Too boring to read continuously. But the content of book is really worth to read for the person who is interested to learn about economics. Inception of ideas, principles and analysis of political economy, resulting from the impact of instantaneous politico economic status of different regions of Europe on different philosophers or personalities and their influence on consequential future events and shaping pivotal ideas of modern economy (which by the way is recent past of current economic ideas and models). It is a discussion on various ideas of economics by various personalities and its history background, beginning from Adam Smith to Karl Marx. It is concise and elegant in its ideas, suited for ardent budding economic scholar.
