The real beauty of this book is its photographs. They reflect the power of the author's journey.

I read this book at exactly the right time. An honest, beautifully rendered essay and collection of photos. As an artist myself, who also spent a lot of time on the road, I found it fulfilling and moving to see how someone else made sense of her art and life in this way as well. Honest without being over-focused on herself, lovely without going too far afield--this little treasure is one I'll read again and again and likewise give as a gift to my artist friends. A rare jewel.
