'd been looking forward to reading "Bind Me" after reading the first two installments in the "Absolution" series, and I was not disappointed. "Bind Me" is a satisfying conclusion to this clever and compelling trilogy, taking up immediately from the point where "Break Me" breaks off (haha!), and following Eliza/Agnes and David as they try to figure out whether their relationship can or should be saved after the bombshell revelation at the end of "Break Me." I don't want to give away any spoilers, but ultimately this is a love story and a story of personal growth and fulfillment, so...well, you don't read love stories for the sad ending, do you? The important thing is the journey, not the destination, and the journey for Agnes (and David) is skillfully done, so that you follow along with bated breath, hoping that things can work out for these two people who so clearly deserve to end up together, if only they can make things work out.

There are a lot of things to love about this series. Agnes/Eliza is the high point for me, but all the other characters, even the minor ones, are realistic and sympathetic. There aren't any "bad guys" as such, except possibly Agnes's parents, but they are presented as real people acting the way real people do, not as villains, and her conflict with them is just part of her journey towards the absolution she seeks. Even her husband, Jonathan, becomes a complex and sympathetic figure in this book, as he steps out of Agnes's mind and into the story itself, and we get to experience his side of things. Ultimately, what you end up with is not a cliched conflict between good and evil, but the real conflict that everyone experiences as they try to negotiate their way through life and deal with everyone around them.

Another thing that I personally found very rewarding about this series, and that culminated in this, the last installment, was Agnes's enthusiastic embrace of her own sexuality and the strength she found in engaging in consensual BDSM, combined with her open declaration of herself as a feminist and her ability to make the difficult decisions she had to make, on her own terms. Not to get distracted or spend too long on my high horse, but I find the condemnation of the romance genre and particularly BDSM erotica, whether by conservatives or progressives, to have a disturbing undercurrent of the patriarchal concept that sexual relationships are inherently transactional and rape-based, and I was thrilled to read about a character who was able to combine her sexuality with her feminism in an empowering manner. Readers who are curious about reading some romance/erotica with a BDSM edge will, in my opinion, find this series, with its sympathetic and complex characters, a good introduction to the genre, and those who already enjoy the genre will find it has more than just the generic conventions.

I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Well for those who know me, I don't give out 5 stars very often but Bind Me along with Bend and Break Me had me mesmerized and hooked. But without a doubt Bind Me is my favorite and deserving of every one of those stars.

With what was a cliffhanger or sorts ending in Break Me, I couldn't start this one fast enough, so with a late night last I was forced to finish it today and although my eyes are hanging out of my head right now, the sleep deprevation was worth it.

As the explosive truth to Eliza's secrets about her past are bought to the surface by her husband Jonathan, David cannot believe that his Eliza has been lying to him for all the time they shared together. David is angry and devistated but it is seeing Eliza / Agnes return to Jonathan that is the final nail in his coffin. Knowing he really wants his Eliza back he knows that the history they share is more than he can give. So he does the only thing he can - walks away!

But unbeknownst to him, Agnes is pushing through with the divorce to Jonathan, they must get over the final hurdle of visiting their sons grave. It is during this time that Ms Scarlett offered us a vision into Jonathan... The man who hated and disowned his own wife after the diagnosis of cancer to their newborn son. But we also saw the man who wants his wife back, to little, to late for Agnes. She knows the only man she wants, is the one won't even take her phone calls.

So comes the chase, Agnes turns to Eve, one of David's closest friends to get him to open to her again. David is the only man who lets her be the woman and sexual creature that yearns for his dominance. Eve,not afraid of anyone, telks David in no uncertain terms that Agnes is still well and truly in love with him, so his decision is made. He will fight for his Eliza.

Using all of his dominant powers, one dinner request at the Grotto, where everything turned so badly previously is the place where they rekindle their love. David and Agnes / Eliza begin the road to forgiveness and happy ever after.

What a fantastic ending to a great series.

