My name is Dixon Crawford — my friends call me Dick.

I’m rich, divorced and I have two small kids.

When it comes to women, I like to play the field. I don’t want to ever be tied down again.

I met Eden at a Presidential gala and, yes, I was intrigued. When school started in September I was shocked to learn Eden was my son’s kindergarten teacher…

You know when a story is titled Dick, it has to be good. And this story certainly was. It wasn’t what I was expecting—it was better!

Dixon, aka Dick, is a ladies man, a player, and a single father. He knows he’s an asshole and likes it that way.

Eden is a kindergarten teacher with a son of her own, but is living in a loveless marriage with her rich husband, Blythe.

The two meet at a presidential gala and are instantly attracted to one another. But they don’t act on it. Eden wouldn’t cheat

Ok... so.....

This book had the potential to be awesome, it just wasn't for me. Dick, that's exactly what he was. They want you to think he's this womanizing bad boy and yeah, I'm sure he is; but he seemed nerdy and just...not what he wanted you to think he was.... I wasn't impressed by him at all. The cover is hot, him being a dad and a good one at that, is hot. He was supposed to be this big shot billionaire that had casual conversations with the Obama's and was made to be in high s

The book sounded so promising and I was really excited to read it though it sadly wasn't as good as I'd hoped. It was just an okay read. The characters were interesting at first and made me want to know more about them though after a while they both became kind of dull and changed too much. Eden started out as a strong and confident character and then became shy and amenable. Dick was a cocky womanizer and became a loving and responsible father. Not that those characteristics were bad but it fel ...more

The Price for my toughest judgment on a book so far this week goes to “Dick: A Bad Boys Novel” by R.C. Stephens.

First of all this is my first book by this author and I liked the writing style. It was fluent, flawless and the characters were well developed.

When I choose the book I knew that there might be a deal breaker inside as the blurb announced a marriage. But I knew that depending on the handling that might be OK and actually it was. Edens husband was … lets say it this way – Dixon had a fitting name for him.

I liked Eden –

I've read a couple of books by R.C. Stephens and have enjoyed each one, even though they were all vastly different. Dick: A Bad Boys Novel is again unlike anything I've read by her and very different from what I'm reading elsewhere. I love the way the characters' backstories intermingle with each other and the fact that it takes each of them a while to figure it out. Both the main characters have suffered loss and abandonment in their past. For Dixon that altered his entire life, and when it hap ...more

Four and a Half Stars.

After reading and loving HALO by R.C.Stephens, I knew I had to read more of her amazing works.

*Dick*: A Bad Boys Novel, is a wonderful story of falling in love, and second chances, but with real life events and upsets, that are more likely to happen to any of us rather than in a Romance story.

I did have a problem at a couple of stages in this story, as there is *cheating* (it may be justified cheating but....) I really was unsure if I wanted to carry on. But don't let that put you off, as the story plays ou

“You're my son's teacher, Eden. I also find you incredibly tempting. I know I shouldn't want you, but I do. I want you so bad it hurts.”

The plot of the book was interesting and it drew me in from the first few chapters, but at times it was a bit dull and I skimmed some pages.

I both, liked Eden's character, and didn't. She was strong and capable but she wa/>/>/>

I loved this story following super rich man whore Dixon "Dick" Crawford and quiet reserved teacher Eden Jenkins. The story and characters had so much potential. Eden is stuck in a loveless marriage to a super rich cheat who has no time for his wife and child. Dick is a divorced father of two who it would seem has slept his way through half of the ladies in the playground. With a reputation for sleeping around, he has no intention of ever settling down and falling in love.

I loved this storyline. What are the chances of finding someone after so long? These two characters have overcome abandonment by their families. They have suffered through the pain of loss and the feelings of unworthiness. They have both grown so much in the time they have been apart. Dick still has some emotional revelations to come that will leave you in tears of joy. Eden has to decide what it is she wants and what she feels she deserves out of life. The

Guy was a manwhore, no doubt, but there was a HEA and no cheating by the h or the H on one another. Now, she was still married when she was with Dixon the first time but her marriage was nothing and the husband has other woman. I hated her husband for the way he treated her even he he did "try" for 10 minutes at the end. Too late. Also, Dixon turned out to be a good guy, even if he was gross to me at the start. He only has eyes for Eden though which is good. There is an epilogue and a HEA.

This book has me off somehow. I enjoyed the premise of the story and the outcome. But I was a little disturbed by the road getting to it.  Both the main characters having been in a bad/rough/sad childhood has think about love so differently. And once they get together , they know that they need to rescue each other.  It was a well written, good book, but there are some moments that I had to shut my kindle down and walk away.

I think Dixon aka "Dick" should be called anything but that. I get were the nickname is coming from and it does stand true to how he was with the use them and leave them kind of girls, but I just loved him too much to ever feel that nickname to suite him. Dixon is such an amazing father to his little daughter and son.

Honestly, I couldn't get enough of the sweet way he never failed to interact with them. Sigh. It's pure joy to read about a man who adores his children to the ends of the world. I

This is a classic example of the fact that you shouldn’t judge a book by its cover…or its name! When I was asked to read and review this book by the author, the name of the book threw me off a bit. However, I read the synopsis and found myself intrigued. Once I began to read it, I found myself completely pulled into the story and found a delightful bit of a twist I didn’t see coming. And so I read on and once I finished the book, I found myself looking forward to reading more books in this serie ...more

I received a copy of this book for my honest review. I like the writing. The author does a good job with her writing style. Dick is the bad boy that you come to love. Eden had so much to deal with coming out of a unhealthy relationship. At times I struggled to connect with the characters. However, it was nice to read a book about characters who are dealing with real life issues. There was so much going on in this book that I felt like it moved a little to fast in solving every problem. It was a ...more

I received a copy for a honest review.

Dixon "Dick" Crawford is literally a dick because he's a known manwhore. He is wealthy, loves his job and his kids. On the night of a gala he meets Eden Jenkins, a beautiful woman he's instantly attracted to and she's closer than he thinks. Eden is his son's school teacher and because of this and other reasons, she is off limits.

This book started off well. I liked the premise of the story 'manwhore meets pure woman' and it was executed

Dick is a different story in the sense that this involves more than just the alpha male looking to take what he desires. The piece that really played to my heart strings what the level of love and sacrifice both Dixon and Eden were willing to go to love and protect their children. This is more than the typical romance of two people drawn together with a deep connection, this is a story about rising above, about thinking about the choices of one’s actions, and finally determining what is best for ...more

He meets Eden, a young school teacher in a love-less marriage at a Presidential gala they are both attending. They are immediately attracted to each other. Dick is a fun 5 star read, and I would recommend this book to anyone looking a good romance. The story flowed nicely, and it touched on every emotion, keeping me fully engaged. I loved how both Eden and Dixon (AKA Dick) grew through the story, and I enjoyed their interactions. The supporting characters were also fun, especially their kids. Even though this book is part of a series, it is also a rare standalone novel.
