Cute book, great illustrations. Unless they're in Alaska or Canada however, there aren't any "brown bears" in the Pacific Northwest. The writing was a little jagged, but the illustrations make up for that. Found at the Humboldt Redwoods State Park Visitor Center.

A very cute story of two bears helping a third (teddy) bear make his way back to his boy. We get some great scenes of the Pacific Northwest wilderness, including a seal, gray whale, and bald eagle. My son was very excited to read this, he loves animals.

This is the story of a lost teddy bear who falls out of the RV of a traveling family. The lost bear is very concerned that his boy won't be able to sleep without him. A black bear foraging in the area offers to help find the lost family. In their travels they meet many animals of the Pacific Northwest.
Eventually they meet up with a brown bear who joins the hunt. But the magic happens when an eagle picks up teddy bear and fly's him him in the air and they spot a campground with many RV's, one of them being the lost family's.
Reads like someone typing their storytelling version of this story. This makes for a rather strange, uncomfortable reading. I felt like I should be using lots of body movement to help illustrate the story.

This book was a gift from a dear friend for my newborn boy (now 3). We've enjoyed reading this together since he was little. Now, he understands the story, and I think he really likes it. A little stuffed blue bear is lost out the window of his RV and enlists the help of a black bear and brown bear to find his boy (and RV) again. They meet all sorts of critters in the Pacific Northwest, but it's the illustrations that do it for me. They are simply gorgeous. Re-reading this for bedtime a couple of days ago was a great idea, and I think it'll be one we consistently go back to for a long time to come.

Children's Picture book
This is the hilarious story of two bears and their journey to return a third little stuffed bear back to his family at a campground in the PNW.
I love this book, it's a really funny concept and simultaneously covers different aspects of the PNW. I'm not sure exactly what unit I would use this book for but I would love to have it in my classroom and read it for younger kids. I might be a bit biased though because I love the climate around here. Maybe this would be a good book for visualizing.

Washington. an adorable little story about bears traveling to help a teddy bear find his owner. I am so sad that the pictures don't showcase more of the landscapes that are talked about in the story. The story talks about a waterfall and you never see the waterfall. I understand the draw for children is probably going to be the animals, but I wish you could see more of the actual Pacific Northwest. I do think it's a great way to see animals in the Puget sound area.

This book would be a good book to have in my classroom. It explains about the pacific northwest while telling the story of a blue bear trying to get back to his owner. He ends up finding some friends along the way. I love how the story ends in a camp ground. The art work is very simple with bold earth colors.

3.5 stars. It was a cute enough book. The story was just alright. I rounded up to 4 stars on the review because I enjoy Jeremiah's illustrations.

Loved the animals and the story.

Cute and well-illustrated. The animals feel real while having definite personality. I feel like it tries a bit too hard to be local.

I loved this book. I've purchased quite a few copies. Given as gifts to Nieces, nephews, my granddaughters and the littles I nanny! Purchased my first copy at The Woodland Park Zoo here in Seattle

Three bears, the Pacific Northwestern Brown Bear and Black Bear along with a stuffed Blue Bear, go on a journey through nature to help Blue Bear get back home to his family. On the journey, the reader is taken from the mountains to the shore and get introduced to different aspects of the Pacific Northwest and the animals that live there. Accompanied by Trammell’s expressionistic illustrations, the bears’ story is a very fun and educational adventure.

This is a cute and very original story about a teddy bear who teams up with both a live brown bear and a black bear to find his owner who has accidentally lost him out the window of his RV traveling through the Pacific Northwest. The pictures of great!

"High in the Cascade Mountains, Black Bear was about to cross the road to his favorite berry patch when an RV came cruising around the corner."
This was a really fun story about a little teddy bear. I like the idea of his little journey back to his boy.
