Is it weird that only when I start a L.H. Cosway book am I reminded of how much I adore her writing style? I’ve read almost all of her work and still am shocked how much I enjoy the ease in which she gifts a story. Her writing flows seamlessly while she gifts quirky heroines and to drool over heroes and this book delivers on all points.

Rose Taylor is an amazing dancer but is comfortable behind the curtain working as a choreographer’s assistant. This time she is

Unpopular opinion, but this guy is my Damon

This book. What can I say? Rose and Damon are everything. LH Cosway never disappoints. She continues to deliver butterflies in the stomach and delicious heart-twisty aches in the chest. I love her books.

Damon is one of my top three Cosway heroes, right up there with Viv and Shane. Though Oliver is one of my favorites, too. . . hmm. . .

And Rose is, as ever, a delight.

I think this might be my favorite

Once again L.H. Cosway delivered an enthralling read that capture my heart from the beginning until the end. There’s no secret I adore her stories and her characters and I find her writing to be impeccable each and every time. 'Showmance' was not my first read that features the magnificent world of theatre, but it was without a doubt the best. Everything was stellar. From the emotions this magnificent world evoked to all the wonderful settings, everything was vividly portrayed. Needles

Just three quick facts (or should I say opinions) about this book:

Fact #1: I love Ms. Cosway’s writing.

Her style is fresh and romantic, filled with warmth, love and wit. Her characters are likable and real. She always delivers unconventional love stories with unique settings.

Fact #2: There’s just something magical and mystical about theaters.

The air filled with creative energy, audience waiting in anticipation, voices murmuring, hushing as the lights dim... until the curtain rises and the real

Damon, Damon, Damon.

Yup, he's my new book boyfriend. All mine. I'll fight ya for him! Why? Because Damon Atwood is a wonderful mix of tortured, brooding artist and gruff, caring, earthiness. I absolutely loved him! He was a perfect counterpoint to heroine, Rose, a talented, romantic, warm, trusting, open young woman. She was exactly the kind of person Damon needed in his life, and as far as character development goes, perfection. I also loved how both hero and heroine had their fair share

I'm such a fanatic about L.H. Cosway's writing. Her stories are rich with detail and authenticity. She takes unexpected and flawed characters and makes them leap right off the pages and capture your whole imagination. Showmance was no exception, I was completely absorbed and luxuriating in the setting, the characters, and the wonderful world of theater. This is the

Rose has sworn off actors. Being in the business she's in, she's gotten burned too many times by some of the beautiful players of the industry. She's a hopeless romantic, always looking for love, but after her latest heartache, she's decided she's taking a break

Overall, I enjoyed this book, but I also have some issues with it.

I won't go into the summary of this book anymore since there are plenty of reviews out there who's done a magnificent job of doing that. So let's just start with the stuff that I did like and enjoyed.

One, the characters. Damon is your perfect broken, broody hero that's so talented and yet still endearingly awkward at the same time. I enjoyed that tortured, brooding aspect of his character and liked how he slowly opened up to Ros

L.H. Cosway is one of my top favorite authors, but I'm sad to say this one didn't really work for me. I just honestly think she's written much better books than this, and those are the ones I would recommend to anyone new to her work. Still Life with Strings, Six of Hearts, Painted Faces, Killer Queen are my personal favorites. This wasn't all bad, I was invested enough to finish it, and I did like some of the characters and the theatre backdrop. I just had too many frustrations with it

Showmance is my first L.H. Cosway book, I loved her books with Penny Reid so I was excited to read this one. Let me tell you, I wasn’t disappointed. I actually loved every word of this one. Damon and Rose are such special, fantastic characters and watching them fall in love put a huge smile on my face.

Short review. While I enjoyed this newest book from LH Cosway, I was not blown away by it. I loved the concept and idea of the book, a choreographer and an actor falling in love. But the indecisiveness of the characters and the high school behavior just didn't work for me. I loved Julian and really hope he gets his own book somewhere down the line.

