This was such a great read that I inhaled it, I didn't stop reading until I was finished with the book. Lane was a breath of fresh air, he's not your typical alpha male, he's a bit shy and a whole lot of cute. When Allison comes up with a bright idea to help the fire department to raise money, Lane doesn't want to do it but he knows it's for a great cause and since some of his other firefighter brother will be posing for the calendar as well he does it. I bet he didn't know what he was getting h ...more

I absolutely loving visiting Pride, Oregon in these books. However, this book has taken over as my favorite book in the series. You have a hunky fireman with the body of a Greek god, intellect and is a gentleman. You have a female who is not only pretty, athletic, strong and intelligent, but knows how to take care of herself. Toss in a great plot with unanticipated action as well as, some rather great sex and you have a book that you won't be able to put down! Kudo's! I'm thrilled that I was sel ...more

Enjoyable read to the Pride Series. Looking forward to the next story.
You're The One!!!

Lane Austin a firefighter at Pride County Fire & Rescue would do anything for his firehouse, he even let himself get talked into auctioning himself off. It wasn't that hard cause he could never say no to one of his dearest friends, Allison Jordan.

Abigail Taylor just came out of a terrible relationship and to celebrate her freedom, her cousin Jenna took her to an auction thrown by the local firehouse. Unknown to Abby, Jenna bought her Mr September who turned out to be, Lane.

Ok usually I love all Jill's book but there was one confusing thing that should of been edited out when she said she had a older brother who died of Muscular Dystrophy (MD) and then it was never mentioned or refereed to again didn't make sense, I know these book are short in length but if your going to write that in then why does she not mention it to Lane when he talks about Angie why dose Abby's father as well not mention him you even wrote that her dad said Abby and Jenna longed for siblings ...more

It's getting HOT in here!!
I absolutely love the Pride series, but Rescue me has gone to the top spot...
It has everything you need, a HOT, chunky fireman...
An amazing storyline and a very sexy, beautiful, leading lady..
Lane has been rope into selling himself at auction, to raise money for the firehouse...
Abby has just come out of a bad relationship and is moving to Pride to start over..
Her friend thinks she needs a bit of TLC, so she bids for him...
Abby is not impressed, till she picks her jaw up

Lane reluctantly agrees to be auctioned off to raise money for the firehouse. Abby's cousin decides that Abby should have some fun and "buys" a date for Abby. Despite both of their reservations, they hit is off and have more in common than they originally thought. Abby is getting ready to move to Pride and so they will be seeing a lot of each other. Abby needs to set aside her anxiety over her previous failed relationship or they may not stand a chance. ...more

I received this book in exchange for an honest review. This is such a sweet, romantic read with great characters and some action and suspense thrown in. I love Lane and Abby and how they met and how their relationship progressed. Lane is every girl's dream man. He's a hot, sweet, dedicated fireman who literally walked through fire for Abby to save her. You will enjoy this great romance. ...more

Rescue Me by Jill Sanders is a difficult book to review, because I wanted to like it so much. I just couldn't get myself to. There was a huge disconnect. It is written in third person and it doesn't connect well with the main characters. The male lead - Lane - is connected really well, but when it switches to Abby, I feel like it's really forced. Also...what is the point of the whole car buying scene? I honestly found no point to it and could have easily been taken out of the book without affect ...more
Tres bonne histoire comme le reste de la série mais ce tome a été traduit à la va vite sans relecture et c’est juste horrible sur certains passages (coquilles, mot manquant ou en trop, erreur grammaticale...)

Eh. It was ok. I wouldn't read another book from this author. She says "smiled" or "smile" way too much. The copy editor in me wanted to pummel her. And the story itself was kind of ok. ...more

Nice easy read

It was a good story although a bit predictable. You knew by now there would be a tragic incident but what and when was interesting.

Good read

I enjoy reading series books. They continue the stories of family and places. You can keep up with the story of brothers and sisters.

Wow! What a great book! I loved the story line of Lane getting talked into posing for a firefighters calendar. But that's not all. As another fundraiser, he agrees to participate in a Fireman Auction and be auctioned off for a dinner date. Abby was new in town and just ended a relationship. In an attempt to cheer her up, Abby's cousin, Jenna, takes her out. Little did Abby know they were going to the auction. Jenna bought Mr. September, Lane, for Abby when she was out of the room. Abby was sure ...more

Very good..

I really enjoyed the story. I know that since I didn’t skim over one page. It was a cute love story with a nice couple, Lane and Abby, that fell in love over a period of a few weeks, when she moved to the town from which her cousin, Jenna, bought Abby a date at a firemens auction.

I liked all the other players in the book, Iian, Allison, Angie, Walter and Jenna. There was a little problem with Lane’s ex-girlfriend but that really didn’t last long. The OMG moment came with the plane c
