This was such a great read that I inhaled it, I didn't stop reading until I was finished with the book. Lane was a breath of fresh air, he's not your typical alpha male, he's a bit shy and a whole lot of cute. When Allison comes up with a bright idea to help the fire department to raise money, Lane doesn't want to do it but he knows it's for a great cause and since some of his other firefighter brother will be posing for the calendar as well he does it. I absolutely loving visiting Pride, Oregon in these books. However, this book has taken over as my favorite book in the series. You have a hunky fireman with the body of a Greek god, intellect and is a gentleman. You have a female who is not only pretty, athletic, strong and intelligent, but knows how to take care of herself. Ok usually I love all Jill's book but there was one confusing thing that should of been edited out when she said she had a older brother who died of Muscular Dystrophy (MD) and then it was never mentioned or refereed to again didn't make sense, I know these book are short in length but if your going to write that in then why does she not mention it to Lane when he talks about Angie why dose Abby's father as well not mention him you even wrote that her dad said Abby and Jenna longed for siblings

Lane reluctantly agrees to be auctioned off to raise money for the firehouse. Abby's cousin decides that Abby should have some fun and "buys" a date for Abby. Despite both of their reservations, they hit is off and have more in common than they originally thought. Abby is getting ready to move to Pride and so they will be seeing a lot of each other. Abby needs to set aside her anxiety over her previous failed relationship or they may not stand a chance.

I received this book in exchange for an honest review. This is such a sweet, romantic read with great characters and some action and suspense thrown in. I love Lane and Abby and how they met and how their relationship progressed. Lane is every girl's dream man. He's a hot, sweet, dedicated fireman who literally walked through fire for Abby to save her. You will enjoy this great romance.

Rescue Me by Jill Sanders is a difficult book to review, because I wanted to like it so much. I just couldn't get myself to. There was a huge disconnect. It is written in third person and it doesn't connect well with the main characters. The male lead - Lane - is connected really well, but when it switches to Abby, I feel like it's really forced. Also...what is the point of the whole car buying scene? I honestly found no point to it and could have easily been taken out of the book without affect

Tres bonne histoire comme le reste de la série mais ce tome a été traduit à la va vite sans relecture et c’est juste horrible sur certains passages (coquilles, mot manquant ou en trop, erreur grammaticale...)
Eh. It was ok. I wouldn't read another book from this author. She says "smiled" or "smile" way too much. The copy editor in me wanted to pummel her. And the story itself was kind of ok.

I am so glad I finally got to return to the Pride series. I have loved the entire series and this book was a wonderful addition to it. It was worth the wait !!!!!

Wow! What a great book! I loved the story line of Lane getting talked into posing for a firefighters calendar. But that's not all. As another fundraiser, he agrees to participate in a Fireman Auction and be auctioned off for a dinner date. Abby was new in town and just ended a relationship.
