Achieving a fine balance between concepts and procedures, this innovative text shows readers how to apply calculus in a wide range of fields including biology and economics. It offers a focused vision, presenting concepts, four different geometrically, numerically, analytically, and verbally. This approach provides readers with the benefit of several interpretations and helps them gain a solid understanding of essential topics.
I always thought it was hard to do maths, but this book was too clear and everything was simple. Even though some of the chapters might be better in a different sequence but I think that it's okay as calculus has related topics in different ways.
I did not find this book to be very helpful with my Calculus class. Some of the lessons did not do very much for teaching me how to compute the answers.