Anyways like I said I enjoyed this, I just didn't love it. Please don't tell me you're sorry. Thanks!

Amazing, interesting characters and even more interesting storyline! I was totally absorbed in Damon and Rose’s story. The main focus here is to never give up on your dream, no matter what gets thrown in your way.

After being away from the spotlight almost for a decade, Damon Atwood makes his acting career comeback in a musical show on London’s West End with a lead role. Rose is the choreographer’s assistant. Although she is very beautiful and an excellent dancer, she suffers from

I have said this before that one of the things that I love about L. H. Cosways writing is the genuineness and warmth that I am left feeling while reading her stories. Her characters continue to be endearing, vibrant and unique.

While I did get all of this and I did enjoy the story, Showmance didn’t end up being that perfect 5 star book for me. For a good stretch of the book my rating was a steady 3.5 stars but the last chapter and Epilogue pushed it up a bit.

If you want to read a thoroughly entertaining, feel-good book, then you need to pick up Showmance, by L. H. Cosway. With this book, Cosway brings us her trademark flawed characters, along with a sassy, strong heroine. Showmance is a surefire winner!

I always look forward to new books from LH Cosway, her writing is uniquely engaging, and her stories are so rich in detail and character depth. She takes you on a journey, and it's easy to believe you are actually part of everything that is taking place within the pages.

I loved this! It was over too soon! Damon is a wonderful hero- definitely not the usual hero. He is sweet, shy and not even close to being a manwhore! So refreshing! I liked Rose too! She is a sweetheart! I loved the way their relationship progressed. I wish there was an epilogue set out farther than 6 months later. I would love more about this couple!

Showromance was my first book by L.H Cosway alone. I read the two books she wrote with Penny Reid. As I loved these two, I wanted to experience what she could write alone. I still haven't read anything by Penny Reid (I know... I will soon) and I wanted to wait for Showromance to be released to read L.H Cosway. The blurb got my attention right away. I'm very much interested in everything related to music, art, movie, actors,...

This is quite possibly the HARDEST review we’ve ever had to write because this was one of our most anticipated new releases for 2016 by one of our favourite, automatic 1click authors. We couldn’t wait to dive into Showmance – after all, we’ve loved everything this author has written: be it solo or as a collaboration, so our excitement was at stratospheric levels for this read!

Low-angst romance set among a London West-end stage production between the male lead H and the assistant choreographer h. Both of them are very sweet though the H is a gruff introvert, while h is a sunny extrovert. If it was only the h/H and their romance I'd rate it 5 stars, bcos they were just so right together; but the media romance aspects of it - drugged up actors, people and tabloids wanting a piece of them etc. was irritating. Luckily the h/H navigated it all with good communication so no ...more

Damon!!! Hot hot hot!!!!!
I love me a sweet fisherman that knows how to sing!!!!
Damon is my favorite character in this book. Rose was good, she didn't annoyed me too much! ;)

This story is about a child star that is starting over after many years of not acting, his grandmother's death wish was for him to act again. And a choreographer who didn't want anything to do with actors, after getting burned too many times.
What will happen when destiny has them work together. ;).

I tried, I really did... and I wanted to love this book so much, because L.H. Cosway's writing is phenomenal, but it just wasn't in the cards for me.
I ended up skimming through out majority of this book, but I have to admit, I do have a teeny tiny problem with slow burn romance, and boy this one was slow.
It just wasn't my thing.

Showmance is only the second book I’ve read that L.H. Cosway has written independently, but I have to say she has a knack for writing damaged heroes. I was captivated by Damon Atwood, the leery and painfully socially awkward former child star making his stage debut in Moulin Rouge on London’s West End. Rose is a choreographer’s assistant who has been burned in the past by falling for shallow actors. Despite her best attempts to guard her heart, she is understandably drawn to Damon and decides to ...more