I just finished reading Bind Me (Absolution Part Three). I enjoy reading Sophia Scarlet's work, I think her writing flows together very well. I was given this ARC in exchange for an honest review &, I give this story ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️! If you are just picking up this story to begin the series, in my opinion you should temporarily set this one aside and start with Bend Me (book one), then Break Me (book two), and then read Bind Me (book three). You will NOT be disappointed! Book three begins where Bind Me (book two) ended, there are no gaps in between each story so there's no trying to figure out what is going on, who everyone is and how they fit into the story/situation.
This is the conclusion of Agnes aka Eliza's and David's story. David's heart was completely shattered when Jonathan ruins his birthday party by showing up and claiming that Eliza is actually his wife Agnes. David hopes his Eliza will tell him it's a lie, a cruel joke and none of this is real, or that Jonathan is mistaken, but she doesn't. Eliza knows she should've been honest and upfront with David about her situation, especially about Jonathan not signings their divorce papers. Jonathan finally realizes he still wants to be married to Agnes and he wants to repair their marriage. So he tracks Agnes down at David's party. David's friend Eve tells Eliza *"You vicious, heartless, little bitch. How could you do this to him?”* Jonathan and Eliza/Agnes are asked to leave the club.
Will Jonathan finally sign the divorce papers so they can close that chapter of their lives or will he fight for the life the used to have before their son died? Will Agnes decide she wants to save her marriage now that Jonathan says he wants to stay married? Will David forgive Agnes for not telling him the complete truth of her situation? You'll have to read the story to find out the details, I enjoyed doing so.

***I was given an ARC copy of book 3 of this 3 book story by the author for an honest review. This will be my second story by this author. ***

So Agnes/Eliza has been exposed for the fraud she is and the lie that she has been living in the worse possible way and in the public eye. The first part of the book just made me feel sad because this could have all been avoided, if only Eliza had the courage to tell the truth. However, isn't it just like an ex to turn up when have moved on and fallen in love with someone else, they NOW care and give a dam and decide to totally ruin your happiness for you. Enter Jonathan!!!

Well as to be expected Eliza does not get the chance to explain to David because he is too mad at her and it looks like she is choosing Jonathan over him. Which of course she is not but it looks that way. When David finally gives Eliza the opportunity to explain, she challenges on him on a important point, which he has to concede. The point is that she had tried on many occasions to tell him the truth but he simply did not want to hear it. He knew something was off but he did not want to explore it because he did not want their relationship to end or that they would have to face some issues before they could be together.

The ending was a bit predictable and a bit of an anticlimax for me after living on that razor edge for the first 2 books. I think this is to be expected when you split a story up into parts. It just does not flow the same as when it is all in one book.

Definitely worth a read!

Wow what a way to end the series! And warning maybe a few spoilers too

I must say at the end of book two we saw the bomb drop but to see the way it exploded right out the gates in the final book was wow! It was nice to finally see a bit of what Jonathan had to say on how things turned out and how well unattached he really was from Anges when we first read of the Devore in the beginning. Now saying that to see how David responded which was totally male of him in every way, I couldn't help but feel the anguish in David at that time. And God Anges she well she goes from vibrant and living to numb and loss in a split second a lover again. But as you read you see her come back to life having the fight to go after what she wants well with a bit of help too from eve. To see her break down David's walls once again was amazing though I wanted to smack David a few times and yell "wake the eff up dude " but at last he found himself and the balls to finally listen to what Anges had to say. Now the rest I felt was a bit rushed and in a way kinda feel jipped on no getting to hear about the wedding yes I said it and well duh spoiler alert *laughs* I would have liked to hear how David was so involved and how he just managed to talk Anges out of enloping.

Now saying all this I hope we get to hear more from some of the other characters *coughs* like Markus and willow

Great job Sophia I look forward to more of your works! And really pepole you have to read this whole series,

Love this writer and this series. This was a wonderful and fitting conclusion to a story that takes us through so many emotions and touches on subjects rarely seen so passionately and tenderly touched on. David and Eliza have that love few people ever feel but she lied. To him. The one thing he asked for was honesty and she didn't deliver. Jonathan now wants her back. After months of ignoring her and dealing with his own pain over the loss of their son and finding out about Agnes' diversion, he is in a spin. She goes back to the townhouse and helps him move out. In doing so, they face painful memories together and deal with them putting into perspective. They relive and revisit the painful past and put them to rest. The final act of closure was visiting the gravesite of their son where they shed many tears, of loss and regret which David sees from afar. This throws him into a tailspin thinking they have reconciled leaving him reeling and in a bad way. They finally find there way back to each other making the essential happy ever after. This was a wonderfully written book with well developed characters. I felt for Eliza, for losing a child, the dissension with parents who never bothered to get to know their daughter, the biracial tension, and the sexual discovery. I expect much more from this author, great things at that
