Dealing with you isn’t easy, Blake Adams! You’re a pain in the ass! If it weren’t for the money, I would’ve never agreed to do this, especially not with you!
The only thing that mattered to me was having the baby that my late wife and I could never have. I shouldn’t have let the surrogate agency talk me into using Tasha Williams, but she was my only option – or so

Fresh, New, exciting and romantic

I absolutely loved this story the way two people come together by a million to one shot is exciting. We have a grief stricken alpha male trying to hold on to the memory of his wife by having their child by surrogacy, then all that could go wrong did. Very romantic and well written I would highly recommend this book.

In The Baby is Mine, Blake Adams against his better judgement hires Tasha Williams to carry a baby for him and his deceased wife. Everything is going well until Tasha delivers the baby, she and Blake are in for a shock. As the events unfold Blake, turns alpha male on Tasha and moves her and her daughter into his house as well as lets Tasha know that they will be a family, meaning that she will be his wife and not just in name only. Will Tasha bend to Blake or will she fight him tooth and nail? ...more

This is my first book by this author and I read this book on Kindle Unlimited.

Blake was a right ass to begin with regarding his baby with his surrogate. What I like about the story was that the characters were very direct and honest about their feelings and what they thought of each other.

I would read more from this author.

The Baby is Mine by Vivian Ward
I received this audio book from the author for an honest review.
This book was something totally different. I haven’t read a book like this ever, so I was really intrigued to see what happened. I would almost call this a enemy to lovers story after listening to the backstory of the two main

3.50 Stars. I enjoyed this quick read in audio formate narrated by Sophia Lovegood. My biggest complaint was that narrator's voice for the Blake is too " girly". The author wove an enjoyable and different tale of a surrogate having a child for a grieving widower. It is a heart warming and awe inspiring read to follow the author as she performs the miracle of bring two diabolically opposed people into a loving family unit. Blake Adams, a widower of 2 years hires Natasha Williams, a single mother ...more

It was a bit disjointed

This book was just ok. There was no chemistry between the h\ h. A lot of the story was to far fetched and hard to believe. Being that I'm from st. Louis I was looking for something to excite me like special landmarks ...things that are displayed in other books where the story takes place in other cities. I believe the writer has what it takes to be a good story teller but there were to many stretches of the imagination and I couldn't connect with any of the characters

Wow, really! Blake may be rich but he is trifling & prejudice. Tasha is from "the ghetto," trying to do the best she can as single mother but her backbone is missing in action. :) These two bumped heads of course but miraculously Blake all of a sudden has a change of heart...things that make you go hmm. This author definitely knows how to engage the emotions....good & bad.

Life is never boring

This book is wonderful. I was hooked from the beginning. I love a take charge kind of guy who is also willing to admit he went a little overboard at times

I received this audio by the author for an honest review (I would rate 4.5 stars).

Even though I was curious, I enjoyed listening to the audio book—it was very clear and pronunciation was concise. This storyline held my attention, which I listened to in one sitting. After hearing the story, it may make you feel sad, confused, appalled, and even euphoric. This is the first time I listened to an audio book, and the narrating was well done by Sophia Lovegood and the storyline was well written by

A Very Sweet Interracial Romance

The Baby is Mine (BWWM Pregnancy Romance) is a very sweet interracial romance novel that earned a rating of four stars. A African-American single mother becomes a surrogate to a Billionaire and his dead wife. Due to complications the couple live together to provide for their baby and they begin to fall in love, but the have obstacles to overcome. I liked this novel and would recommend it to anyone who enjoys reading good interracial romance novels.

Different Spin on a Regular Story

I really enjoyed the different spin put on a much overdone story line. I really enjoyed it. I think when stories jump in time sequences a double space or some other kind of notification would be good. It's hard sometimes understanding and you have to do a double take to realise where the story is going

There were entirely too many grammatical errors in this book. The Heroines mother disappeared and then shows back up later, the story just seemed to be thrown together and rushed. Great storyline, just needs to be fleshed out better.

I won this in audiobook format.
I simply loved the book. It author did an excellent job developing the characters and unlike alot of HEA books the ending gave you better closure about what the future of the couple involved in the story was.

Interesting look at a controversial subject about surrogates and racial integration. It had enough drama to keep me interested and I hated his evil sister who kept poking her nose in. Good book and would recommend.
