This is an interesting book about the famous football player, David Beckham. I liked the way the author tied together Beckham's life misbehavior (due to his fame) with his being disliked and rejected by some football coaches.
Great book about Beckham's early years and then goes into his entire soccer career. Talks about his struggles on and off the field and how he handled his fame. From injuries to tough career choices, this book has a little of it all. I enjoyed the book because it is a great pathway into reading for a student that might be a fan of soccer but hasnt yet become a fan of reading.
