This book rocks! I want to plant an English Garden and was doing lots of online research, but most websites are very inconsistent about the information they provide--plant height, necessary sun and soil conditions, bloom time etc. This book contains all of that info, plus really neat information about using different textures, heights and shapes to create a really cool garden. I am psyched for springtime!

I'm planning on converting most of our yard into a perennial pollinator garden. I've got quite some plants already but with this book it will be easier to put together beds that will always have at least a couple of flowers in bloom. The bloom season chart will be of much help to achieve this. There is also a chart listing plants from small to large and a color chart of warm and cool colors. About half of the book is dedicated to the description of different perennials which includes Latin name, brief and detailed description and a picture of the plant. Overall, a great guide for gardeners!
