Holly Geely is a bookkeeper by day. While she loves her job, it isn't terribly exciting, so her imagination overcompensates by forcing her to write.

She's a fan of bad puns, bright colours, and parodies. Her stories pop up in online magazines here and there. Her website is one part ramblings, one part flash fiction, and all parts ridiculous.

A very entertaining collection of short tales that will have strangers giving you odd looks as you chortle away (on a railway platform, for example) at the delicate humour on offer.

The collection is put together well, the stories grouped into genres (fantasy / steampunk / sci-fi) so that things don't get too disorientating, though there are a couple of spelling errors sprinkled throughout.

Once Upun A Time is best enjoyed in short bites; ideal for me and my short, two station train journey to work. There's a nice mix for everyone, and the imagination on display throughout is impressive. You'll never know whats coming next.
