Myles Hollander was an American academic statistician who made research contributions to nonparametric methods, biostatistics, and reliability. He was Emeritus and Robert O. Lawton Distinguished Professor of Statistics at Florida State University. He was a Fellow of the American Statistical Association, the Institute of Mathematical Statistics, and the International Statistical Institute.
Each chapter section showcases a nonparametric technique, and then usually has commentary/notes longer than the chapter itself -- but I do like having all that extra info about these methods. As a master's-level student I felt it was informative and easy to follow.
