NOT "a guide to the basics of good writing"!! it is a formatting and typesetting guide, specifically for government publications, but with useful rules for day-to-day publishing regarding capitalization, forms of reference/address, etc.

There are several manuals on different styles or methods of writing and documenting resources. This is the government version.
